Ah....that first encounter with a dating app...and at 18! Luke's assumption that Owen would jump at his offer is not surprising, but insensitively forward and only looking for a physical relationship when Owen stated up front that he was looking to talk mostly. However, as a foray into the dating app world, Owen will find that he simply can ignore or block certain conversations.

Ximo's mother is too self-important and domineering! His father needs to knock her down a peg or two unless he is reliant on her parents' money. He does seem very accepting and supportive of Ximo, surpisingly so to Ximo. -

I found this a delightful chapter - Evan can be overbearing too, but he has very good intentions. Neil is getting more comfortable in his relationship and in himself. Alex's mother will be interesting to watch as she deals with Neil's mother! -
P.S. I loved that Noah's therapist is named Dr. Adler: my training as a counselor was greatly influenced by Adlerian psychology!

I find it fascinating that the term "Christian" is bandied about without any focus on the teaching of Jesus, but rather the cherry-picked verses from the Hebrew Scriptures and of Paul, who believed all should practice celibacy unless they were overwhelmed with horniness that they couldn't control themselves and focus on what Paul believed was the imminent return of Christ. There are other Christian denominations surely in Australia that have more accepting views in regards to sexuality - at least I hope so! Matt is showing Levi unconditional love that is more God-like than what he has experienced via his church. That will be the basis for Levi growing beyond his current beliefs.

I especially chuckled when I read the name of the therapist (Dr. Adler). My training in counseling centered on Adlerian psychology.

Such a powerful story that involves the effect child molestation/abuse produces and what brings about the breaking away from it because of the selfless act of placing bandaids on a scuffed knee. So superbly written that follows the journey from the prison created for the child (Noah) and the person responsible for letting him experience acceptance, respect, and unconditional love via his first real friend (Colt). A must read!

There's just too much "coincidence" involved for another "accident" to occur without linking the dots together. Do they not think there may be CCTV evidence from the junkyard? This seems like naive teenage thinking. IF this continues, there will be trouble either from others or from Colt finally not being able to live with his own conscience.

Grief and moving on after the death of a parent (or anyone close, for that matter) is portrayed so accurately and sensitively in this chapter! Levi is being thrust into a big unknown but starting to realize he is surrounded by people who do care for him!

While a "slow burn" in the relationship, nonetheless, it is progressing and deepening beautifully. No child has an obligation to produce grandchildren; should that occur, wonderful, but never an obligation! After all, only monarchs hold such obligation rules!

Since I live close to DisneyWorld, I would have loved to have met with them, lol! They are in a different financial league than I, but they seem to be very warm and open to all people! Love this story!

Would that the sheriff might get a noise complaint and show up at his house! Would he approve? And all this sneakiness of the kids - I would have gone ballistic on my own son if he had done this - and he knew it! I always demanded honesty from him and I got it - not that I always liked what I heard, but it came from his lips and not from others'. Anyway, Colt and Noah need to confront what they did for their own benefit and ditch Noah's plans for George!

Michelle is very perceptive and very loving of Colt. I hope she does pressure him into spilling what he knows and she can make an appropriate decision on how to stop George! It is my hope that Colt's conscience is more powerful than his "loyalty" to Noah.

I understand Noah's desire to murder George, but let's hope Vincent can help him change that view. We're dealing with two young teenagers whose brains haven't fully formed yet. They don't need to spend the rest of their lives in prison for an immature decision. They need to let an adult know what's going on!

Siblings often argue and fight, but don't let anyone else fight with them and they become protective. Perhaps Rylee actually could be supportive of her brother! We'll see!! Colt does need to talk with his mother.
