I'm with LadyDe and LitLover that bit was definitely good. But I really liked the part where Damien finally realises Kay can't be wrapped in cotton wool. He realises that he has no say really in Kay continuing to train. Great chapter

I'm glad Damien apologised to Finn, it takes a strong person to admit when they're wrong. Damien can't afford any more 'What if's'. That will only lead to more guilt. He needs to get his head in gear and find Kay. Then of course he can start begging and grovelling. Onward

The hunters are just digging in deeper. The last part where Kay realizes he belongs with Damien not with the hunters was great. I expect the hunters are in for one hell of a surprise!!!!

Those Hunters don't know what they're doing to themselves, they've signed their own death warrants. Also, one called Kay a tiger? Well you know what they say about disturbing a sleeping tiger!!! Plus Damien will be beside himself that he didn't go earlier to bring Kay back, hindsight is always twenty-twenty.

If Oliver doesn't want to punch Damien, I'll be glad to do it for. Or maybe a foot/knee somewhere might get his attention??? Loved the way everyone sided with Kay (as they should, Damien was being an idiot) but something tells me Brenner will regret stopping Damien from going after Kay. Just like he did in the first story. Onward

Poor Damien, he can't have it both ways. Either he wants Kay to go out and have fun, or he wants him curled up in his office. Sad about Eudon's wife, shame we never got to meet her.

I think Kay's heart is in the right place, but Damien is still going to hit the roof when he finds out what' going on.

I do love how Kim manages to divert the mind reader. No one wants to read thoughts about bodily fluids. He has such a strong mind, I hope that it is going to be explained and that he will learn to use it to his and Raeden advantage/defence I'm glad the new Doc seems to be on top of getting Hernandez to back down. I just hope it's not out of the crying pan and into the fire. Oooh the suspense Can't wait to read more

Hi, I was wondering if anyone else on here was writing for the Goodreads event this year? If you are I was hoping to make this thread a way we can keep each other going and maybe swap problems and solutions. I have just claimed my prompt for this year and am working on a story outline already. I really don't want to leave it to the last minute like I did last year I am also volunteering on the beta and proofreading team for the event. Someone really needs to see if they can find my mind because I am going to be needing it soon. I must have been out of my mind to agree to do so much. Oh well, I hope some of you authors out there are joining me in the event,

Just read it, it was very moving and I'm glad she is now happy and has a loving family. I must admit I liked particularly this part, it made me laugh but feel a bit sad for her at the same time: Zay is precocious and sensitive. For a December music concert, Zay was to play a lead violin part. Zay practiced, but at the event played badly. At home, Zay ran upstairs, dived amid a pile of stuffed animals and sobbed. Chasilee said a friend told her later, "You definitely know she's a girl because a boy would never go to his room and cry for 45 minutes about messing up."

All I can say from my personal experience is that you can't force anything. I started by keeping a journal/diary. I'd write down what happened to me, my feelings, ideas I had, basically anything. When I had a story idea I would write the idea down in the centre of a piece of paper and then write everything that came to mind around it. Now when I have an idea I just jot down notes till a story line takes shape and even then I can change it as I write. I suppose what I'm trying to say and probably babbling too much in the process is that everyone writes differently. you need to find what works for you, and that can change as you get more experience and confidence. Just write from your heart. Good luck

I agree with Sympathia. But I don't see how they can get the same emotion across in a film. The internal dialogue and feelings that are explained in the book, will be hard to get across in picture. Also seeing the first film will give you as bad start if you don't know what happens in the next two books. Seeing her leave at the end, why would you want to see another film when the first one has such a weird ending? I do believe that these were books that should never have been thought of for film. -
