  1. Ummmm...... Take notes as fast as you can, then go back and elaborate when s/he finally winds down and rests?
  2. Wooo hooo! Seems Officer Mallory Smith isn't quite as cold and nasty as she wants people to think! That she noticed the underlying tension between Jason and Travis doesn't surprise me. She is after all a trained investigator and SHOULD be observant. To have let on that she knew tho is bound to add to that tension. Why can I see her giggling behind her hand when the guys are not looking? I agree with Daithi, the evidence is piling up on the son too fast and too neatly, as tho someone WANTS him convicted besides the prosecution's team. I love how quickly you post chapters, but if you don't mind a suggestion? You may want to hook up with an editor/beta reader. There are a few spots where it seemed like your fingers could not keep up with your brain. In one spot it looks like half of two different sentences got lost and the front of one was then married to the back of the other. Great story line and quick postings make a winning combination mister! Thank you.
  3. NOPE, not gonna say it, gonna be a good girl. Oh hell yes I am. I can totally see Zu sitting at the computer confusing the hell out of himself before he found anything even remotely helpful! Read this one out loud to hubby and had him rolling at times. Well done!
  4. Since I am not a writer anyway perhaps I am better off without a muse. The seem like flightly things to me. Temperamental even.

    The First

As for grammar, I think you're generally pretty safe in the blogs from sniper attacks LOL the same cannot be said if you decide to start posting stories. The grammar police are out there. I have even heard them referred to as grammar nazi's!
  6. oh my no! I can see people being equated with a chicken!
  7. Well tell us what this gender non-specific personal pronoun is! Perhaps we could start a trend, since we have people chatting here worldwide!

    Chapter 19

Pretty screwed up shit that the twink gets away with spiking Robbie's drink, but I suppose things like that happen at parties all the time in the Hollywood set. Robbie and Will look like they are getting their acts straight in regards to each other. Nice twist - Will realizing how Trevor and his friend could be hurt if their little tryst is found out. He keeps growing up in leaps and bounds. He keeps this mature behavior up too long and a good portion of your readers will freak on you next time Will acts like a 15 yr old! A very pleasant surprise finding a new chapter so soon. Thank you.
  9. Now Now, there are much worse things we could be addicted to!
  10. Oh my. Now I have pictures in my head of Zu surfing the net and trying to figure out just how he is going to learn to give head. Loving the roll reversal and confusion Zu has to work thru.
  11. So - it sounds like Corey was adopted. Where are/what happened to his biological parents? Was it a single parent adoption? Was there some sort of spouse around 10 yrs ago that no longer is?? Lol I love a story that keeps me coming back for more and asking questions, provided of course the answers are forthcoming eventually! And I agree with the gentleman above - Corey is a totally believable 12 yr old.
  12. I think Rustle is right. The Adam's apple can be deceiving, but a woman's hips are hinged differently from men's. This one looks decidedly feminine to me. Too bad it isn't a video - the walk would give it away conclusively.
  13. And I love to talk horses, rodeo, and guys so feel free to drop questions or comments that might be in my ballpark.
  14. I love the interaction between Travis and Smith. Sort of forces Jason to be more objective and actually listen to Travis rather than dismiss him as the rookie with the hots for him. My last question still stands - Does Jason know he is gay/bi or is he just figuring it out? I would love to hear the back story of how this man now in an untenable situation with a hot coworker came to have such an intelligent, mature, smart ass'd son! Short chapters are ok with me - as long as they keep coming this quickly! I love getting my fixes on an almost daily basis!
  15. Woo Hoo - so - does daddy know he is gay/bi or is he just finding this out? Sounds like junior has a better grip on this one than daddy does! Keep writing - keep writing - faster - faster

    Afterwards

I am loving the "confused Zu". Can't wait to see what he says and does when he realizes he wants a second date! And points to Bay for not busting him about the confusion - yet.
  18. Ok - now that you have mastered the hook and gotten us all looking for your entries you are going to have to put up with us pestering you with comments reviews and pleas to write faster. Great start and promises to keep us reading just as fast as your last story - if not faster. Looking forward to it.
  19. I don't need to like her politics or aprove of her opinions to like Paula Dean's recipes. The biggest act of idiocy i ever say was a woman who tossed away a hand written cookbook left by her great grandmother that contained all sorts of old family recipes that are lost now. Her reasoning? Apparently great gram and gramps owned slaves and she felt using the cookbook would have been endorsing slavery.

