I think we should as a rule make visiting old abandoned mines a red flag warning for kids, like don't take candy from strangers. Besides wouldn't the phone have been easier?

It's the initial lack of self awareness the dkstories main characters have in the beginning that makes them so compelling and Worthington is no different. Awesome storytelling!

What I appreciate most is the overall empathy the reader has with Worthington's confusion because there is obviously so much going on that isn't being said/written and we are all in the same boat. Thanks for the intriguing start.

I think only those who fall from grace truly understand the loss and it feels like Eddie's father is finally willing to attempt to return. Very touching ending, thank you for sharing.

While not a surprise hearing about what really went down between Eddie's father and Joe was important for Eddie as he tries to figure his life out.

If I only had more likes. I ran out liking one of your other stories. I appreciate how you are showing so many of the characters struggle with finding their beliefs and coming to terms with the prejudices that they previously held. Fine job.

This is another fun, creative tale full of political intrigue and fantasy. It's pace was a bit clumsier than other dkstories stories, but the character dynamics were so rich and the relationship between our hero and his lover were so solid, small things can be easily overlooked. If anyone on this site hasn't read this yet...stop, sit and read. Many thanks for sharing dkstories!

Interesting ending. I like the idea at the end that the other future was just too horrid that it had to redone so they could be together. It would be interesting to see how it turned out now that so many tendrils have changed. Thanks for the awesome adventure!

Micah seems to be consistently underestimated, the 30yo psyche in the 16yo body probably only makes it worse.
