After all Steve and Chris have him to thank that they are alive to have a sequel with them included Hellhound has an ominous sound to it. I would guess some characters could take that as a trip itinerary. I wonder if Bridget in her rage take out TFAE due to his insistence to call off the pursuit?

So that brings up an interesting point Benji CJ has often said the title is Circumnavigation is about making a circumnavigation of the world, and having Trevor's head mailed back to Florida would mean the title has been fulfilled. Well Trevor has already been back to Florida but I have the feeling the circ isn't done yet. It will only be when a crippled Atlantis is towed to a repair dock in Florida, then it will be complete. Anything else would be illogical

I still maintain his stories are all a little auto-biographical The reason he can't seem to understand that they are cliffhangers in his stories is that he knows how the next chapter will start and end. Thus, in his mind, there is no cliffhanger. Yet...the vast majority of his readers don't have that luxury so it is indeed a cliffhanger. Since the Cliffhanger Awards are run and audited by an Independent Autonomous Body here at GA , and it is the readers that vote, his crown as King of Evil Cliffhangers should be restored to his head in just under a year. No matter how much bleating and kicking and head butting he attempts to do.

So the Pittsburgh Penguins have made a trade that most in the hockey world thought they wouldn't be able to do, they acquired Jarome Iginla from my beloved Calgary Flames early this morning in the eastern time zone. This just after acquiring Brenden Morrow and Douglas Murray to their line up for the run for the cup. The question now is this the perfect lineup to win this years Stanley Cup, or is it a recipe for disaster. There is always a chance an 8th seeded team of winning it all like the LA Kings did last year. I have lots of mixed emotions of Jarome Iginla leaving from the Flames. I got to know him personally from the first day he showed up where he actually left me with a bad first impression of him. It took a few years of growth and maturity on his part for me to see and accept that the first impression was very wrong. Calgary is losing their franchise player, one that has been more to this city than any other player including Theo Fleury, Lanny McDonald, Joe Nieuwendyk, or others. I guess the most overwhelming feeling I have is that I'm glad that he will have the opportunity to have a chance to win the Stanley Cup since the '04 appearance against Tampa Bay. Wishing that the pride and joy of Jarome's pass to Sydney Crosby to win the Gold Medal in the Vancouver Winter Olympics to all Canadians, gives me hope that those two will continue their winning ways when paired up together.

The Goat has had a lot of cognitive therapy and other mental evaluations and sessions with Psychiatrists, Psychologists, Occupational Therapists, and Social Workers. GA has funded all this in a effort to get CJ to finally say to himself: "My Name is CJ, and I use Cliffhangers" We don't really care if he says it for anyone else, but until he admits it to himself, he, nor we, will meet or know the true CJ I suggest elctro shock therapy, electro corrective therapy, sending him to a Guru, a Shamen, even the Dalai Lama himself!!! Sadly I don't think any of them can help him.

I got an iPhone 5 about a month ago and really loving it. The only downside is I get Facetime requests repeatedly everyday from my Nephew who is 4 and my friends son who is 3 from their iPads

Good points Benji. I'm now in a mood to discuss . First off, Trevor has done something that nobody has done before. I believe the First Among Equals is going to die soon, from a blast from the 30-06. He ordered Bridget to stand done, and she didn't. If anything, I hope Xavier will survive and pass on the truth to the rest of the Cartel that Bridget didn't do what she was ordered and got him killed. Another thing that I did was looked up the track of Hurricane Dean. CJ has said he is using actually historical data and taking no artistic license to alter the actual track. So look at the map below. You can see that Hurricane Dean tracked along the southern coast of Jamaica which is where Atlantis and all of Cartel's boats are located. From the sound of it, it appears that the eye will go right over all of them as a Cat 4 hurricane. I know that CJ, the narrator said some of the boats were heading South or Southeast to avoid the eye, but at this point I don't see anyone getting out of the eye especially Atlantis which is now virtually disabled with no mast and the added pressure to find and save Joel and Trevor losing blood out of his side. Personally, it doesn't look like anything is possible to avoid Dean. To think the guys can motor into the eye and round the eastern edge and cut across north to Cuba seems impossible at this point

