  1. Thanks Graeme, I didn't know if I should explain that or not . BTW Benji, I have a detailed list of where it can be used, so it can't be used on those kind of purchases . Steve
  2. Congratulations my Echidna friend!!! As Kevin said, I too have enjoyed your posts, be it comment, feedback, humour, or just a general post. Looking forward to reading the next 1000 Steve
  3. Wow, take a couple of hours off the computer, and look what happens..... I also noticed that Shadowgod doubled his posting rate here just in order to help us make 400. What a trooper :2hands: So now that we have accomplished the 400 mark, someone has already mentioned the 500 mark, but we also need to do it in 5 days, before CJ gets back. Oh, and congratulations are in order for Graeme, for hitting the 3000 mark. I'm sure CJ will be proud of you like the rest of us. Only 97 more posts to go! Steve
  4. Just curious about something somewhat related. Out here in the rural less populated west of Canada (but the truth, Jack ), on average we expect to put 20,000 to 25,000 kilometers per year on our cars (12,500 miles to 15,500 miles). What is the average yearly milage that people put on their vehicles? I'm curious about different places in the world, and then how much a year they pay for their gas. Steve
  5. Hmmm, I'd hate to steer the topic to something that CJ absolutely hates.......but, hopefully he takes this as a public service announcement and not as a reason to come back home to the US. Goats BEWARE!! Steve
  6. Absolutely Hilarious you two, and I'm not even drunk like Graeme . Maybe both of you could consider co writing a short story or something, but give me a bit of forewarning, may need a bottle near by . The other Steve
  7. Happy Birthday Emoe!!! Hope you have a great day and many more to come. Steve
  8. Yummy I know some Americans cringe when us Canadians put gravy on our fries, but add in the cheese curds and you have a great snack, meal, or side dish. Especially if you let the gravy and fries melt the cheese a bit.
  9. Interesting, I just finished eating a poutine when I logged on and saw your post . If anyone has never had one, you are missing a amazing french canadian delight!! Maybe we can serve up some at the coronation party too ! So, do you think Joe will suprise us all by posting at 12 midnight on the 18th based on US CST? If so, only 3 hours and 5 minutes to go. Have a great weekend everyone. Steve
  10. Hope you find something quite eloquent for CJ's coronation. In case you don't, maybe we can enlist Kevin (A Friendly Face) as I do believe that he is a prolific shopper . Kevin, if you happen to need a little extra money, use my credit card and expiry date. Now no peaking except for Kevin. Steve
  11. Welcom to GA Lilytree I'm glad to see that your first post is to recognize that CJ is :king: :king: The Queen Of The Evilest Cliffhangers :king: :king: Make sure you stay tuned for the final annoucements of the where and when of CJ's coronation. If you can not attend, we will be hopefully having a live webcam feed . As far as the crazy part goes..... ! But we all love what CJ pounds out with two cloven hooves for our enjoyment . Feel free to post often. Steve
  12. Yeah, Yeah, Yeah, I'm double posting  . Just wondering if CJ will be quarantined for two weeks when he gets back to the US. Don't all animals have to be locked away for a specific period of time? Hopefully there is a wireless router in the detention centre Steve
  13. Well we're at post 325 with eight days to go until the goat is home. At first I thought 100 posts would be cool with no comment from CJ, then I thought "wow" we might hit 200. Even though we only have one post from him, I feel the 400 mark is attainable. There, I just babbled about absolutely nothing. Hopefully it helps us get to the magical 400 . Steve Hey, did anyone notice that some of the emoticons were missing yesterday and their back today? Wonder if CJ had anything to do with that too .
  14. Ditto
  15. Now we can't blame Joe. But lets just say I'll be disappointed if there isn't another cliffhanger in the posting of chapter 15 . Steve
  16. I know that we can see who is the top poster for each day (psst. Benji, your winning today ). Too bad we can't find out who has the record for the most posts in one single day. I imagine that CJ will easily surpass any totals his first full day back at home with uninterrupted internet access. Everyone should submit a guess on how many posts CJ can get in on one day. Don't know what we'll give for a prize to the winner of the correct number of posts. Hmm, maybe give that person the honour to stand right beside CJ and see his expression as BeaStKid "crowns him from behind" . I'll start things, and go with 48. Steve
  17. It's like the whole wide world is coming onboard to recognize that CJ is :king: :king: The Queen Of The Evilest Cliffhangers :king: :king: Yahooooo! Steve
  18. I do believe he popped in briefly and mentioned something about "Ack", "Queen", and "conspiracy", but I didn't really get a feel for how he was really feeling . Hopefully he got Shadowgod's PM about googling "queen of the evilest cliffhangers" and had the opportunity to search it out. Oh well, less than two weeks till he gets back . So should we push for 400 post? Steve
  19. Dang!! Still nothing coming up in MSN live search . Well, I guess we should be thankful for Google now listing CJ in the number 1 and 2 spot. Steve
  20. Hmmmm, I think I'm leaning to BeaStKid. Check out posts 277. 278, and 279 here: Since CJ's Away Steve
  21. Hey, here is some interesting facts about CJ's forum: The most posts in any forum for CJ was in "For The Love" with 63 pages of replies. There was a total of 1554 posts in that forum. CJ was the most to post in FTL with 408 being done by himself. That means that CJ had a total of 26.3% of the total posts. Wow The second most post happens to be here right now. So far there has been 267 posts over 11 pages. And the most remarkable thing is that CJ's number of posts in it is 1 . This means that in one of his own threads in his own forum, CJ is only maintaining a 0.0037453 % posting rate. Not even 1%. Who would have ever thought? Steve
  22. Whew !! Well, that wasn't so bad, was it everybody (thank you internet gods for the sparodic connection). I'm sure that now that CJ knows he has become :king: :king: The Queen Of The Evilest Cliffhangers :king: :king: he will come to accept the title with pride, honour and gatitude. I believe he is now in a bit of shock, and doesn't have the time or words to express his sincere thanks . Steve Oh, and I too will bow to the Queen
  23. Well it looks like I got the answer to my question. In typical CJ manner as :king: :king: The Queen Of The Evilest Cliffhangers :king: :king: CJ forewarned us that there would be cliffhangers throughout the forum, little did we expect in the announcements section. One more reason for him to have a long reign. Steve
