Not much new to add. Great to have fix. If it helps this chapter is right up there with what we like about your tales, Humor, human angst and drama. Wish you well.
You always have touched the sweetness in your couples what a powerful chapter. Especially enjoyed the slam on the Docs. So good to have one of your stories around again.
Another fine addition to these adventures. It is amazing how you manage the differential in real and story time so well. One moment I was thinking Casey would be in first grade by now in real time and the next you have fit in the hater candidates. Somewhat confusing but man what a sweet tale. Please keep it spinning for a long time.
Well you did warn us somewhat and none of your stories are fluffy. This has been good and I'll trust you to move all along with fine drama and probably a dose of angst. Thanks I think. Pax.
This is my second time through the trilogy. This time I was just as hooked as the first, putting aside obligations and reading till 1:30 a.m. On several occasions. Funny, sad, reverant and all around powerful I have talked about it to so many friends gay and straight. Thanks. Pax. Steve
I have just re read the first two books and just like first time I have been up very late this last week. Interesting that the Anglican Communion just sanctioned the Episcopals over this issue nearly 15 years after this was written. Thank God the Episcopal Church has moved well beyond or ahead on this issue. Pax. Steve
As always your characters pop. Thanks, I think. My nine yr old Grandson is autistic and already shows many of the same aspects. He also is becoming aware of how different he is. Will see where this goes but may well ask my daughter to read this. Thanks for another gift. Steve
Never has George used his familial and personal power to such rapier effect. Great chapter. Great Xmas present. Hope your Hollidays are/were well. Pax. Steve
Whew finally finished the re read. CJ and the team clearly are amazing. I have continued to enjoy several of the team as authors or commentators elsewhere but am concerned that CJ has been consumed by the Whale. It seems to happen here at GA. Wish someone would say he is ok. Pax. Oh I am mystified not to bump into comments by me from first reading which I am sure I made. Weird.
Rereading again several years later what strikes so true is the noise of a boat in a storm. Everything that can vibrate or crash or bang in any way does and this is aside from the waves. Glad Bruja is dead and our friends aren't. Glad I now know the ending and yes am glad to be reaching it again. Thanks. Pax.
CJ mentioned working on another story somewhere here. I do hope he reappears in the new world of e books he could sell I should think. Rereading Circumnavigation has me missing him and several of our wonderful missing writers. Are we sure there is not an alligator pond at GA?
I am sure I commented frequently when the story was being posted. Must have been on the forums. What i remember most from the story was the agonizing waits between cliffhangers(ha ha I can say it as I fear the Goat has fallen off one and hopefully a safe landing). The story sure does continue to grab and no the problem is stopping reading. I downloaded the stories and read on my laptop often without internet so I missed many of the pictures and map links which are amazing. Thank you again C James.
Even though I didn't come ou until the later 60's I some how missed out on your rollicking times not fair. I grew up in New England where we could pretend racism didn't exist. Even though my partner at the time(and again for the last twenty years) adamantly refused to pronounce his Franco-American name in the French pronunciation. Another great chapter. On to catch up on the next one. I am so glad to have hooked on to your adventure.
