You are very right Ray. When it comes to love and affairs of the heart we are all new at it. People who have been hurt are even more likely to be careful. Trust me. Older people are no better than younger ones at dealing with love. Roy does have friends watching his back. Thanks so much for a great review, Ray!

Thanks Lisa! Yes, Gastronomique is the cooking school Chuck is attending. That's right. I did want some ambiguity at the beginning. It seemed have worked. I thought a kind of sciency like observation of anger would be interesting. I don't know about a HEA for Marc and Peter. But, who knows? Maybe!

My favorite is Sasha Distan's American Songbook collection of stories. I think Nothing Town is nothing short of an amazing story but I have a fondness for Bright Thunder and the Tailgate one too. They really touch on my past and people I knew growing up.

What a fantastic and slyly provocative chapter. I. Love. It. First, you've got Jim speaking the truth and causing all kinds of controversy. Good. Some people are not happy unless they're indignant. Next, you have the guys and Neil learning more about his parents. Maybe a little over protective and biased but they love Neil. He is an only child. Finally the bullies find out about their target and the worm turns. Liam sees Neil through another set of eyes. Really great stuff Graeme! Thank you so much! Yeah!

I love you too Gary, and I'm not drinking! Haha! I'm glad it worked. I wanted to show another facet of gay life and how our relationships develop. That seems to be working. Many of us are wounded and it does take special care to feel and grow that bond. The guys are on parallel paths. Different sights but similar roads. I'm so glad you enjoyed it! The Snow Ball Chad came around the corner and ducked behind the customer service counter. Along the back wall was an array of homemade Christmas cookies and candies. He bit into a gingerbread man and relished the bite of the ginger and a hint of lemon in the frosting. Wonderful! It was really great to hear from Lisco's perspective. He's so attuned to Miah and Moshe, which is nice to see. I loved the farm scene and breaking opening hay bales. That brought back memories! This can't be it. There is so much "bonding" left for the guys to do. Thanks so much for more of the story. I'd like more please!

What a heart wrenching story! I was in tears at the end. I loved the wandering of Mal from the initial loss through the elation of winning the money, the new truck, and the tryst. It comes all together with Caleb and then implodes. Really a moving treatment. Fantastic Sasha.
