I usually shower once a day and usually when I get home from work. Given where I work, in the summer you can work up a sweat just walking thru the production area. Doesn't matter if you AP, you still sweat in the pits. There's been times that I've sweat so bad, I can't stand to be around myself.
It's been awhile since my last blog entry. I had an interesting email today from BD. I get a newsletter from them periodically. I sometimes will post some of the articles at my site The Talon House.
How good are your carb counting skills?
Take this quiz and find out... more>
I took this quiz to see how well I'd do since I count carbs as part of my daily treatment.
Breakfast: 1/4
Lunch 4/4
Dinner 2/4
Try you luck and see how well you do and post your results.
I know someone who can 'pop' it. He would take it in hand at the base, place the palm of his other hand on it then push in the direction of his feet.
He claimed it didn't hurt.
Great chapter CJ. I've got a funny feeling that Joe may recognize Dimitri. He may have seen him and Jerry together once when he was younger. And it was nice to see that Dimitri got to have some fun finally.
I recently worked on one for an author. In a few months, he plans to write another one from the pov of one of those characters and from an earlier point in the timeline.
There's a possibility that he may know it soon. Depending on the direction the Osprey flies, it could pass over, or close by, carrying Jerrys vehicle with it.
There's always the possibility that Jerry had some C4 stashed with the weapons that we don't know about. But it could still take a while for Dimitri to get back to plant it.
He could always break into a construction or mining company and steal some dynamite and a plunger, bury it in the access road to the house and then sit back and wait for their vehicle to come along and blow it up as they drive over it. He's also need to be someplace far enough away from the blast, yet be able to have a clear path to make sure he gets the right vehicle.
My very first computer only had 16K. It too had to have the program booted. I did find a 64K Ram that I could use to expand the member. Believe it or not, it was an Atari 1600.
Graeme makes a valid point about posting bi-weekly. Several authors do that. I could always look forward to new chapter from him. The following week, I could look forward to a new chapter of 'The Scrolls of Icaria', by Jamie. So when you have a couple of favorite authors at one site, you have something to look forward to each week. That is until one story ends or the other runs out of chapters to post.
I remember a few years ago, back in Indiana, someone broke into a neighbors house in the middle of the night. When the police arrived, they found the guy laying dead at the back door. The home owner shot the guy as he tried to run. No charges were filed against the owner.
If I could make a suggestion CJ, get as flash drive or two to keep your stories on. Then you can work on another computer. I do that for all the stories I work on.
All of my neighbors are a few hundred feet away. There have been times that I've seen as many as four others online at the same time as me, all just far enough away to show a weak signal. One or two bars with the occasional third bar. All have a secure network except one.
The closet neighbor to me is a restaurant/bar, just across the street. If he's got a network set up, it's not for public use, I don't see people carrying laptops in.
You should make promises you can't keep. I will promise you this, I won't make you any promises.
I have tried resetting the channel and it helped for a bit. It also seems to happen when one certain guy (or gal) is on. I also run a secure connection and I change the password often. I also think that most of us are using a Belkin system. The Linksys router I use to use just wasn't powerful enough to very far going thru walls. If I sit at the side of the house, the signal travels thru one wall. If I set on the front porch, two walls. The Belkin has a range of 700 ft while the Linksys was 400. The Linksys used a card and the stystem wasn't compatible with vista. I then got the belkin for the range.
Promises, promises, promises.
ROFLMAO. Stranger things have happened. Unfortunately, I live a few miles up the coast in the Philly area. As for computers, I use my desktop in the mornings, which uses XP, and my laptop in the evenings, of if I want to sit outside on nice days. It uses Vista Home Premium. The only problem I have with it is, I have a few neighbors with Wi-Fi set up and they tend to interfer with mine. I just turn the router off and back on and that takes care of the problem.
