What little interaction I have with AI currently (mainly the ones who answer phone calls to various services such as doctor offices, 'customer service' (a joke), etc), I have not been impressed. I have friends who work with it daily and consider it a very helpful and needed tool. I'm open to reading a story about how it could help us rather than destroy civilization or replace humans altogether. Of course, if it's a story by @Wayne Gray, I'm on board already!

Miles has not let his inheritance to stray from his real values and his dealing with his own issues. His loyalty to Robbie is admirable. I truly love this story! I'm eager to see the forthcoming chapters!

I do love this story. The place sounds perfect for the varied interests and needs. Encouraging Toby to continue his interest in all things natural may well help him determine his future occupation and studies. Russ should be able to finance the remodel on his portion. -
If the school knew of the hazing rituals, shame on them for not interfering. However, I know this would not push forward the story. I just hate all hazing rituals. The rituals described here raise the questions about Carl and his own self-image. Bullying, though despicable, exists everywhere in many forms. I'm glad Kurtis used his training for the purpose it is intended.

And here is the raw truth of the brilliant writing that @kbois has done in this story: The characters must "speak" to the author in order that authentic dialogue can be done as it has been between Miles, Erik and Troy especially. @chris191070 pointed out: Owen left the relationship long before Troy even encountered Miles in Scotland! Emotional cheating or true realization of their relationship? This was one powerful chapter!

Oliver and Julian really clicked! Great conversation, enjoyable eating, lots of sex and desire for more interaction! Another great Hugill story!

Feelings are there for sure, but could they actually be happy together with their different interests? I guess we'll find out as the story progresses... Very captivating!

I have totally enjoyed this volume of T'ville tales. I do look forward to future volumes, but am comfortable with the open ending to this one - it allows us to wonder and hope for future volumes! Excellent writing and story telling, @Mark Ponyboy Peters.

Julian and Cliff have a relationship based, it seems, only on their shared uni experiences. With Garry in the picture, that relationship may wain... However, his relationship with Oliver is certainly gaining heat! I simply love how @Robert Hugill creates such descriptive scenes such that they seem so realistic!

Stephanie is reacting in a very aggressive manner but I do believe that under that mantle of bitchiness is a fear-filled girl with very low self-confidence. Hopefullly, Cynthia's father is not a fire-and-brimstone preacher but one who lives a gospel-like love of people.

I'll disagree with @Summerabbacat on one minor point: I don't think Jay is a jerk. Rather, he is oblivious to Taylor's feelings and is simply behaving in the manner that they have always (up to now) behaved. Stephanie is a possessive girl who has her own agenda for Jay. A bitch - yep! But again, a normal teen girl. Of course, Tay's parents know their son - it's his fears and negative self-talk that are preventing him from opening up to them. It will most likely take a crisis for Taylor to finally spill the beans and realize he is still loved and supported by them. Jay is going to be put off initially (I hope only) but may come around to redefine the friendship. Great story telling.

As a retired teacher/counselor, I abhor any acts of hazing. The gym teacher should be fired for allowing such behavior. Now that I've said the things that irked me greatly, I will say this is a good story and I'm looking forward to Kurtis taking care of Ozzie in a total takedown! I do hope the Major does get knowledge of the behaviors at the school and "handles" it.

I believe Troy's thought at the beginning was a foreboding prediction that all is not well in the relationship. I, too, wonder what all the overtime meetings that Owen is attending is school related. Troy is rekindling feelings for Miles. He's either going to succumb to feelings or at least check his focus. Big decisions are forthcoming as @kbois treats us to another well presented story!

What a difference a caring teacher can make (and does make to thousands of students daily!)...but it really disturbs me that Taylor has no trust in the school counselor: I retired after 36 years as a counselor and know what confidential means.

After spending half of my Christmases in the frigid northern U.S., I rather enjoy the warm, green Christmas in Florida. It is a total change in my experience but I can relate to a warm Christmas as summer in Australia! This was a wonderful warm chapter: Levi's reflections, Matt's embracing him and the wonderful words he uttered, Luke making Jamie laugh, the total acceptance of the grandparents... I really love this whole series, but this volume speaks loudly to me. Thanks @Mark Ponyboy Peters.

I've had a super long day and just got home so I could read this before I succumb to the need for sleep. There is nothing I can add. As having lived in Florida for nearly 40 years now, you have captured some truisms about Florida guessing from your time here too.

I've always had the inkling that Casey was abused and taking it out on others. However, that would have to be exposed. Possible that he was sent to a military school? Not likely per the reputation of the Thompsons. Levi has done the hard part for him: telling the full truth. Now, there will be the inevitable consequences. Like @Philippe who said the following: "That dog barking, then quieting and the coincidental car driving past just may be coincidental, but it still gives me that closing unease and a quiet cliffhanger to what lies beyond the family conversation." I ended with a very uneasy feeling. Hope it's nothing...

I have owned 4 places - the last two being condominiums. I just remodeled one of the condos and moved. Every place had pros and cons, but with every one, there was a feeling that this could work. That was the test for me. I'm possibly more selective now but hope I never have to move again! They need a place that works for all of them and I'm sure will find it.
