Quite a bit better now, thanks.

Morning, everyone. Not having the best of mornings, but I've got a shrink appointment in half an hour so hopefully that will help. Hope you all have a good day, though!

Chapter Fourteen: Black-Eyed
Thorn Wilde commented on Thorn Wilde's story chapter in Chapter Fourteen: Black-Eyed
It did come with a warning, as Tim said. My characters are not my children. They are semi-conscious imaginary beings who do exactly as they like within the confines of the world I've put them in. I would have loved for this not to have happened to Nick, but it's the road the journey went along. There are two more books, so it's a long and winding road. But it will end happy, I can promise you that much if you keep reading. Thanks for making it this far. -
Time to get ready for bed. Night, DiC!

Morning, all! I've been out putting up fliers for my choir's flea market (which is how we make money most of the time) so it's gone four in the afternoon here. Gonna try to do a bit of writing now. Hope you're all well! I love Pixie and Brutus, @BHopper2! They're so sweet!

I like how all the words in the first and last lines are monosyllabic, while you have a six syllable word in the middle. Also, pretty!

Night, everyone.

Hey, everyone! Played my first D&D session with Rowan as a character, and it was so much fun! Can't wait for next Monday! Hope you're all doing well. Oh, wow. That was awesome! Thanks for sharing that. Literal chills going on here

Morning, DiC! I once again stayed up too late playing Skyrim last night... But at least I realised what I was doing and got my ass to bed. Hope you all have an awesome day! Top Gun is Paul's favourite movie... He likes planes and ships and stuff, which is cool, but still... Why? Lol! That's my favourite movie! Or one of, but definitely near the top. Need to rewatch soon. I've been thinking that for weeks, actually...

Morning! Happy Easter! And if you're not into that, Happy Egg Day!

This part. I think about that a lot, too, when people are being dicks on the Internet, whether it's bullying that I can overlook but would have seriously wounded younger me, or this kind of criticism which could easily dissuade a less confident writer from ever writing again. Which is awful. Never discourage art, ever. Ugh.

As I've said already, fuck those guys. You're an awesome storyteller. If they don't like the story you're telling, they can stop reading, but e-mailing you and telling you to stop writing is just being a dick. It's not like a person has a finite amount of creativity, you're working on and writing both, and not writing one won't necessarily make you write more of the other. Keep doing your thing! ❤️

It's such a tender, beautiful scene, first by the fire with the quilt and then on the cot in the tent. And that last part is hot as hell, too, of course.

Evening, everyone. Hope you've enjoyed/are enjoying your day! I'm about to get ready for bed. Night!

Morning, tim! That's a great word. Thank you.

Since words and language and so on is a theme here, I thought I'd share this thing I wrote after doing some research on the word Easter a few years ago. I'll put it here in case anyone might find it interesting.

Oh, I know. I've done that, too. Well, it was in March, not January, but still snowy weather. Not the greatest experience, but it was just for a weekend and I was drunk for most of it, anyway.

That thermostat sounds handy. Only have electric heaters here. Also have a fireplace, but firewood is expensive so it's stood unused all winter. We have no modern plumbing at our summer cabin. Just a hose that brings up groundwater. Just had a new outhouse built last summer, it's nice.

18, 19°C is good for sleeping in, too cold for being awake in. Gotta have at least 20, and that one degree actually makes a big difference to me. EDIT: I should add that I like it cooler outside, but I don't like having to wear lots of clothes at home.

Oof, cold. Get warm, Reader! ❤️