Sometimes when key characters are in immense peril or a highly tense situation (trying not to piss off the goat ), if we all beg enough, we might see a chapter sooner than later . Usually it involves people declaring that CJ doesn't use those tactics. (I won't say the word because I know it will become a new quote for him )

So like others, I took time to digest this chapter and calm down. As a side note, I want to say something about CJ When I first joined GA years ago and was reading a story by Shadowgod which CJ was helping with, there was a scene which involved lightning. I revealed at that time to some that I had been hit by lightning when I was a teen and the scene brought back some bad memories. Later, I did an anthology which was in fact a biographical one of the time I was hit by lightning. CJ has always taken this in consideration and given me a heads up before a chapter may involve lightning, I think this has been 3 or 4 times through Circumnavigation. The other day I received a PM from CJ letting me know that the upcoming chapter would involve some lightning and that it might be upsetting to me. Even though he has tirelessly worked to get this chapter out to us, he extended the offer to alter the chapter a bit for just me. To think of all the effort he took to make this chapter a reality and then offer his time to make a version that wouldn't be as upsetting for me is beyond what any reader should expect or receive from an author. I declined but I want you all know how much it meant to me as well everyone know what lengths CJ will endure for his readers I'm still digesting the chapter and to be frank, I am extremely anxious about the outcome of Shane. In the chapter mentioned that the bolt of lightning did mainly go out the bottom of the boat but do to the direct hit some of it went through the superstructure. Unfortunately Shane was in the bilge, not near the door, in two feet of water when the boat was hit. Although my heart didn't completely stop, my bizarre rhythm had me rushed to the hospital in a ambulance with lights and sirens and them sending my readings direct to the hospital. My only hope is in the fact that I survived this incident myself, so I'm hoping Shane will survive his own. I won't get into more of the chapter and discussion until I can clear my head some more. CJ, I am grateful for the offer, I choose to read it, and I am hoping that my hopes for Shane are seen in the next chapter.

Didn't Bridget say she would be on the water with her minions? It was the First that said he could do more from ashore then heaving off the stern of the boat. Dean took lives on land and sea around Jamaica.

Probably wouldn't surprise anyone up here Sadly, most of the time . Kick a field goal and get it, 3 points. Miss it yet kick it through the end zone it is a single point. The only exception is if you don't kick through the end zone (which is 20 yards opposed to the 10 yard NFL field) and you have a receiver in the end zone and they can run it out, then no points. Technical name for it is a rouge, so I'm blaming the French Canadians for the silly rule

Okay, here is my guess I'm going with the simplest, which is some times the hardest to see..... Hurricane Dean hits Jamaica and takes out all the cartel members including Bridget and the First among equals (2 or 3 are not joining the fun). Meanwhile off the shore of Jamaica the following distress calls comes in: So with the Cartel wiped out, and supposedly Trevor, Shane, Joel and Lisa all dead, we are all wrapped up Rachel and Dirk pulled it off, and the apple doesn't fall far from the tree.

Congratulations CJ on creating the most evilest antagonist in 2012 with Bridget!!! I've never seen such an outpouring of hate and disdain for a character as you have created in her in a long time. I wonder how much is autobiographical to you

I have to agree with you Mike 110% No matter what the Goat posts as his own 'personal' time stamp, the GA time stamp is what the writer support team bases on eligibility for next years award! I guess he has decided to go for broke and give us cliffhanger after cliffhanger until he runs out of them

For some reason, even though it is personal, I don't see Bridget getting personally involved in the take down. She has appeared when it was just her a couple of times (Julie's house and Geraldton), but most other attempts have always been from afar. Heck, she has Xavier in the room across the hall from Joel and Lisa's and their room is totally bugged. I just don't see her leaving Haiti until she is sure that her plan is completely executed.
