  2. Interesting twist. Who was that stranger?
  3. Wishing you a long ride, good company and happy memories of a day well spent. Happy birthday.
  4. Happy Birthday a little late. Hope it was a good one.
  5. Thanks for the review.
  6. Since I clean cars for a rental agency, I drive lots of things: big Dodge Ram pickups, little Nissan Frontier pickups, Cadillacs, Infiniti, minvans, 15 passenger vans, sedans and coupes of all sizes. And yesterday, a zombie green Festiva.
  7. I've enjoyed reading the various prompt stories. Each one is unique. Thanks for the prompts and for reading.

    Chapter 1

A very scary thought. If they can manipulate genes to eliminate homosexuality, what about other undesirable traits? Could they manipulate the race into extinction?
  9. I don't know about a sitcom, but I'm glad you liked it. Thanks for taking the time to review.
  10. Beep, beep "Jim, are you ready? The youth center bus is here." Rudy yelled to his husband. He pulled on his yellow "Running for the Bus" tee-shirt and grabbed his keys. "They're late enough. Maybe we should just skip the marathon this year. We didn't raised enough for the new bus anyways." The LGBT youth and staff raised a lot getting people to sponsor them as they were "Running for the Bus" in the local marathon. They only needed another $2,500, but that might as well be $25,000. Jim stomped

    Chapter 1

Oops. I read this on my phone and couldn't comment then, but thought I did later. I loved the "courage to make a change" theme. It can be hard to try to change things. Billus recognized the importance of the talisman and gave her a second chance, which the elders were not willing to do. Also Matius gave her a second chance. Although I wonder if that was for himself, or for his brother?
  13. Yep I read and enjoyed it. Not your typical ghost story. I liked how you slowly built up to the ghosts....

    Chapter 6

I enjoyed the story. Not your typical gore/horror ghost story.

    Chapter 3

The plot thickens. I wonder what David's family is going to think when they discover the money is gone.
  19. In some places the laws on the books prohibit the government from engaging in commercial activities. I know of one town that modified their laws to take an old toy factory that had sat empty for over 10 years and make a small business incubator out of it.
  20. My thanks go out to my betas and editor Bill W and NostalgicLikeYou who helped or are helping me with stories. Especially with the newest story. But also thanks are due to those who encourage me to write, or help with a phrase or how a character would speak.

Thanks for reading and reviewing. I'm glad you liked it.
  22. one I've found absolutely confusing lately, Onsie. On the European side of the Atlantic it's a one piece pj. Here it's an infant's tee-shirt that has snaps in the crotch. What Brits call a onsie is a sleeper, with feet, or creeper, without feet, here.
  23. While I'm sorry for your loss, I'm glad she's at peace now. I hope that time brings you peace as well.
  24. When I was sixteen, my dad had a major heart attack while on a day trip out of state. I had the emergency cash he usually left me and some money I had earned babysitting, about $50 total. Dad was in the hospital for 3 weeks, and I still had that $50 when he got home. My sister and I would find bags of non-perishable groceries and personal care supplies on the porch when we got home from school. I would walk, since I didn't have a permit yet, to the local grocery store for milk, only to have the manager get bags of perishables, milk & meat, from his walk in. The donors wanted to be anonymous, and we never found out who was doing it, but we didn't go without.
  25. Interesting so far. Although I'm still confused. The story description talks about Adam, but the note at the bottom of the first chapter talks about a prompt. The four characters introduced so far are interesting. There is much hinted at in the interactions, especially between Cahal and his chosen. I'm looking forward to reading more, and learning how Adam belongs in this story.
