    I just looked thru 10 pages of listings at yahoo and didn't find anything related to CJ or Wildone. Same for Bing. When you stop and look at the topic that comes up, it was a topic started by the author to get Wildone nominated for the Award.

    Maybe he thinks that he repeats it enough, we will begin believe him.

    I see nothing indicated by MikeL to make it a cliffhanger. He's also reminding the Goat about posting the next chapter title.

    In a manner of speaking, the next chapter has been posted. I had it in my email box this morning. On another note, I've started to re-read the story. I finished last night, converting it to pdf format for my Nook eReader. So far it's up to 1362 pages in length and 825,655 words. This isn't the first time I've done this with one of CJ's stories and I've only shared it with one person, the author.

    Our latest heat wave has ended and today has been cooler, temp in the 70's, and rain off and on all morning. This weekend is to be in the 80's slowly building back to the 90's again next week. On a side note, here at work this week, on Wednesday afternoon we had a heat index of 104 inside. The updated ventilation system they installed last fall couldn't keep the building cool. Then again, when your pulling air in from outside and it's already hot, it's not going to cool down much.

    There is that goose, but the goose I'm referring to isn't quite as obvious. It involves what Arnold is attempting to do and the recipe, Roast HAGgis. Arnold is attempting to cook her goose.

    The first thing I told CJ after reading this chapter is the way the chapter ended, the "C" word would be used. From the last chapter discussion we have this from Wildone: Have you found the Goose yet, Steve?

    You know, when it comes to the hidden stuff, there's three possibilities: 1. Ned has had them for years, 2. the guys will find them, 3. Racheal found them and has them locked away.

    I had a thermomater top out at 98 yesterday. Currently, at 5:29 am est, sever thunderstorms are rolling thru the area. It's projected to 100 by 5 pm.

    It was too cloudy for me to see Venus cross in front of the sun.

    I'm with you on that one LF. I now have to wonder if Bridgett is using Mike to distract Sanchez in some way. If not, will the two of them run into each other? At this point, I think Mike would shoot first and ask questions later.

    Maybe I can explain this. For those who've read the story, your a little more attuned to it so you pick up on it quicker than someone else might. I'll use myself as an example of what I mean. I drive a 2011 Ford Mustang. I've also been watching Adam-12 reruns on Antenna TV (ANTTV). In just about every episode, I see at least one Mustang in the show.

    Basingstoke, even tho he survived his swim in the ocean, is a dead man walking. If Bridgett uses the phone number she was given and talks to Mr. Gray, that will be the end of Mr. B.

    I usually point out to CJ when I come across something that readers will perceive as a cliffhanger.

    I don't think Basingstoke is on deck yet. We've been taken a few times in the story to the bottom of the boat between the hulls. I think the bubbles in the water is a clue to his location. So if Basingstoke is holding on underneath, then technoly he's onboard Kookaburra.

    I'm still not certain what Bridget is looking for is aboard Kookaburra. Don't forget Ned did some major repair and remodeling work soon after Rachael got to Aussie.

    Generally, CJ's villains don't make to the end of the story. There's been one exception tho, The Scar, he was needed for the sequel so instead of dieing, he became disfigured in the first story, but was dead before the end of the second.
