There’s a lot to do. I spend the following week making plans with the Aldecaldos, checking up on friends, and generally making preparations. I spend a few nights at Kerry’s place and he spends a couple at mine. But after a few days, I start to get the distinct impression there’s something he’s not telling me. He seems kinda subdued, but I ignore it as best I can; if he wants to tell me, he will. One evening, a week or so after I got back, I head to the mansion as normal, entering by the fro

Thank you! I'm glad you think it worked. There's a lot of info I need to weave into this story, and I'm trying to spread it out in as organic a way as I could. Exposition through dialogue, brief moments of introspection, etc. V's backstory is of my own invention, and even most readers who have played 2077 don't necessarily know all that much about the canon characters' backgrounds, so all that needs to be presented somehow as well.

V normally rises with the sun, but today he finds it’s already high in the sky and peeking in through the small gap in the tent opening by the time he opens his eyes. He’s naked, and his mouth tastes like dick since he fell asleep before he had the chance to brush his teeth. He could do with a wash, but for that he has to get dressed first. It’s days like these he misses the farm the most and its large boiler that gave easy access to enough hot water for a long shower in the mornings. Not to men

I hope you find lots of great stories to read here, and if you have stories to tell, I hope you share them with us.

Lol! Thank you? 😅

It's totally okay! While the majority of the stories on GA are about men, there are absolutely stories about women. Like northie pointed out, there's a lesbian tag. Bisexual too. There are also stories about trans and nonbinary people. Personally, I'd love to see more diversity, so bring it on! EDIT: Here's a link to the lesbian tag. One of mine is on there too. https://gayauthors.org/stories/browse/tag/lesbian/

Johnny stares out the passenger side window, cigarette in hand. The window’s down, and he takes a drag, blowing smoke out into the passing wind. He hasn’t been back to Night City in years, but now they’re headed that way, he can’t help but miss the place. He wonders how much it’s changed. How much the people have changed. As they enter California, they join up with another, smaller Aldecaldo group. There’s only a dozen or so of them and Johnny’s introduced to their leader, a woman named Yan

Johnny's been on the road with Santiago's Aldecaldos for years. Upon their return to California, Johnny meets V, another nomad, who seems to have a strange ability to put him at ease. When Johnny returns to Night City, V decides to come with. Johnny wants to bring his band back together, and to do that there's one person he needs more than anybody else: Kerry Eurodyne. Kerry, who hasn't seen Johnny in six years and is really pissed. This is a fanfic based on the tabletop RPG franchise Cyberpunk and the video game Cyberpunk 2077, but all you really need to know is the world has fallen to pieces and everything is owned by corporations.

The following morning, I wake up to Kerry’s lips trailing soft kisses down the back of my neck, and I smile. ‘Mornin’.’ ‘Mm, you’re awake,’ he murmurs. ‘’Bout time.’ The length of his body is pressed up against my back and I can’t help noticing how his hard cock is pressing against the cleft of my ass. ‘So are you. And . . . specific parts of you.’ He laughs softly. ‘Yeah, I think that woke up first.’ His hand slides down my side to squeeze my ass. ‘Need to fuck you.’ ‘Yeah?’

Glad it captivated you even if it wasn't your cup of tea. Thanks for commenting.

I'm always proud of destroying the work of shitty people. Thank you.

Thank you! Much appreciated.

I wake up in my own bed, for the first time in days. Nibbles is sitting on my chest, staring at me and demanding food. I pet her, glad she’s here; it’s so quiet. I’d forgotten what quiet was like. Panam dragged me out of Arasaka two days ago. We went back to the clan. Most survived, though losses were way too heavy. Mitch is alive, but barely. Basilisk fried his neurons pretty bad. We found a new place to camp, set up triage for the wounded. Gonna be a while before the Aldecaldos can head o

Honestly, I think Julio's a little exasperated with Bobby's constant quips and puns. It was more a case of, hey, another gay X-Man! But I'm sure they'll get along okay with time.

