  1. Ahhh, let me weigh in on this one... Or perhaps I'd best save that gun for later? I'll leave with one hint... 14 days to go.... ROFL! Well, mine vary, though 5k is my minimum unless I post two chapters at once. I certainly second the motion! We need a new chapter of Dreams & Cliffed Wings! I suspect, though, that the shadowy one has much trouble in store for Cody! BTW, I suspect a shadowy entity has edited your post, Benji! He's no doubt concerned that the more correct version of the title will reveal too much about the utterly diabolical cliffhanger he has planned for chapter 9!
  2. This is wonderful news! Dreams of Humanity is a superb story, one of the best sci-fi's I've ever seen.
  3. Review by TL The Writing Tiger On the edge of society and worrying about staying alive is an adequate description of this one. The character is seeking refuge, using masks and shadows to hide. Will he survive, or will he pay the price? I was definitely intrigued by the format. I was on the edge, wondering what delights and woes the journal would reveal unto me. This one is deliciously dark. Read it if you dare!
  4. Review by TL the Writing Tiger Rarely does a story move me to tears. In fact this story is one of only two on GA with such an exception. The subject hits so close to home. That could have been me. So many teens suffer from depression, especially those living with secrets they do not want their parents to know. There use of foreshadowing in the story was magnificent. Some might not pick up on the clues to the reasons, but I did. I look forward to reading more of his stories in the future. Excellent work!
  5. Review by TL the Writing Tiger The streets of Melbourne make life tough for the teens working its streets. The boys have difficulties to face, struggles that will change them forever. I enjoyed the story immensely. From the beginning, I wanted things to be better for the characters. Through the turbulence and hospital visits, I felt a growing sense of compassion and empathy for them. Will their dreams of better lives reach fruition?
  6. Review by TL The Writing Tiger This is a good story about coming to terms with a variety of situations in one
  7. Review by TL The Writing Tiger The rural desert can be a lonely and unforgiving place. This story is a reminder of why we should take action and not remain silent when others face great peril. The ending definitely reinforced my belief in speaking out. I enjoyed the story. The scenery really accentuated the events of the story quite well. The story was well-constructed and definitely one I suggest reading if you don
  8. Review by TL The Writing Tiger This is a truly beautiful poem about struggling through life until you find the other half of your soul. Call me a helpless romantic, but I thought it was one of the most beautiful poems I have ever read.
  9. Review by TL The Writing Tiger This is a rather eerie tale of woe. Sometimes life has some unexpected twists, and the safety net of home is gone. I found myself wondering when the poor boy would be well enough to find a way out. Overall, the scene of the story gave me a sense that the place was a most unpleasant and scary place to be. The ending was indeed satisfying.
  10. Thanks to TL The Writing Tiger for the following review; This is a truly amazing story. I thought it was an excellent story for the theme. It is also a great exploration of a time when people did not accept people for their sexuality and the world of transvestites. I thought the love scene was nicely done. I felt as if I were there feeling every moment of the passionate kissing. I could also sense the character
  11. The chapter is up.
  12. I was busy with the anthology, but I'll get the chapter announcement up and my sig edited within a few minutes.
  13. Yes, it was you who made me do it, so as I have said all along, the devil made me do it! And yes, two weeks until the you-know-what. Lol... But Gary, in an action/adventure story, there are always little uncertanties (such as rouge nuclear projects) hanging over the thread. It's not as if I'm using nuclear-powered cliffhangers. :nuke: CJ
  14. Maybe we get to see Jerry's fun-loving side? Ahh, but that wasn't due to Tequila! As for Eric and Jerry's tequila drinking, it's all in chapter 32. And BTW, in case Graeme thinks that is a spoiler, it's not, becuase Chapter 32 is a posted chapter.
  15. But everyone knows I never use cliffhangers? Sacha? Help!!!
  16. Well, all that happened is that Jerry and Eric are having a nice, friendly drink of tequila together. See? Eric is safe and sound, so SPiCE has nothing to worry about.
  17. Agreed, we must take action, becuase otherwise poor Cody will be put through utter hell by a certain Dark Deity. Poor Cody; emotional issues, that horrible letter from his dastardly mother, and let's not forget the eeevil cliffhangers! So, what action should we take? The conspiracy is underway!!!
  18. I hope y'all are better at chapter estimates than me. My prediction for LTMP was 15 to 18 chapters. I might have been a tad off.... I'll go ahead an make my prediction for DnCW: 50 chapters... But maybe that's just wishful thinking.
  19. HA! Your very name, Shadowgod, is synonymous with the Lord of Darkness, and Satan's many other names! And for proof of true evil, i merely refer the reader to LiS 26. For further, more current proof of evil, there is THE infamous letter! Poor Cody!!!
  20. Now, now, oh evil one, that's not quite true... It is entirely possible that before LTMP is over, I might admit to a little cliffie in it. BTW, I've gotta say, "The Devil made me do it". Yep, it's Shadowgod's fault. I have been known to admit to, on rare occasion, and ever-so-slightly tense chapter ending. I think the last one was on Christmas Eve, LTMP 19. Tim, you're wrong! I most certainly can do that! In fact, I'll do so now: I do hereby admit that Tim used an evil cliffhanger! Uhoh! Don't give them ideas! CJ