    Let's be fair.....

I am not saying - or implying - that a specific law was not needed or would not be advantageous, simply that it's not impossible to deal with the situation just because legislation does not yet exist.
  21. There is only one loose end you didn't tie in a nice neat bow. I am hoping you are saving that for a sequel. That's Jon's mom and her manipulative controlling issues. I have a mom-in-law very much like her. I can sooo see her raising a fuss when they tell her about the impending marriage and again when the boys decide to have children of their own. It's pretty easy to see where Jon came by all his insecurities. A wonderful story from start to finish. I too am a sucker for happily ever after and this one gave us three!
  22. I was going to try and say all this as a response to MikeL's blog entry but it seems I have way to much to say for that. Mike is right in that the 5 things gay's cannot do need to be fixed, but I don't see them all as "gay" issues. They strike me more as human rights issues and at least three of them hit the "straight" community just as hard. Donating blood - I can understand why they banned it in '85. Back then they barely knew what HIV was. It was a logical step to reduce the possibility of transmission. With new testing methods is it still necessary? Well - I would rather modify the ban for a bit before completely lifting it. Testing history showing a potential donor clean before donation ( and I think that should go for all donors - not just gay ones) could be a place to start. A simple card provided after routine blood work would be easy to present at the time of donation. The government sees fit to supplement the incomes of hundreds of thousands of people who should not be on public assistance, I feel this is something they SHOULD be supplementing. When you go for regular blood work tell them you are a blood donor so the extra tests can be done on the governments dime. Something i would not mind my tax dollars going towards. They should also allow directed blood donations. If I can donate and store my own blood against a surgical procedure that is pending for religious reasons, why cant similar arrangements be made if my gay neighbor with the same blood type wants to help me out in my time of need? I would rather get blood from him, a man i know and trust than some stranger that could have slipped thru the testing cracks. Eventually blood supply monitoring will prove itself reliable enough to lift the ban, and none of these actions will be necessary. But till then its better to be safe than sorry, and ALL donations should be carefully screened. Adoption should be an option to ANY person with the love and the means to raise a child. A single parent family that is a loving family is much better than foster care. Sexuality certianly adds to the obsticles when it should not, but there are other hurdles that need to be cleared as well. Medical decisions are something EVERYONE should make preparations for. When my mother was ill and became unable to make her own decisions, a decline that occurred very rapidly, I legally could not make decisions for her - that should have fallen to dad. He however was unable to do so do to his own medical problems after a stroke. Had my parents thought ahead and arranged a medical power of attorney before things became so screwed up I would not have needed a small army of lawyers in addition to the army of doctors to take care of them. My point here is again - the system needs fixing, it isn't just gay couples affected, and in the interim a lot of planning needs be done to prevent landing in an impossible situation. Seek legal recourse for unjust dismissal? Sorry - while there may be no laws specifically banning dismissal on sexuality there is always a way to find legal recourse. If some idiot can sue McDonnalds because her hot coffee was hot then unjust dismissal is fair game with or without specific laws. You just need the right attorney and I would suggest the ACLU to help with that if you are unsure of where to turn. The scouting issue - well that whole situation is just wrong and I will gladly lend my voice in hopes that nonsense like that can be eradicated!
  23. I love getting to know more about Zu as he figures this out himself. My word but I can see all sorts of paths this can take! I cant wait to see which one Zu chooses!

    Chapter 18

I loved the way Brad worked so hard not to like the house or Will's decision to buy it. But I loved the way he caved when Will showed him exactly why he looked at this house in the first place. And I can see Stef having all sorts of fun putting the finishing touches on the house! He must be getting totally stoked to have a completely blank palate to play with! As usual sir a superb addition to the story.
  25. There is a big difference between stopping the destruction of the environment and protecting endangered species and totally screwing around with the future by reintroducing extinct species. I just feel there is a lot more to consider. Just because we CAN do something now like cloning an extinct species doesn't mean we SHOULD. Did we or can we correct the reason they died out in the first place? Do we even understand fully why it occurred? Was it a result of something man caused or was it simply that the species had run its course to conclusion and could no longer adapt?? Would it be right to start a cloning and breeding program and re-introduce an animal only to have the same issues kill it off again?
