  3. Goats eat mustard?
  4. Thank You everyone for the great Birthday wishes. It capped off a great day and hopefully the start of a great year Thanks So Much
  5. http://ca.news.yahoo.com/video/us-4226713/sign-of-the-times-new-ketchup-packets-26682043.html
  6. Thank you for your honesty Lacey It is good to get a first hand account of your feelings about it.
  7. Please don't think I'm trying to derail this topic ... There is always more to the story. In this case, let me say that I am fully in agreement that the boy is being denied his right to use the gender appropriate bathroom. I totally feel sorry for this kid. The thing that is troubling is the hint that the parents are using a child to further their cause. If this is true, then the parents should be ashamed of themselves. The boy's father is his biological mother. His father began the process of gender reassignment shortly after his daughter was born. The child began identifying with a girl about a year ago, when he was six. Let me say that I have absolutely nothing against transgender persons. One of my best friends is transgender. It is the optics of this. Can a six year old make a conscious decision to change genders? What ever happened to TomGirls? How many kids have been labelled as gay at such a young age and turned out completely different? Too many questions, sadly http://www2.wsav.com/news/2011/sep/15/4/family-petitions-mcintosh-county-schools-allow-tra-ar-2416259/
  8. Wow. I know I'm bad for sterotyping some gamers as being homophobic with calling everyone fags, queers, homo's etc (yes, I know they all aren't like that and I said I was sterotyping which is baaaad), so I'm going to give them a definite on this one
  9. Dang it Benji Now you got me calling Ned, Nate. I'm blaming you
  10. Hmmm, me thinks this is a spoiler Where is Graeme when you need him We all knew about the asset list, but I don't recall anything else being mentioned about anything else that could ruin her. As far as I remember she felt the asset list would ruin her. Maybe I'm confusing what was written to what was speculated in the forum. Either way, Graeme, get your quill sharpener out and be ready I have to agree with you about the Ares still being around. I still of a firm belief that the Kookaburra is the Ares. Too much was said about how Nate can rebuild a boat and change the windows and such to make it look like a Lagoon 57. The only thing I guess confuses me about my theory there is the hull length (which, really, Trevor hasn't pulled out a tape measure yet and 2 feet in 55-77 feet wouldn't be that big of a difference), and also the hull plate. I believe Trevor mentioned that the plate was authentic and the boat did get made as a 57 in France. Still, if Nate can make the boat appear to be a 57, maybe he can make a plate too. Just wouldn't you think Nate would use that as bragging material; "I remember when I turned a 55 into a 57 and nobody can tell the difference' Too convenient for my likes
  11. Happy Birthday T.J. Sorry bout being late The reason was I was out all weekend celebrating your birthday Yeah, that's it All the best over the next year
  12. Sorry Marty, I must have misunderstood that last line. I thought you were saying George is being referred to as Bridget's Brother
  13. Sorry Marty, I am going have to say I have dismissed your WAG. Even if it goes against the idea of brainstorming Let's review what we know. Bridget is Bridget Bellvue, the window of her deceased husband Arnold Belvue. George is George Alfred. A senior detective in the Police Department. You could say that George is Bridget's brother, as that is what I'm taking you as saying, but here is the initial timeline of George being introduce to us: Chapter 20 Gonzales and George meet to talk about how Gonzales' investigation is going. Chapter 27 George and an unknown male pull up in the SeaWitch after a smuggling operation. George comes into the kitchen but the other male isn't mentioned again. Bridget 'kisses' him on his departure. Chapter 30 Bridget kisses him again. Okay so you might be saying well there is no mention of what kind of kiss it was. Was it a brotherly kiss, was it a friendly kiss, was it a two lip locked tonsil massaging kiss? Chapter 31 Bridget and George take the SeaWitch to the Bahamas to meet with Sanchez (the first time we meet him) at the Atlantis hotel to arrange for the first attempt to kill Trevor while in the Suez Canal. Chapter 32 Bridget and George finish up their meeting with Sanchez. Then this comment is made: Okay, that is where I disagree with you. Bridget and George are longtime lover's. The narrator cannot lie . This means the previous kisses that could be debated are obviously made in affection, not a family greeting. You could go and say that they are a sexually involved brother and sister, but sorry, that is just too Deliverance for me. I don't think CJ would have a sexual relationship between a brother and sister. So there is why I don't think that George is Bridget's oft not mentioned brother. I would be more inclined to believe that the other man in chapter 27 may have been, or the boat marina owner possibly? Just my thoughts
  14. Sorry for double posting but amazing what Google will show you Turns out our goat is moonlighting. AND....moonlighting as a Typing Tutor. So there goes his whole theory that goats can't type, heck they are teaching typing to kids Just maybe lose the accent CJ
  15. Daddydavek tweeked something in my memory . Gonzales and Henry are now convinced that Bridget and George are behind a lot of the mischief going on. They need the one final item to go to the State Attorney and have both of them investigated. I have a feeling that with George's snooping on the open computer terminal is enough to keep them in the spotlight. Now if I can figure out how they will know that George and Bridget are about to plant drugs on Joel and Lisa that can be traced back to them everything will fall into place. I'm sure Joel and Lisa's attitude will change in helping the Police and Jim when they realize they are being framed by B&G. Even if not caught leaving the States, Gonzales I imagine has a friend in a high place with the Australia Customs Service whom I would assume would be the ones detaining them on the Australian side Should be all smooth sailing ahead
  16. Nope, nothing amiss that I saw I am just going to say that I'm glad I finally guessed something correct. And thanks for another great chapter The frustrating thing is everything seems to be coming together quickly. You considering daily posting of chapters?