Thank you! I hope it keeps making sense to you... And you can always look up vids on YouTube if you're curious about something mentioned from the game. Thanks for reading and commenting! I appreciate it.

I've never written real person fanfic. All my fanfic is about fictional characters. Not to say I haven't written shameless self-inserts in the past, but I usually don't even use original characters. Part of the fun for me is to recreate the feel of a character someone else has written; to stay true to their personalities while putting my own twist on it. I mean, nearly all my fanfic is erotic, and nearly all of it is gay (I've only ever written one het pairing, and that's Buffy/Spike from Buffy the Vampire Slayer), but it really is more about the compelling characters than anything else. When I write a fanfic about two characters together, it's because I think they have chemistry on screen/on the page/in game, not just because they're hot. I also tend to base it around moments and plot points from the original stories, expanding on those, with a few notable exceptions. I like writing things that could have happened behind the scenes in worlds and stories I find compelling. Currently, my projects are a Cyberpunk 2077 fanfic about the player character V and the gay love interest Kerry, and a Witcher (as in the video games, not the books or Netflix series) fanfic where I basically just throw Geralt together with a bunch of male characters from all three games (okay, so there I break my own rule a little, but Geralt screws anything that moves; the idea that he's straight is ridiculous). In the past, I've written Marvel fanfic about Deadpool and Spider-Man, Daken and Johnny Storm (actually happened in the comics), and recently Iceman and Rictor (almost happened in the comics). I've got another CP77 idea brewing in my head... Yes, I love that game, I've completed it 4 times since it came out in December.

Named the latest chapter of my Cyberpunk fanfic after this song. It's so beautiful and powerful. Don't let the quiet start trick you; it goes out with a bang.

They call it ‘getting your affairs in order’. That thing you do when you think you might die, or know you will. I feel like that’s what I’ve been doing the past few days. Been meeting up with friends, calling people on the holo, clearing my calendar and finishing up jobs that need doing. Episodes are getting worse, closer together. Can’t afford to wait much longer. I roll up at Kerry’s around seven, parking my bike next to his car and entering the house unannounced. He’s said I can drop by

How did you come up with your username on here?

Back in my teens, I started posting fanfic and other stuff online under a username that was based around my given name. I went many years without posting anything anywhere, and back in 2012 when I wanted to start again, I decided on a fresh start. The stuff I posted in my teens was mostly terrible too. I wanted something gender neutral (I didn't really get why that was important to me at the time as I hadn't figured out my gender identity yet) most importantly, not too feminine. The name itself actually came from my original username on the Harry Potter website Pottermore. In the beginning, they didn't let you choose your own, to protect children so they wouldn't use their real names. You got three columns, the first two were words and the third a set of numbers, with ten options each. I picked thorn and wild from the first two columns cause I thought it sounded kind of magical. And I thought, that could work as a pen name. First it was ThornWild, and then I changed it to Thorn Wilde, partly to honour Oscar Wilde and partly just cause it looks more like a real name. I've been Thorn Wilde in all my online writing endeavours ever since. I've considered changing it. I've picked a new irl first name for myself. But I've been Thorn Wilde for more than 8 years now. I'll save my real name for if I ever get trad published. -
Editing this book has been a pleasure and a privilege. Lee's journey is a difficult and painful one, filled with obstacles; some of his own making, and some placed there by others. He believes he's undeserving of love and affection, but there are plenty of people who'll show him that's not true, if he lets them. And watching Avery grow and learn and come into his own was heartwarming. A wonderful story of growth and redemption.

I'm Thorn, and it's very nice to meet you too!

That's very cool. My sister-in-law is who tried to get me into it. She picked it up when she was pregnant with my nephew. Now she makes a living at it, publishing knitting books, primarily with clothes for young children. She's also a photographer, so my niece and nephew model the clothes for the books. Which is cool. I just don't have the patience to get good at it. Have I mentioned I'm in the process of possibly getting an ADHD diagnosis? Suddenly my life is explained. 😅
