    Chapter 8.2

Kitryn is probably wishing she'd told them earlier. They could have made plans. But, it seems you have to ask the right questions to get an answer out of her powers. Hopefully, more information will come to light now and all will be revealed. Thanks for reading and commenting

  7. Kitryn woke up when someone tapped on the door. There was still enough sun visible that Simon was sound asleep on the next bed. Outside he found the same guard who’d escorted them the night before. The man bowed his head slightly and stated deferentially, “Elder Patrick asks you attend him in the meeting room. He asks the lady stay with the kits and the nightwalker.” Kitryn had to smother a grin, nightwalker was an archaic term for a vamp and the guard was showing his age just by using i
  8. First I want to warn any new readers to this story, you will want to have tissues nearby. Don't say you weren't warned. Such a lot of emotion in such a short piece. The pain of loss and the nerves of something new, and the hope of a new future. The description of the park and the people in it was brilliantly written, I could actually picture it from that alone. A wonderful tale and highly recommended.

  10. I loved this short detour from the ongoing Cards on the Table story. Chet is a sweet character and very easy to fall in love with. When you then get introduced to Arron and you see how perfect they are for each other you fall in love quickly with him too. They are both relationship shy, but they slowly overcome their fears to find their happily-ever-after. Reading about them dancing around each other and then working together to call their friends bluff on a date set-up is fun and full of laughs. A well-written highly recommended read

  11. This story showcases sibling rivalry at it’s worse. At least the one-sided kind of rivalry. Carly is a…umm, let’s just say she isn’t a nice woman and leave it at that. Craig and Jared make a great couple and work together to overcome any obstacles put in their way. I like how they learn to communicate with each other and work through their problems together. Once Carly’s plans are thwarted, the couple soon settles into being blissfully happy with each other.
  12. This story makes me think of the importance of communication and patience. Caleb thinks he’s not wanted and so he drops out and leaves home. Dalton needed time to come to terms with his feelings, but by the time he does Caleb is gone. Caleb ignores texts and calls thinking the worse. What if he’d answered his phone? What if he’d not left? Well, you can keep going with the what ifs all day. But, the main thing is they finally talk and this time they take time to stay and listen as well. A fascinating read.
  13. When I first read this story I didn’t know what the term ‘Dirty Pool’ meant. I had to rely on google and the urban dictionary. After that, I understood the title a lot better. What the friends do for the couple is sweet in a way but also a bit daring. I could have so easily backfired on them. In this case, it is the right thing. Again, like others of Gary’s story, this highlights the importance of communication within relationships. If you don’t talk about what is going wrong, then it can’t be fixed. Another intriguing read from a great author.
  14. A lovely, well written, heartwarming story. Seeing Tommy change as he gets to know Jason's story is great. This is the sort of story I would gladly give to an older teen/young adult to help show them why we need to think of others as well as ourselves. As the story shows, it is not always a person's fault when they end up in poor circumstances.

Another chapter. The mates seem to be settling in well with each other.
  17. Thanks, Def, sometimes a good story is a mixture of truth and fiction...of course, its the way it's told that makes a story even better. Thanks for reading and commenting
  18. Thanks Dugh I'm glad you enjoyed my fishy tale Thanks for reading and commenting
  19. I agree with some of the others that Drake needs a therapist, but I also think him and Jimmy would be good together with a bit of work. No one ever said relationships were easy. We all bring our own insecurities, and baggage to them, and we have to work with our partner to live with them or overcome them. Another great chapter Gary
  20. Thank you Deville, I'm glad you enjoyed it. Thank you for reading and commenting
  21. Thank you Dolores It took a few attempts on google to find what I wanted in enough detail, but then the idea was obvious. Plus, I was reading a merman story at the time...so. Thank you for reading and commenting

  23. So maybe it will give you an idea for a new story for us hungry birds??? And actually, he told the humans the exact truth, but the truth was so unbelievable they didn't believe him. That made his stories all the more entertaining to his audience, coz they thought he was at least half crazy and therefore they were willing to listen to his 'crazy' tales. Thanks for reading and commenting, Gary
  24. Yep, I think Belus would always be ready with a story to entertain and amuse his audience. Thanks for reading and commenting, Puppilull
