Another fun chapter. Sunbathing on a sailboat while at sea. A night sky full of stars. Sign me up, too. I always enjoy and appreciate spending time with CJ & family. At the same time, I've grown accustomed to these folks from hanging with them for so long. I'm greatly grateful to you, Carlos, for the Prologue chapter to this story. It highlights how unusual and special their family is. It provided the perfect setting for this jewel of a story.

Great chapter. For a minute there, I thought we'd been transported into a Hercule Poirot movie, the part where Poirot gathers everyone in the salon and tells everyone what had actually been going on during the movie. However, it turned out to be only a partial reveal; tune into the next chapter. What a didn't-see-that-coming-or-that-either scene that was. Congratulations on your promotion. It is well deserved. I hope Nicole is gentle with you.

Another great chapter. I second what's already in the comments. I'm worried about Travis. Zach has already hit Travis twice. As Darius said, once the abuse line is crossed, it keeps happening. Travis is going to continue hanging with Will, which could be a convenient trigger for Zach.

Wow, what a tense and fun ride. Once again, @kbois is the rollercoaster queen. Wheeeeee!! "As they waited to make a left turn onto Tyler’s street, a dark gray sedan pulled out in front of them, nearly clipping the front bumper as it sped off. " Why would @kbois mention that if it was only a random car, along with Kaya having just been dropped off, unless the gray sedan was KH driving off? Could Huntington be tracking Sebastian, Elijah or Tyler in some way, and waited to drop Kaya off till Sebastian was close? Maybe he wanted to see how large a force Sebastian would send. Or he just wanted a glimpse of his opponent? (I think my mind is still in amusement park mode, now it's on the tilt-a-wheel.🤮)

Racism was a big factor in how long it took for Hawaii and Alaska to become states, as it now is a major factor with Puerto Rico and D.C. Alaska was initially Democratic for many years, partly in gratitude for the Democrats pushing hard for statehood.

Thank you for that, @Carlos Hazday. With the rising antisemitism and homophobia, it's once again feeling scary. I'd gotten used to feeling safe, not as much nowadays.

I haven't read any of the comments, no time for that right now. I apologize if I repeat what's already been said. Good chapter, as usual. Sunny times, then a tornado at the end. "C'mon, you all saw it coming like a freight train!" If that's what you think, you sure don't know your readers. Yeah, there was going to be a cliffie coming soon. That it would be this horrible, no way. This one was way out of left field. The twins were kidnapped when they were thirteen or fourteen, eighth or ninth grade, before high school chemistry or physics. I'm sure none of their owners bothered with schooling them. How did Austin get so knowledgeable and have such a clear understanding of the law of conservation of matter???

Zach has lost much more than just his relationship with Will. In a recent chapter, Will and Stef (I think) reminded Zach that he is part of the family and that they'd always have his back. Now he's been exiled. There have been other people over the years of the CAP saga who've fucked up badly and later been accepted back into the family fold. I wonder if Zach will get his head on straight enough for that to be the case for him, too. Although I think that's very unlikely to happen.

Will is already coming into his power at 17 in 2004. What a powerhouse he'll be in the 2020s in his thirties. I hope he finds a true soulmate.

Great chapter. I'm so glad you rewrote it, @kbois. Smiles, tears, a little tension, happy ending. Not HEA yet, but it's wonderful to see the first and longest abused victims having some happiness and the possibility of a bright future.

It's scary that he's a contender for being elected U.S. President in 2024, and what you described improves his chances. Sometimes it feels like we're living in a fantasy story, that this can't all be real.
