Sitting in his cell, Michael thought about what his father had said. He was angry about being threatened with possible exile from the pack all because that little human had shown up. He didn’t believe for one minute Aiden and that monster could be true mates. It just wasn’t possible. He thought hard about his future with the pack. He fully expected to become the next alpha, following his father, grandfather, and great-grandfather. He still had a little over ten days in confinement and he would use every one of those days to work out what he needed to do. Boy just doesn't learn. Excellent chapter.

People wanted to know what the hell was going to happen. I would imagine a bit of resistance, maybe a bit of rejection, some acceptance, and a whole lot of learning.

Did not surprise me at all. I knew that perfume was hiding something significant, and her being a wolf was the only logical answer. My only real question left is how do they go about fixing Jada, since completing the mating ritual should have fixed Sawyer.

There are always going to be some bat shit crazy peeps butting in to the planning. At least your nutjobs are willing to pay for their insanity. I threatened my father, aunt, and 3 uncles the weekend before my wedding that if o w cross word was uttered about my grandmother's estate, I would throw the lot of them out on their collective asses, wedding dress be damned. One uncle looked at pop and said something on the lines of "she would, wouldn't she?" Pops reply was " I ain't gonna do anything to find out!"

I learned something today. Do NOT agree to transport horses to the riding academy in Brooklyn NY. Can't take the trailer on the belt parkway, and downtown Brooklyn is not trailer friendly!

I agree, keeping them talking is the hardest part! I think I got the record. We have known each other 44 years, together 41 and married 39 of 'em. But that is probably due to being older than a majority of you!

Fortunately I have never needed to do more at a brush fire than make firefighters drink and wash their eyes, a little oxygen here and there. Back when I was active they did not believe in cross training women, so I was always a support role. Eh, someone has to do the backstage shit!
