That went better than I expected with the hospital and the plan for prioritizing the patients, but what happens when there are more patients than Madeline can treat? Will the emotions and trauma of dealing with untreated children become a danger when distraught parents act out? Sometimes it is better to be out of the public eye! I hope all goes well. I look forward to the next chapter!

Mickey and Drew are now in a position to payback Middlefield by funding the MacClaren Scolarship with twenty million dollars and no doubt they will offer participation as well. Mickey will probably become a board member and be able to find many other ways to support the school that changed his life. Drew and Mickey are above all family men who are there for their children as well as their relatives and extended families. They have a good sense of what they want their lives to be and having wealth will not alter their core values. I know the story is approaching its conclusion, but I will hate saying goodbye to Mickey and Drew! The good news is that if I need to read an uplifting story, I can reread Mickey! Thanks for the experience!

It’s a stressful time and everyone seems to be affected by the upcoming trial. Good communication and effort are making a difference. Additionally Gordy has offered to take the boys for an outing to give Ludo and Arthur some alone time. Hopefully everyone will find a way to cope! Gordy may even learn to cope with dating and possible monogamy! Who knows?

The stepbrothers are useless; no doubt they have left a clear trail of their illegal activities. No one likes them well enough to cover their crimes with the possible exception of their homophobe mother. I hope Mr. Patterson can salvage something with the help of Mickey and his team. Mickey got his wish. He and Drew are together for the birth of their third child. Despite the pressures of business and family life, both are moving forward. Let’s hope it’s toward a positive outcome!

Ralph’s life is interesting! Christmas with Nolan, keeping the twins while Therese has a girl’s getaway, meeting Nolan’s parents and taking the girls to their farm. Ralph’s parents may be the talk of the Golf Club. Oh what have they ever done to deserve such humiliation. Maybe they should share the tasteful nude photo of Ralph and Nolan with their golfing cronies to show their son has more taste than was shown in the local rag. Well maybe not! What a delightful chapter! I think Therese is beginning to enjoy Ralph’s forays just a little bit!- 16 comments

Jeremy is beginning to understand the depth of his betrayal! The question remains, what will he do to rectify the damage he has done? The longer he waits the less likely it is that Will can forgive him! After all the times Jeremy has said what people wanted to hear when in fact he had no remorse, how can anyone easily trust his sincerity? Someone has cried wolf too often! I don’t think the relationship can ever be the same; however, Will values family enough that if he senses Jeremy is sincere, he will give him a chance. I’m not sure I would. An excellent chapter and quite provoking!

Life after losing a partner is a tough journey! Every journey is different and this one seems to be shifting between desire and guilt of betraying the dead. How long does a man punish himself for having sexual pleasure? How much longer does he wait before he considers he might love again? I find all three men appealing and I can tell they have adventures waiting for them! I look forward to reading about them. Excellent writing!

Maybe Oliver’s father will be able to understand Oliver’s need to protect his brothers. Wouldn’t it be nice if Oliver’s parents could become house parents for the school and let Oliver and his brothers heal together. The school is being made habitable and the boys will be sleeping there tonight. The used up building is getting a new lease on life and it is a new beginning for the boys as well! So many people are working together to help the boys. They are saving the abused boys and in doing so they are saving themselves! Thanks for the hope! I enjoy your story immensely!

Mickey has reluctantly agreed to help Drew’s father salvage his spiraling company. He has pulled together a team with the skills to succeed, but it may impact his family life. Drew is going to insure that Mickey retains a balance between his family and his work. I hope this huge effort is successful! I look forward to reading how this proceeds!

This is huge! Drew’s father has come to them for help. With that help will come change, but Mickey and Drew are strong together and they will find a way to make it work without jeopardizing their family life. Mickey has a nephew and a namesake! Joyous and uncomplicated family news! Between those two momentous events, my eyes stayed moist throughout this chapter! Thanks for generating such powerful emotions. Excellent writing!

Ralph and Nolan are a couple and after understanding Morrie’s loneliness were able to offer him a much needed friendship. With the influence of the twins, he might even be included in some of their Christmas activities. In any event Morrie is becoming more than a business friend.
