I would love to have Colt visit my job and deal with a certain person... His role with the pack is as I see it that of a consigliere, with Prime as the Don. He may not have direct power over the pack, but for anyone to try and break them up would not end well for that person. That would mean Colt leaving has to be either his or the Inner circle decision. I think it's Colt. He would sacrifice himself in a heartbeat if he truly believed it would save the pack. He doesn't see himself as a soldier, but that's just because he doesn't think he fights just as much as the wolves. He does it with his intelligence. Too bad he doesn't appreciatehow valuable that particular skill is.

Going from hot to cold in such a short leap! Gah! I don't want to wait for the next chapter! I want it now! If Noel is shot, will Diarmad feeding him his blood make him grow stronger and heal faster? D seems to think so. I wonder if they can get in trouble for bonding without the council present? There should be a loophole for lifesaving measures.

Nice theories, everyone! My brain is mush after an intense stay in the desert, sleeping on the plane last night and working today. So while I have FINALLY read ch 12, I have nothing to contribute yet. Need food and possibly sleep. I did think of this song though, during the chat between Colt and Jett (I must say I'm glad Olaf seems nicer to his son now, even if it took a little intervention of Fate).

I heard about the black box when I studied law too! I use it as an example to my unit at work as a warning to be aware of one's own bias and prejudice. We all have it and it's important to know that. Otherwise, you start looking for answers based on what you believe. In kaw, there may nit be any actual truth, but you have to know why you are inclined one way or another when ascertaining a specific point of law. -
Oh no! Or maybe yes, because even if the reason is horrible, at least now Andy can't hide anymore. I have a feeling Zander's parents are good people who will listen to Andy, when he's ready to tell them his story.

I was sitting here yelling "Tell them! Tell them!" but that wouldn't be Andy's natural reaction. He didn't just run and it seems he isn't planning on actually leaving town. That is real progress! Perhaps now, Terry's nosiness and persistence will come in handy? I'm glad he didn't kill Roger. That would have been very tough for him to live with, even if that sleaze had it coming...

I think Andy should be grateful Terry is persistent. Without anyone butting in, Andy would never leave the security behind his own walls. The friends definitely have a plan! Just hope they don't spook him. -

I'm thinking Zander confided in his friends finally and they are now working together to get him in their and thereby Zander's lives. I guess Terry was disappointed he didn't come to the party, but they don't know Andy needs an engraved invitation to show up. Perhaps, they are stepping it up by having him make friends with Kaz. Poor Andy hearing about the ex... Must really crush him.

They are unbelievable, those people! Trying to kill him and then humiliate him. Good thing Noel and Diarmad are getting so close. Will make it more and more difficult to come between them. That precognition is very handy.

Jenson is doing the right thing taking it slow and Merrick is showing remarkable restraint. Maybe because he realises the walls are coming down... Both siblings bundles of pent up need... Will be an interesting mission on the less than friendly planet. And soap...? Wouldn't that sting...? LOL

Ok, to dig us out of this hole I seem to have created, I'll try some old fashioned hypothesising. The vampire/-s at Emma’s place – why are they there? To keep tabs on the new Alpha? Is h a new threat to the vampires? Is Forest somehow vital to the next phase? That's makes me think of the cycle again. This just never ends... Is Prime’s mother really a mole? That would be terrible. If so, is it really her or is she being shadowed? But who is MG? Good or bad? Fate seemes to have been building her forces for a very long time. I guess if you work in cycles of 3000 years, you have time to plan... There were so many scents in this chapter. I started to think about the Russian lake. Water and lakes are "known" smells, but I can't recall a specific Russian lake and right now everything Russian is highly suspec to met. But why would Colt smell that? His sense of smell is developing fast, so maybe he's picking up other scents now.

That's a horrible characterisation of men. I really don't believe it. Then again I live in the winter wonderland where we are all a bit strange... If it's true, no wonder the world is in the state it is.
