I take the introduction of Keith and Jansen to be much like when we were introduced to The Shadow's. They were around for a while in the beginning, then they just drifted in and out of the background as needed. They will probably have some talent that we don't know about just yet that will come in handy When I read that statement, I thought, Oh Shit! What are you up to Eric? Those commercials are pretty good. You can get free credit reports, but if you want to know your credit rating, you have to pay for it. Jan

One thing that I've noticed over the years, the sillier or stupider they make the commercial, the more you will remember the product when you see it in a store. So guess you could say, there's a method to their madness. Then there's the funny commercials that get pulled because they offend someone. Take the Snickers bar commercial that aired during a Super Bowl and got pulled very shortly after that. Jan

That wasn't the end of it though. Imofat's joined to discuss something and the jerk went after him. That discussion involved an author who was posting a story very similar to one by Brew Maxwell. This issue would have been best served by the authors involved and not Imofat and the jerk.

CRVboy is staying around. Robb has reduced the number of Forum's visible. Now there's only three. F.Y.I Nick, I am a Global Mod over there. Admittedly, the site really hasn't been that active for a long time. Several weeks ago, there was some discussion going on about Driver's stories. One of the members, an a$$ IMHO, had been over to Awesomedude's and then posted at CRV that the members there were talking about the lack of sex in drivers stories. That wasn't what they were talking about at all. That talk had taken on a more personal side. I tried to explain to him that the talk wasn't about driver. He maintained it was, even after another member told him the same thing I did.

How do you expect to get paid, when you killed him off, not to mention your editor.

Now, there's an idea. And of course Aaron would be going with him.

I think Jim will decide on somewhere else. He doesn't seem the type who would intrude on Brandon's and Chase's moment.

I see we're on the same track, Tim, in what was noticed. But then again, they are rather obvious. It will be interesting to see how much of a part the General (Retired) has in this story.

CRVboy was also the home forum site for The Collision Crew to work on the round robin story, 'Collision'.

HAPPY 19TH BIRTHDAY JAMIE!!!

One nice thing about my vacation trips is I get to do a lot of reading during the daytime. There's not much to do while friends and family are at work. I managed to finish off dkstories Do Over series and started the Rich Boy series. It took me just a hair over 11 hours to drive back on Saturday. I had a nice surprise waiting on me when I got back. There was a For Rent sign in the front yard when I got back. It seems the old woman in the downstairs apartment moved out while I was gone. This means, that now I don't have to put up with her running water while I'm trying to shower. Trust me, I'm not going to miss that sudden blast of hot or cold water. Or her not checking her toilet after she flushed it and it continues to run for a couple of hours leaving me with low water pressure. Not even the landlord knows when her family moved her out.

One place I won't eat at any more is Cracker Barrel. That company isn't gay friendly.

And don't forget to have a shot or two of tequila while your at it CJ, and really relax.

We should have seen this comment coming. This isn't the first time he's done something like this. He does like to turn our words around on us.

I predict that CJ will be taking a break.

To me GA has more of a sense of community for me. I belong to Awesomedude also which to me is more of an authors site. There are a few editors there, but it's more of an authors site. There are some good authors there who's work may not appear anywhere else.

I have two cousins. One died of Aids, Unfortunately, he was disowned by his immediate family. I got to see my other cousin on July 4th at a family get together. A funny thing about my cousin Joe, his partner's name is Joesph, they have a dog named Joey and a cat name Josie. I suspect my youngest brother is gay, but it's never been confirmed. I also have a sister-in-law who's a lesbian.

No matter who uses something like that in a story, it's cruel to the readers. Not that we don't mind something like that. Look at the chatter it created.
