I want a job where I could be as wrong as the weather geeks as often as they are and make as much money as they do!

I take em all for a long drive, usually twice, once chapter by chapter, then a binge after you complete posting. I seldom comment now as I was raked over the coals publicly by an author several years back who felt I was out of line and lacked respect for the work an author puts into a good story. The comment? "That was an unsignalled left turn" or something similar. Cant double check it as they moved the story to premium.

Two cliffies in a row? Not nice Mr Gray! Forgiveness will be directly proportional to the outcome. Ladies and gents of the reader pool...as some of you are aware, I work with horses. As such, I do have access to pitch forks should Mr. Gray here make ill advised choices for our boys.

We have had an excess of winter weather here. 2 more inches and we hit the most snow in Feb ever on record. Odd that coincides with the busiest Feb I have had since starting this business. Loading horses onto trailers with snow and ice on the drive can be...interesting. Ever notice Disney has never put horses on ice?

All we’re doing’s jumping out of a perfectly good plane and trusting a piece of fabric and some string to keep us from splattering all over Colorado at terminal velocity. That's my line! I have long held there is no reason to jump out of a perfectly good airplane! Also, there is no way I am jumping off a cliff with nothing between me and the ground but a rubber band with a hormone problem! Ritch had a hard decision regarding Donovan. The hazing thing was probably an easy one considering his upbringing. Well done sir.

Could be worse. Last spring TP was hitting the black market. Good news is will get my truck back this afternoon. Bad news is both batteries needed to be replaced. 36 month warranty on the old ones. Guess when they were last replaced? Yup, 37 months ago.

Looks like I am home till hubby gets in to jumpstart it. Battery charger has not helped. Seems to be cranking even slower. Thinking is a wiring issue since the dash lights are going bonkers when I crank it. Sent a friend and part time employee to move the horse.

Fergus has finally lost it! While the pack may submit, they will never forgive. Doris is obviously the solution to the problems. She is strong enough to withstand fergus' abuse of power, will undoubtedly be wise enough to know what needs to be done, and the only question in my mind is what she will do to bring in the needed results. Well done sir. One gets the feeling the snowball rolling down hill is about to turn into an avalanche.

I just make it a point to prep for the absolute worst mother nature can toss. Then if a storm fizzles out, oh well. I didn't get caught with my shorts down. I want a job I can be that wrong that often and make that much money!

Well! Haven't you woven an interesting little mess? First Avery decides drugs are the way to Lee's heart. Obviously Lee believes he has blown it and the drugs are his eviction notice. The cop is not thinking beyond the immediate need to save Avery, and doesn't realize how big a shove backward his words to Lee are. Looks like Harlan is the voice of reason in this. Let's hope he has a grip on what is needed going forward. Isn't that part of the rules of life? Crap goes sideways, and sometimes the more you try to fix it the bigger the piles get. Just ride it out and try to keep it away from the air circulation devices!

This is why I often read the good stories several times. One can usually pick up nuances they missed in earlier reads. This is especially true with serial postings. First read often becomes rushed in my desire to see where a story is going.

Looks to me like a new pack is developing, assuming Jimmy can tag up with the old she wolf and find a way to get Sawyer and Jada fully turned. Patton isn't the sharpest tack in the box. I am thinking he was supposed to snatch Jada as bait to draw Sawyer and Jimmy into some half asked trap. She just has more backbone than that whole pack combined. You are assuming he had some degree of sanity in the first place. Cannot lose what you never had.

Now they done it! He may not be Jada's mate but he still loves her. Sawyer, and by extension Jimmy, will declare war on Furgus and his lackeys.

Ok, that's quite enough. It can stop snowing now. 40 hours and counting, at times as heavy as 2" an hour. It may be spring before we find the gas can for the snow blower hubby put by the front door so it would be handy when refueling is needed. We may not get snowed upon often but...
