Ok, it left out the quote! Was supposed to be... Ah, the Joy's of being versatile. I hate when my phone decides to post instead of what I want it to say!

The husbands handbook is very similar to the womans list of rules. Rule 1, hubby doesnt get to know the rules. Rule 2 if hubby figures out a rule, change it!

Agreed. When things get exciting at the barn it usually means something is wrong.

Also explains why he needed time away. We can be very distracting

So no editing for me with July's offering? Oh well, reading with no advance info is good too!

I would like to make a motion we invoke the "its 5 o'clock somewhere" rule and start the weekend now. Do I have a second?

Is it, is it, is it? I thought I still had 4 hours left! Dang time differences!

No cross up Reader. I was asking about CDB, but mentioned that I had wicked joint pain as a side effect from the metformin, and had to refuse to take it in order to get relief. Am now researching CDB as an alternative to knee and back pain. They tell me they can do nothing for my knee till I am old enough to replace it, and the odd way I walk with the bad knee causes back pain. I keep telling them I would fix the knee now and if it needs to be redone in 15 or 20 years so what, thats better than waiting till I am over 65! Not walking so good at 79 sounds a lot better to me than now at 59.

Does he find any side effects? Good or bad? All the literature claims none. Interested to know if that's marketing or truth. They really downplay the side effects of metformin as worth it.

Well done, but far from over. Readers, you can look forward to Carlos' next excellent story. That's about all I can say without him sending his brother after me!

Haven't, but am in the process of researching it. Also, if you are taking metformin, ask about changing meds. A side effect is arthritis like joint pain in a small percentage of patients. Docs tend to brush it off but hubby and I both had issues that cleared up quickly when we stopped and changed meds. In my case i had to just refuse to take it to get the doc to change .

While talking to the doc ask about non pharma anti inflamitories like cdb

Thats the problem with getting older. We don't bounce as well as we used to, so some things take up two and three punches!

Reflection: Commemorating PULSE
Kitt commented on Mikiesboy's story chapter in Reflection: Commemorating PULSE
I am no author or poet. Writing something for this piece was beyond my talent. What i can do is live my life being fair and caring, regardless of race, creed, color, or orientation. Here is to the day when whom one loves is no longer something to be ridiculed for.- 26 comments

Arthroscopic heals much faster than traditional surgery. I was swimming inside of a week after getting my knee fixed. Took longer for the bruising to fade than the pain!

You really should @Reader1810 . You pay extra in your rent for security. You are entitled to a secure building, and having people wandering at unreasonable hours is NOT secure. No harm was done this time, but ...

Night everyone.

If i am the most sane, we are in deep fertilizer!

Like the old son says Xander, can't please everyone, so you got to please yourself.

Hello Dahawk. Don't think we met before. I am the one who opened this nuthouse. Hey, have I ever claimed to sugar coat things? So, Dahawk, you will find me to be a straight forward woman who seldom hesatates to say what is on my mind. That sort of puts some people off a bit, but they seem to love me around this place anyway.
