    Chapter 2

I am pleased that the Jason POV did get a lot of reaction... both sympathetic and unsympathetic towards Jase. The discussion has been fun to read, even if I can't really participate. lol As for Jason and Luc... sometimes we see what we want to see. Luc may not have been trying to willfully deceive and hurt Jason, but neither man discussed where their relationship was heading and what they wanted. Thank you for your review and your support, Dugh.

    Chapter 2

lol, yes, in real life, having a nice, calm wedding would be great for Drew... Jason does need to work on his communication skills. Time will tell if he learned that lesson. Thank you for your review and your support, B.

    Chapter 2

Trust and communication seem to go hand in hand. I think Jason may have learned that lesson, but time will tell. Jason's relationship with Drew was damaged after that night. I think seeing what his brother did, first hand, made it harder for Drew to forget the pain his friend went through. Thank you for your review and your support, Spikey.

    Chapter 2

Sometimes people do insist on learning things the hard way, don't they? As for the wedding? Thank you for your review and your support, Lisa.

    Chapter 2

What's the saying... it's all fun and games until someone gets hurt? I think that applies to Jason here. He was having fun and loved his life until he got hurt. It's been 8 years since the prologue, and a year since he broke up with Luc, so yes, he has grown and matured. We'll see what that maturity brings during the wedding weekend. Thank you for your review and your support, Dr.P.

    Chapter 2

I agree that sometimes "too little too late" does apply. The damage can be too deep, or other parties have moved on so, although there might be forgiveness, things won't ever go back to the way things were before the cheating happened. In this case I can't really say what's going to happen next, but I hope you stick around for the ride. Thank you for your review, and your support

    Chapter 2

Thank you. I'm pleased the character development is working well. As for learning his lesson before Luc? I'm not entirely sure of that, but he did stay away from serious, committed relationships, so that is a good thing. Jason does miss Corey's friendship. The wedding will be interesting for everyone involved, I think. Thank you for your review and your support, Def.

    Chapter 2

I think that might have been one of Jason's most valuable lessons in the whole Luc experience... how important communication is in a relationship. Some could easily get hurt otherwise. I agree... very few of us are mature and smart when it comes to matters of the heart. Thank you for your review and your support, Puppi.

    Chapter 2

In this case, I don't believe Luc was trying to deceive Jason, but they really weren't in the same relationship. One positive is that Jason might actually learn to communicate better. About Corey, Pierre and Jason: Remember, Jason and Corey knew each other since Corey was around 4 years old and Jason met Pierre when Pierre was in grade 9. There was more a history with Jason and Corey. Thank you for your review and your support, Tim.

Thank you, Robert The fact that you enjoy my writing style is a wonderful compliment. The wedding is going to be interesting, to say the least. Thank you for your review and your support.

    Chapter 2

Although the flashback really only deals with their sexual relationship, there was a little more to Luc and Jason than just sex. They did spend time together outside of the bedroom as well. There will be a few more details about their relationship in some of the upcoming chapters that will hopefully give them more depth. As for Jason being terrified... it can be scary for some people to trust their hearts to another person, and Jason would feel that way because he's never allowed himself to be close enough to anyone (except his family) to love them. It's nice that you're no longer mad at Jase... hopefully he lives up to your expectations. Thank you for your review and your support, Drew

    Chapter 2

I don't think he thought much about Pierre before his experience with Luc. Some people don't seem to know how their action can affect others until something similar happens to them. I agree that you can live your life however you want, but lying to someone who cares about you to do it, is pretty low. Time will tell whether these lessons stick. Thank you for another wonderful review and all of your support, Gary.

    Chapter 2

Chapter 2 Jason leaned back in his chair and rubbed his eyes. The clock on the wall told him he’d been working steadily for hours, and his growling stomach was a reminder he’d skipped lunch. There’d been too much to do today to take a break. He could have ordered something in, but he hadn’t even realized how late it had gotten until it was well past four. By then there was no point in going out, so he poured another cup of coffee, and soldiered on. “Mr. Sedor? I’ll be on my way if you
  14. This was a beautiful tale, Def. the love these women had for each other was touching to witness. Who knew old Behman would be such a romantic? The man had a wonderful and kind heart. Although he was lonely, I would like to believe his Gertie was looking down on him and waiting for him with open arms.
  15. I heard this song again the other day. it's a beautiful tearjerker.
  16. I really enjoyed "Phoenix" I think my favourite line was: "There’s no place for old ashes on innocent plumage". To me that meant that you should let go of past regrets and mistakes (or even past people that can mar your new life)... start fresh with your new wings. I'm not sure if that's what you meant to convey, but that's how this spoke to me.

    Chapter 1

Corey's mom is an enabler, and I can't imagine allowing my husband to kick my child out either... especially since he was trying to stand up for her. Corey does deserve better. Hopefully he'll see that soon. Thank you for your review and your support, Lisa

    Chapter 1

It is a crappy thing to do to someone. I picture Zach as a bit of a narcissistic that hasn't grown up since college. Thank you for the review and your support, Caz.
  19. Such a beautiful scene between these two lovers. The lovemaking itself was sweet and hot and full of love. You managed to remind us that Patrick is inexperienced, without making the scene awkward. And Peter's unapologetic romantic side was just Like the others, I'm happy Patrick finally told Peter about his gift/curse and that Peter accepted the fact so well. It speaks to the trust these two men have for each other.

    Chapter 1

lol My problem is reading on my phone and forgetting to actually go and leave a review later. I think everyone agrees that Zach isn't great as a boyfriend. He might have filled a purpose at one point, but that point seems to have passed. It's up to Corey to realize that and make the decision to move on. Thank you for your review and your support, B.

    Days 15 to 21

All of these were well done, as usual, but I think my favourites were A Prayer for Ripley and Baker Boy. I loved the lines "Please ignore his naughty moments. And don’t forget the fire hydrants" They made me smile and remember my girl. As I read Baker Boy I picture a young tim, working hard to make his mom a birthday cake, with smudged of chocolate on your cheeks
  22. Wow, you really can pack a punch in one chapter. It's a wonderful start to an intriguing story. You've told us so much, yet left us with so many more questions. I can't wait to see where you take this story. I think I sense another hit, Gary!

    Chapter 1

That's a great observation, Dugh. I think you're right, Corey does have more of his mother's nature than he might want to admit. Thank you for your review and your support.

    Chapter 1

Corey is essentially dating his left hand again, but you're right... it can be hard to show up at a wedding alone. As for the emotional attachment? No, I don't think either of these men are emotionally invested. A lot of years have passed for every one involved. We'll see where their lives have taken them soon. Thank you for your review and your support, Spikey.

    Chapter 1

Haha well there is a chapter in your inbox, but I'm not mentioning what's in it Zach is someone you move one from. Hopefully Corey will have enough respect for himself to do that soon. His parents marriage coloured a lot of the way he sees people, so the flashback was important so the reader knows why he reacts to things the way he does. Thank you for another wonderful review and your endless support, Gary.
