Greg is making the Barony his own. Mostly he is receiving support from the former baron’s Council because their loyalty belongs to Dracul rather than the former baron. Greg was very clear that he required proper respect and that those who would not pledge their loyalty to him must leave. He has made many friends as well as a few enemies. He seems to have a natural ability to manage an ever growing empire. I look forward to what comes next as he grows into his powers!

These people do love drama! I expect some of these people will need an antacid after this dinner. I hope that the family can find a way to heal. Maybe JJ can really mature with a lot of therapy!!! Good writing, but unsettling. Thanks for the chapter.

Great job! I’m not ready for the end, and I hope when the end of this book comes there will be another one. I’m sure Marc has more adventures ahead as well as more involvement with the family corporation.

Prince George has smoothed things over for Greg. Now that his actions have been validated and he has made friends with high ranking vampires, Don Carlo can continue with his schools and modernize his barony. What will he do next? This is such a great story. Thanks for sharing.

I guess most of the family felt Will fulfilled an action they had subconsciously contemplated! Jays???

What we need now is a cryptic vampire prophecy about mind speak and silver eyes!

Vampire politics, diplomacy, and personal power is a mix that Greg must traverse. He will no doubt do well, but with success comes not only powerful friends but also powerful enemies! I patiently await the next chapter. Well I’m not really that patient! Great chapter! Keep it up! I love the intrigue and the possibilities of what may come next!

Always a little growth and hints of more to come! I look forward to the next chapter. Great writing.

Politics! Most treacherous! I’m sure George will be tested, but no doubt he and Daventry will come shining through. Thanks for the great chapter. As always I want more.

I hope after JJ has a little time to process his lineage, he will tone down his emotions. How could JJ really be surprised that Brad is not his biological father? It is another facet of his self involvement that he never thought to question his biological roots. In any case, dinners at Escorial will no doubt be interesting. I’m sure Will is ready to explain what family really is and how little is has to do with blood ties! As usual, our story has taken an unexpected twist. Thank you, dear author, for keeping life interesting!

Fortunately the reports he gave me was in English? Why would JJ ever think Will would give him a report in a language he couldn’t read? At least JJ did come through for Kris and he did a better job than I would have expected, though I have my doubts that he would stand eby Kris if this became public knowledge. What a great chapter! Even better because we saw from JJ’s perspective! I loved it!

Presentation to Their Majesties
gmc commented on Mark Arbour's story chapter in Presentation to Their Majesties
Great chapter! How long before a new challenge arises? Soon I would guess. I can’t say how much I appreciate these respites from my every day life. I had the interior of my house painted for the first time in twenty years which meant packing up the cabinets and closets which reaffirmed that I keep way too much stuff. Now I am putting stuff back and discovering what a lousy job I did identifying keep versus giveaway and trash. Thank you for the George fix.- 17 comments

Bzup is a marvel! More and more I am dreading the arrival of the bureaucrats. They are potentially more dangerous than the aliens. What is next? This is truly a cautionary tale. Great job!

Claire and Luke seem to be doing well. Travis’s star is rising. John and Ryan are making headway with their band. Will and Brad have come together and finally understand one another. Is it possible that JJ will listen to Will? Kris is probably strong enough to weather the shift eventually but it would be so much easier if JJ could provide immediate support. So much of Kris’s persona is tied his perceived heritage. A really great chapter! As always I am ready for more. Thanks for your dedication!

Communication has been established, but the bureaucrats are coming! I’m worried for Bzup. Will his rights be recognized? Jem has his work cut out for him. He along with the ?crew of the Vespris may be able to prevent the escalation of the alien initiated orz encounters. Is all out war likely? I hope not. How much has human nature changed despite the Covenant? It pays to worry that those in power and those seeking may put their own self interest first!

Through the Looking Glass , I believe, but it has been some time. Nevertheless no words were truer spoken. Jem is special, but why?

Has Jem made a new friend? I think we have the seen the beginning of communication with the aliens. Perhaps there is a chance for an alliance especially if they are truly stranded explorers. Surely there is enough room for all of them on the colonized planet! Maybe if they share technology life can be better for everyone. world building at its best! Great job!

Here we go! The unknown has arrived! Luckily Jem is up for a little out of the box thinking. I am on the lookout for green blobs and the aggressive behavior they incur while I wait for the next chapter! Are the green blobs the enemies or are they the tools of even something more insidious?

Is the game a foreshadowing of the real hunt? Teamwork is the best chance for survival but some are willing to sacrifice themselves for their bond mate’s survival! I hope that doesn’t happen. Great chapter!

Brava Carmella! Another great chapter. George always makes for the best weekend! All is well for now, but so many things could go wrong. I am confident that George can navigate the waters ahead whether they are smooth or turbulent. Thanks for the excellent treat!

Will and Travis are adorable! JJ is on the edge. I doubt he is capable of supporting Kris in his upcoming identity crisis. I hope I am wrong and that he has enough empathy to understand how devastating the truth of his heritage will be to Kris. And please let JJ think before he speaks! Jack, too, has to deal with Claire and Luke apparent fling. The shoe will be on the other foot and no doubt there will be an unexpected pinch! Great chapter! What’s next!

I loved this chapter! Calvert got his hetero sex lesson. George risked all for Calvert. The risked paid off! Calvert is knighted. It’s good to be with George! Thanks for this wonderful adventure. This is one of my favorite books of the Bridgemont series.

JJ is still pushing his abhorrent behavior to the surface! Can a drama queen break the habits of a lifetime? It seems as if Kris is his last chance for a meaningful relationship, but JJ has no insight and he fails to recognize how his behavior alienates those around him. Claire and Luke dating? Maybe it will get to Jack or maybe it will be more. Will and Marie are going to Boston soon. So much is in play not to mention the reveal of Kris’ true heritage! I love this chapter and I anticipate the next!