    Chapter 1

Wow Lugh You had me captivated from the first word
  19. :music: Happy Birthday Conner :music: I hope that today and every day in the next year are great Enjoy your birthday!!!!
  20. Personally I think the whole key lime pie is a misleading trail that the goat planted. It was way too obvious. I mean we like key lime pies up here and they sell like crazy and we can't even grow limes  Tell you what, I will bet my silence for a week that the key lime pie has nothing to do with Trevor's mother Back to my question on the two paragraphs, I'm hoping ( yes hoping) that Fowler wants it well known that Atlantis is in Ned's (yes Benji, Ned, not Nate or Nat ) boatyard. I wouldn't be surprised to see Basingstoke come snooping and hopefully fall into a well laid trap.
  21. :music: Happy Birthday Fishie :music: I hope you are having a great day and an even better evening planned Enjoy it, you deserve it
  22. :music: Happy Birthday Trebs :music: I hope the day was a fun one surrounded by your family Know that we are all wishing you the best in the next year and hoping you enjoy every minute of it
  23. Thanks for the chapter CJ Two paragraphs have me stumped. I think they are major clues left to us by the goat. What is Fowler got planned? Is he trying to attract someone? Is he hoping his mother's family hear about it? There is soo many possibilities. What do you think?
  24. Oooops, I'm late once again :music: Happy Birthday Phoenix :music: May all your wishes for the next year come true (just a day later than you expected them ) Have a good week and year
  25. So I will weigh in now with my Rose Coloured Glasses CJ, you know I have always enjoyed your writing and have been a fan since I discovered you way back when you were posting FTL in eFiction. You know that I hold you in the same regard as my most favourite authors, Shadowgod, Viv, Mike Arram, dkstories, Don Hanratty, Graeme, and others. What I hold you in highest regard though is that I place you in the highest regard for your style of writing. To put you up against a writer that focuses more on emotion, plot development, character interaction, scene description, climaxes, etc. wouldn't be fair. I think you would agree that there is no one that is perfect in all the merits of literature. To try to do so would be setting yourself up for failure. I know what you are doing...you are second guessing yourself. STOP!! Not going to help you, not going to help the story, not going to help your readers (aka fans) not going to help anyone. CJ, you write stories that we all like. I have to admit that I have really been surprised at the number of new people have signed up for the sole purpose to join in your forum. People who may have read before, but felt the need to take the time and effort to fill out some details so they can post how much enjoyment that you give them. Now is that what people do when you are 'average', or below the par? I have myself posted less in your forums, but still review them every chance I get. I read every chapter. I think my bosses would like to have a word or two with you about why I sometimes come in half asleep on a Tuesday morning because I noticed you posted a chapter at midnight my time on a Monday night. Life sometimes takes us in a different direction which we can not and should not change. In my case, new job, new city, new life. You had something similar happen with your bout with pneumonia. You can't change that. You have done your best to get back to your regular self and frankly we would have never known if you hadn't told us. Okay, now that your head is probably swollen to twice its normal size (and we know how big that is), here is my advice. Remember I'm a fan, friend and not an author. Hold the course. You are doing a fabulous job. We all come back for more and more so let that be your guide. Don't let the questions that bug all of us about our self esteem let you deter your course. I guess an analogy may be in order What would have happened if Trevor had given up and decided not to continue for Australia? Would he have met Shane? Would he have survived the Southern Ocean? Would he have survived the pirates? Would the trees have survived him constantly walking into them ? Keep doing what you do best. Writing :hug;
