    Chapter 18

Yet again I started one of your stories with other priorities in my life. As with your other adventures I have done little but read about Bobby and Tiffany and friends. Here in Maine we had an amazing family support their daughter and change Maine law. I think about the time of this story. Thanks again for disrupting my day. Pax. Ste.

    Chapter 18

The pace of this story like most of them is relentless. I started chapter one last night and knew I had to stop after that or I’d be up all night. So when I woke up I read until ten when I had to go down and feed the teenage grandson. But except feeding times for the boy I’ve been reading constantly. Painful, powerful, addictive, and yet another amazing story. Ron always brings me to the penultimate chapter wondering how the disparate ends will come together. But here again they are woven in a most beautiful way. I am late to the party but working diligently(obsessively) through. New readers beware. Pax. Ste

    Chapter 15

I’m addicted to your stories. They are often painful and have hard to get through places because they hit us where it hurts to look. Thanks for another strong hot and sweet tale. Pax.

    Chapter 20

Somehow I only found your stories a few months ago and found them addictive and interfering in my life ..in a good way. I can only agree with other comments about how topical and painful a look you have given us of our/my need for, Finding Good Trouble. Thanks for your work. Pax.

    Chapter 2

I’m a white male in one of the whitest states in the US. Thanks for your story. I’m looking forward to more of your addictive writing and the added personal weight will I expect add even more to this painful but essential look at our country. I recommend the 1619 project for a harder longitudinal look the not so United States. Pax. Ste.
  6. I just re read the chapter and wanted to Double dip. My Grandfather was a chaplain in that war. He had always had breathing problems which apparently were exacerbated by being close enough to the front to be gassed. He became the Episcopal Bishop of Vermont and during the depression put the diocese into debt running programs similar to the CCC and other support programs. He died in 1934 of pneumonia.
  7. Not only a safe place to stay but the blessing of a kind soul to work for. I am so glad I found your stories and have had the the pleasures of your globe trotting adventures. Thanks. Pax Ste

    Chapter 14

I usually leave hearts after chapters but your chapters and stories make that difficult. I think that is a sign of the complexity of your writing and a good thing. I have enjoyed finding your work and am reading my way around it. Thanks. Ste

    Chapter 33

Working through coming out, relationships, parents , and high school in such a well done tale fraught with drama was amazing. I am so glad I found your stories. Thanks so much. Pax. Ste

    Chapter 25

It’s now 12:30 am and I started this story at 8:30 am in the morning. What a well done story. I took in my first foster son 51 years ago when he was 16 and I was 25. I’ve had several other foster kids and assorted temporary stray kids in my house over the years. I also was a Child Protective/ Child Welfare Worker for 25 years. This story felt so spot on. Thanks for your work. Guess I need to read you more. Pax. Ste

    Chapter 3

Interesting how the christo-nazis seem to focus so much on the Old Testament rather than the teachings of Christ. thanks for your work.

    Chapter 1

Ha. I needed a fairy tale at this moment. Thanks for your whimsy.
  13. Oops
  14. Once again you are taking us into dark and confusing waters. Knowing you I’m sure it will be an interesting ride. Thanks again for your work! Pax. Ste

    TSA Chapter 6

Not sure how it would sail with the high hulls but that also helps with one of the banes of Cats: waves banging on the center cockpit. I’ve guessed wrong so much I’m gonna just read and stop speculating!

    TSA Chapter 2

Hopefully the other owners are there to help defray the thousands required for ongoing renovations, repairs, and new electronics and mechanics? It seems clear these “Partners” intend for the ship to go to our unhappy teen.
  17. I would suggest that a small laird in the Scottish Lowlands Would be a very low representative of that Empire. In most any small town almost any where in the world the landed or monied had that power in those days and still do more than is right. Damn I’ve caught up. Now I have to wait. If this was your first story it sure was a powerful start.
  18. You have taken us to some dark and tragic places in other stories and I have faith that you will move us and our boy to a good end. Pax.

    Prologue

The barbed hook is in my maw. Ouch!
  20. Funny I was thinking as I was reading the chapter that this seemed a bit less tethered than your series( I had just powered thru your last Puppy book) and how well you were keeping me hooked while being random in what you revealed. How’s that for a run on sentence. Pax Ste.
  21. Thanks for this addition to the Puppy kennel. I only just caught these additions and have enjoyed them as I’ve rushed through them. I do hope some day in the future you pick up the older dog on their journey. Thanks again for your work. Pax. Ste

    Chapter 1

As others have said this is another very special and fortunate couple that you have given us. I am amazed at how you have created your various locations so well. Your first few stories took place in parts of Vermont that I knew fairly well. Since then you have introduced us to even more new friends in more disparate parts of the world. I thank you for these geographical and cultural insights as well as these struggling and rewarded people. Pax. Ste

    Chapter 27

Will truly takes on the best of both Grand and Stef in this episode. I am so enjoying the return of these friends. Thanks Mark for all your work. Pax
  24. Gandalf

    Chapter 1

What an amazing fantasy. So tender and sweet. Thanks for yet another fine tale. Pax. Ste
  25. Back on the reread. Must say that this unusual first chapter makes a bit more sense to my STEM challenged brain! Pax.
