I understand a lot of what James has said, my first bf turned out HIV+, I experienced a lot of hate and bigotry in school...but a lot of good things happened to me too. Would I take the pill, no. I think of the journey I have taken since I was around six when I first figured out that I like other boys, to when I was ten when I found out what gay was, to the years of hardship and disappointment that I had in myself through my teens, then the living two complete and separate lives through my twenties that never intersected, to coming out in my thirties and finding that my family and friends didn't really care and being able to live one life. I'm not claiming to be an expert in the least. My newest desktop has Windows 8 and I've had it for 3 months now. I'm mixed on my reaction to it. Since I run dual monitors I don't have the ability to 'slide' items and it appears the mouse doesn't replace a finger. I really miss the Start button. I found the added search in the start menu in Vista was very simple to use. Now the charms bar I search something and sometimes I have to search in File, Apps, Settings. One short cut for easy access that I learned to access a lot of information (Programs and Features, Power Options, Event Viewer, System, Device Manager, Disk Management, Computer Management, Command Prompt, Command Prompt (Admin), Task Manager, Control Panel, File Explorer, Search, Run, Desktop) are all easily accessible by moving the pointer off the bottom left corner of the screen and right clicking. This has made some aspects of Windows 8 a bit more bearable now

I watched a whole hour show on the Discovery Channel on the meteorite and the asteroid which came in closer than a lot of the communication satellites to earth. NASA as well as others track asteroids that may have impact with the earth. The meteorite was a surprise, but not unexpected as they usually burn up earlier. Here is the good news, in 2004 an amateur discovered an asteroid and predicted possible impact with the earth on Friday July 13th 2029 (ironic, the Friday the 13th). NASA confirmed the data and agreed that it is possible. The bad news,they also concluded a 1 in 37 chance of collision with the earth

The reason I say that is the spotter that Bridget talked to was on an encrypted line, while Xavier, aka Bruno, talked on a normal cell phone to each of the gang members. This was all heard by the cell tower that the police had overtaken. At the new wedding location there is only 3 FBI agents as told by the narrator. Gonzales is ready for the bloodbath, the rival gang has been duped into causing the blood bath, yet Bridget saw through Gonzales' plan is now all we have to do is wait to see what Bridget has in plan for the actual wedding site. The thing is that she hasn't revealed how many people are there except for her informant that is now at the new site. One encouraging thought...Bridget told the informant to capture Trevor and Shane alive, the rest are collateral damage. So Bridget's people, not the rival cartel's gang members, are not to shoot either of them.

After watching the Superbowl this year, I just don't see why anyone would argue against a larger field which would make more passing (like the fourth quarter of the Superbowl) and more exciting game. One argument was brought up that players tackling would have more field to get up a full head of steam. I don't see the wider field causing that, or the fact that you have the fair catch rule which I don't think you will be getting rid of any time soon. Up here there is no fair catch rule (and an additional ten yards to the length-110 yards) but there is a no yards rule. Essentially the kicking team has to yield ten yards to the receiver or it is a penalty. Exceptions to onside kicks. So what do you think? Not going to happen anytime soon but would you like to see a bit larger field and possibly more passing because of it? Just for your info, here is the major differences between the CFL and NFL: -3 down football -110 yard X 63 yard field -defence lines up one yard back of the line of scrimmage -no fair catch rule (instead a ten yard rule) -scoring all the same except (which I'd like to change up here) you get a single point for missed FG -goal posts on the goal line -20 second play clock instead of 40 -rules difference making it much harder to run down the clock. 3 min rule should mean each side should have another possession up here

A slight twist on Eggs Benedict for Breakfast (and a great way to bypass the poaching of eggs!!) Scotty's Nest Eggs Ingredients: Each Nest: 2-3 thin slices Black Forest ham 1 egg 1 Tbsp. cream 15 mL (Half and Half works) 1 heaping Tbsp. grated Swiss cheese 25mL sprinkle of dried basil English muffin Instructions: Preheat oven to 350 deg.F (180 deg.C). Grease large muffin tins or use cooking spray. Line with ham and break egg over top. Add cream and sprinkle with cheese and basil. Bake 12-15 minutes. Serve on half a toasted English muffin. (Place water in any unused muffin cups to prevent damage.) Separately make Hollandaise Sauce to spread over the top. The great thing about this is you can make one, two, or up to twelve depending if it is just yourself or others as well. Quick, easy, and a bonus for anyone who struggles with eggs

My heart goes out to you Daphne and your friends . I can't imagine what your friend is going through and it would be silly of me to try to believe I could. Two things came to light while reading through the thread that you might want to consider. First is that this is effecting you and the other friend but not to the degree of the friend is the victim. Don't lose sight of your own well being. A lot of decisions will probably be made in the next couple of days that you may or may not agree with. Be supportive but don't forget that you yourself may need some counseling to negotiate your way through this quagmire of feelings and thoughts. Second thing, I know a lot of the bars here in Canada now have CCTV in them in public areas. I also know that GB also is the leader in the world for cameras. Even if she doesn't want to press charges or report it, a phone call to the pub to see if they have video of the evening in question could be beneficial if at a later time you may need it. Why I say sooner then later is that with the modern recorders, they do 'overtape' disc content after certain time periods. I can't help to think that there is something with the HAGgis that will be the clue that Gonzales and Frank will have lightbulbs go off and come up for a final solution to eliminating Briget and the Cartel in one swoop. If only there was something the would really anger the Bahamian Government to ask for help in the capture and deportation of Bridget to the US. Even if she goes to Cuba, I don't think the Cubans are going to be very cooperative to help out the US. I'm stumped right now Even if Grundig is part of Bridgets inner circle of contacts, he would be so low level, not much could be done to him to get to her . The only other clues that may help in the end that I can help to think may help is the viewing of the tape by Gonzales and Tittle, the brick of gold Arnold left behind, the doll left behind and the 30-06 rifle. Having the a similar situation here in Canada, with Quebec deciding on separation every so often, and nearly winning it the last time they tried...the government of the day created the Clarity Act to which they solicited the Supreme Court of Canada to more or less recommend the rules for deciding succession. I really don't know if it went so far as to say what debt, what assets of the Canadian Government, etc. would Quebec get, but it did state that 50% plus 1 was not enough to begin the succession process. Currently we have a 'National' party in Canada as the official opposition yet over half of their seats are within Quebec, so they are turning their backs on the rest of the country and proposing the axing of the Clarity Act and bring in the 50% plus 1 rule to appease the separatists in Quebec. I'm sure with a few Quebec members here at GA they will have an entire opposing view of what is going on, but that makes our country great, we can argue and still not be mad at each others
