    What is the connection of Donald Cassel wearing Eddie's watch? Have I missed something there? The story is coming to a very intense moment: who's watching Riz? Is it an FBI undercover or one of the mob? Will he try to kill or hurt Roger from his current vantage point? It would seem that a small dent has been made in the child slave trade, but there are 2 more children saved. Powerful writing!

    So much to digest in this chapter - budding love, potential mob solution to Riz, discovery of the young boy, an introduction to Det. Ramos' mother, and the growing confidence and respect of Juan Ramos. I wanted to hit love, anger, but decided on WOW! Great chapter!

    At my age, I am not certain I could foster a child who has been tossed aside because of sexual orientation. However, I do what I can to support the community. To me, nothing is more important that making another feel wanted, loved, accepted for who they are. I tried to provide this in all my years as a school counselor and did accomplish this to the best of my ability. Now, the people in charge of government regulations would prohibit me from advertising my office as a safe space, from discussing the sensitive topics of sexuality, and from even referring to a teen by their chosen names! I'm so glad I retired when I did! Samantha's article should appear in its message in every news outlet on a regular basis.

    I'm really appreciating the growing relationship between Ralph and Nolan! It is so natural and supported by the twins and his work mates. The twins are delightful, if not naturally curious and, at times, a bit over the top, lol! Ralph's attentiveness to their needs and care is wonderful! And Nolan fits right in without any jealousy! It is nice to just slow down and enjoy a weekend before stuff hits the fan once again!

    I feel as though I am reading a Clancy-like structure - several stories going on at the same time that will come together at the end in a connected manner. Well done, indeed!

    Is it just Andreas and Jackie who are involved in this "project", or are there others playing parts? Jackie was definitely a user when it comes to Ludo and Damian: they were just there to provide her with an image. Evil in the form of greed, selfishness, and amorality define Jackie!

    Bipolar disease does happen in children but usually isn't recognized until into adolescence or later. As a counselor, I have dealt with students and referred them for professional assistance, knowing that at best, it might be tempered but not cured. My best friend was bipolar and died in an auto accident. Reading this has brought back memories - good ones, thankfully, though I did see the low side. Wonderful and masterful writing, @CasualWanderer82.

    I can definitely see Toby and the girls developing a friendship over mutual outdoor interests. Toby will be able to expand the girls' interests in bugs and plants. The photo shoot will definitely be interesting for all the reasons cited in other comments. And a possible foursome? Or maybe even a five-some with Russ Kahn? My mind is blowing up!

    Finding good guys is not always easy, but Roger knows both sides and has pointed Juan towards those he can trust. It's true that it is in who you know that counts! Roger buying the house for Thomas is a wise move - Thomas will make out well when things settle. His trust in Roger is now fully cemented. I'm eager to see young Rizzo meet his come-uppance!

    With mob entanglement now, I'm sure there will be some twists and turns which will make the story even more interesting than it already is! So much going on...I was torn between love and wow as far a emojis. This is quite intriguing!

    So many philosophies try to answer the basic question you have posed: what happens at the end of this life? End, beginning of another, reincarnation, resurrection to a new form, lights out.... Thanks for your question and possibility... the journey either ends or continues in another form. Guess we'll all find out at some point!

    This is a wonderful story about a man with the ability to see auras around people which can tell him whether they are well, sick, lying, or in danger. He uses this knowledge in ways that are "inappropriate" when he is young to majorly assisting him in his work as a lawyer/politician. Additionally, his talents lead him to unexpected jobs with interesting consequences. Lee Wilson's ability to weave an interesting and gripping tale will keep an reader looking forward to the next paragraph, let alone a sequel.

    @empath says: I think I could spend 10 more chapters digging into the characters, telling how they got here and setting the stage for where they are going. I won’t though (one more chapter should get us through [the day] I think). I certainly wouldn't mind an additional 10 chapters! This story is so riveting! Would that parental love would be so open to change! What a world of difference it would make for children! Imagine, parents loving children for who they are rather than who they have envisioned them to be! Of course, that would also require parents to encourage and promote ethical and moral personal and social mores!

    I can believe that Jackie truly had no real love for either Ludo or Damian - maybe "warm feelings" at best. Her first love is herself and what she feels she deserves from life. Ludo is truly a victim but a superb parent! His interaction with Damian is always based on truth, trust, and respect in regards to Damian's age. That will always serve him well in their relationship. Arthur is a great partner. That they can discuss openly their past relationships and history without judgment is only serving to build a solid relationship. The local police are doing their job, but seem inadequate with technology. This could lead to false conclusions. Again, masterful writing! I agree with @damejintymcginty - another 200 chapters would be a good start, lol!

    Wonderful chapter...there was a whole section of statements made by Mr. Cicero that should have been objected to as "having no foundation" but still made for good courtroom drama with the appropriate ending.

    Wow, wow, wow! Powerful chapter...my anxiety level went up ten-fold! I can't even imagine a time when the defense budget would be so slim as to not be able to counter such an invasion (even in an idealistic situation). How long till the next chapter?

    It has taken time for Ralph to stand up for himself, but he did so respectfully and solidly. His father did listen to his wife in determining whether to help Nolan and Verne with pointers. Perhaps they will slowly come around eventually (though doubtful) and accept Ralph, Nolan and the girls for who they are.
