  1. It's a sound premise. My sexual desire is definitely in my jeans.
  2. Steady on. Don't tar us all with the same brush.
  3. Many Happy Returns! The tardy one
  4. There are some truly 'odd' things that go on... Here's one of them. http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/uk/4996410.stm I knew nothing about Gor or Goreans before I read this. Now it makes me wonder: will John Lange (the creator of Gor) eventually become another L Ron Hubbard? Is this possibly another Jonestown/Waco senario in its infancy? Will I read the books? Hmm. I might, but then I think I'd much prefer to read Dio's excellent Grey Eyed Justice than end up in a seedy terraced house in Darlington. The Thiian Empire sounds so much better than Gor. Camy What is Gor/Goreans?

    Camera Whoring Kittens

Marina looks like she's about to turn into 'Superposs' and fly off to save the world. Butterball is obviously camera savvy and will probably end up being a supermodel.
  6. Congratultions! LittleBuddhaTW, M.A. Forget the pdf and go celebrate! Camy edited for awful spellink!
  7. There's a movie called 'Deep Impact' about a meteor shower and the end of civilization. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Deep_Impact_(film)
  8. Coupe byD'Artagnon can be found here Myr's Psionics corp is good, though not finished. Dio's Grey Eyed Justice is excellent as is Rob Hawes Replay and then there's dkstories's 'Mists of Fate' which is well worth buying. enough? Camy

    Woo-hoo!

Yes, short for amplifier. All sound systems have amps, some built in, some separate. The ideal is to have a 'flat' frequency response so that the system doesn't add 'colour' to what you hear. If you took your favourite CD and listened to it on 10 different systems it would probably sound different on each of them and that's mainly because of the amp... I'm getting in way too deep. My choice would be Beethoven's 5th then Floyd's 'Dark Side of the Moon' Camy
  10. Hi Nick, I'm really, really sorry to hear that your surgery was painful, though I'm sure it won't last for long. Not that I know what I'm talking about as I'm probably the biggest wuss in the world when in comes to pain, and dentists... [shudders, turns white and throws up]. I also want to say thank you for giving me your monthly excellence award. I don't know quite what to say except thank you. I'm honoured. Hope you're feeling 100% soon, and do vent as much as you want. That's what blogging's all about. Camy

    Online Rudeness

The number of comments or blog entries I've deleted are legion, generally because I get worried about my sense of humour. The saying that we (UK and America) are 'two peoples divided by a common language' it absolutely true, and our humour (humor - ) is different as well ... add to that the fact that it's really hard to judge mood, and individual tolerence from written posts and it makes your last paragraph absolutely spot on. '... think before you hit send!' Camy

    The Traveller

I'm reading 'The Traveller' by John Twelve Hawks. Fantastically frighteningly plausible. The concept is similar to 'The Matrix' in that he world is having the wool pulled over its eyes, this time by 'the Brethren' who are in control. Our world is one of many planes of existence, and only travellers can move between them. They are initially trained by 'Pathfinders' and protected by 'Harlequins'. The methods of control cited by Twelve Hawks are all real as I write, except that some are slightly more advanced. Cell phones let the authorities know exactly where you are, credit cards tell them where you are, what you spend, what you buy and supermarket loyalty cards that give you free gifts for points do the same. Passports carry all our pertinent data. CCTV linked to computers follow you where ever you go, and facial recognition software can pick you out of a crowd. Add to 'The Traveller' the recent advances in DNA, which can provide mind numbingly frightening data before

    The Cats who rule

Katy and Cody who's off on a mission. Percy and Katy sun worshipers extrordinaire. Katy in her most favourite spot. Put a box down anywhere and Percy will sit in it. A lot.

Ten green bottles standing on the wall Ten green bottles standing on the wall and if one green bottle should accidently fall they'll be nine green bottles standing on the wall nine green bottles standing on the wall nine green bottles standing on the wall and if one green bottle should accidently fall they'll be eight green bottles standing on the wall you have to guess the rest http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ten_green_bottles though wikipedia say sitting ... how can a bottle sit? I ask you. silly wikipedia.
  17. I've often thought that therapy would be wonderful. To be able to sit down and spout about all the angsty bollocks I'm going through to a total stranger ... then I'd guess you're told you need to go back, and back, and then it becomes addictive, and you need your therapy hit. Anyhow, I've never been (except to a child psychologist, and "they're different dear"). Can't afford it for one, and I have here. My GA blog. The bestest thing since sliced bread. So. On to relationships, and more pertinently the guy I'm in love with who thinks he isn't good looking, but thinks I am. which is sweet, except that I think he's good looking and I'm not. We both seem to suffer from an inordinate lack of self esteem. Both of us know it, and yet ... why do we still go through all this? Ultimately if we grow old together we're both going to end up looking awful and wrinkly and all the other things that happen with old age ... but doesn't love conquer all? Isn't that what it's all about? Camy

    Tempting Fate

If he really wrote the note so that the class gets to go to the zoo he should be rewarded, 'cause that's a damn cool thing to do. You should call him Robin Hood, and perhaps temper hell with the odd bowl of ice cream? Camy who doesn't really know what he's talking about...

Children are sent to try us. Not that I have any that I'm aware of mind you, but that's what my Dad said to me. Anyway ... I'm sure I had a point. Oh yeah. Maybe like Father like Son? Your writing rocks big time btw. Camy

Two days ago the guy I love said to me "When I first saw you I fell in love with you, but now we're such good friends I don't really fancy you anymore." We've had a relationship that has passed through seduction (he's 2 years older than I am and I was naieve), love, living together, living apart, and throughout it all we've had a solid friendship that just got better and better until yesterday. My heart is in so many pieces it feels unrepairable. I just don't know what to do. During rehearsals today he kept asking me what was wrong, if I was ok. He obviously doesn't realise what he said. Do I tell him he's broken my heart, or do I pretend everything is fine, or do I quietly let him go? This is my story and I want a happy ending. please. C

    Kitten Update

I think I'd rather like 'one of those aggressive kitten baths'. It took me several minutes to work out the picture. I'm guessing 1 mother and 2 kittens, one small and black, the other much bigger and cream coloured. The black one could be on top of another one. possibly. Dunno. Hard to tell. Camy
