    Chapter 8

Wouldn't that be great if they were really able to meet? I'm pleased you like the direction this is taking. They might be taking their time, but they are slowly starting to build a friendship again. thank you for your review and your support, Dugh

    Chapter 8

Thank you for coming along for the ride BuffyWillow! Corey does have some issues to resolve where his family is concerned. Hopefully that can happen for him soon, but things haven't changed for his family for as long as he can remember. Thank you for your review and your support

    Chapter 8

It was a big change for Jason... dating for the sake of dating is fairly new to him, but he seems to know what he wants now. How can he show the actual depth of change to Corey? I'm not sure that anything but time and exposure to each other can really do that. Thank you for your review and your support, Parker.

    Chapter 4

It's wonderful to see Kraig accepting Deke's care. I know he probably still has some of the reservations that made him flee in the first place (as well as other issues because of the experiments) but right now Deke really needs to take care of him. I wonder what Kraig's family is going to make of this? Will they accept it or make things uncomfortable for Kraig?

    Chapter 3

I can see how hard it is for Deke to leave Kraig, even with his brother. I'm sure part of its the bond, and part of it is the affection he's always felt for the young man. It doesn't seem like Kraig is fighting the bond for Deke's own good, but how much of that is because he's weak right now? I guess time will tell. Like others, I wonder why Park can't scent the bond or Kraig? I assume that's very unusual for werekin. I think more study is going to have to be made of the doctor's notes to see what, exactly, the man did.

    Chapter 2

Park is, understandably, very protective of his brother. Between his brother and his alpha/mate, I think Kraig is going to have some fierce protectors... even more so than before he disappeared. I love the descriptions of the werekin. I'm getting a mental picture of what everyone looks like and wonder if its what you see in your head. Great chapter!

    Chapter 8

Chapter 8 A knock drew Jason’s attention away from his monitor. “Come in,” he called out, saving the affidavit he was drafting. “Mr. Sedor.” His assistant, Jenna, opened the door. “I have the Carter file you were looking for.” “Perfect.” Jason waved the woman into the room, and reached for the folder. “Were you able to find the invoices from the contractor?” Jenna nodded and handed him the documents. “All of the relevant information is at the top of the file. Mr. Carter called earl
  10. Well I think its safe to say that Eric shocked the hell out of Nelson Its going to be difficult for the poor guy to think about the prom now without having a very telling physical reaction I'm really surprised that Eric's parents decided to let him spend the night. I think this means that date night is going to be a lot more interesting than anticipated This was a great chapter to mark as your 50th. Congrats!
  11. These two make me smile with how sweet they are with each other. Unfortunately, I think there's going to be some heartbreak in their future if Tobin's sense of duty to his pack is as strong as I think it is... and Kellar would never dream of going after someone who he see's as being taken. Its going to be a rocky road. I love how you're giving us little glimpses into this world. No piece of information is overwhelming. It all adds to the fabric of these characters' lives. I can't wait to see what the new chapter brings
  12. I find all of your poems beautiful, but this one really touched me. I can see these trees in my mind's eye... holding each other up, reaching for the sun together. Their existence forever intertwined. I would like to think that people can be like those trees and two separate lives can wind around each other and make the whole unique and strong. Thank you for this, Gary
  13. These had me running through a gamut of emotions.. from loneliness, to hope, sadness and back to hope and strength again. Wonderful as usual, tim
  14. Shared grief can make that heavy burden easier to bare. All of your friends here at GA might not be able to be there for your in person, but you are always in our thoughts.

    Brotherly love

Russel is such a thoughtful and sweet brother, who also seems to know his sister very well. It would be a shame if she and Tor ended before they got a chance to get to know each other because Kristen got defensive about being teased. I think, once she has a chance to get to know Tor and development some feelings... even friendship.. towards him, the teasing will cease to matter to her. I know Jacob is a fan favourite... and believe me, I adore him too (and the way he treats Russel is swoon worthy), but there is something about Chris. I don't know what it is... just... day-um
  16. I can't believe I missed reviewing this chapter! I completely understand why Patrick wants John to come with him to meet Fiona and not Peter. Not only would John be an unbiased party to assess Fiona, but Patrick wouldn't have to explain who Peter is to him to someone he may not want to associate with after the meeting. So it looks like we have two weddings to attend? Bring on the love!!

    A summer's day

Unfortunately, I'm out of likes so I'll have to come back to like this These were both sweet and innocent. I can feel the warmth of the sun on my face and the tickle of grass beneath bare legs and arms. Beautifully done, Dugh

    Chapter 7

You are correct, sir. We do have the benefit of knowing what's going on inside of Jason's head. Corey has no idea if he's really changed, or if he's the same guy who used the right words. It's going to take him time to figure that out. Thank you for your astute review and all of your support, B.

    Chapter 7

I didn't even know bottom-shaming was a thing until friends of mine told me about it. What amazes me is that some of that shaming comes from other gay men. Why someone, who likely knows what its like to be discriminated against would do it to someone else is beyond me. And yes, Zach's friends were jerks for doing it, and so was Zach for not putting a stop to it. As for Corey meeting someone just around the corner? Well, I did say Kingston was a small city Thank you for another wonderful review and your support, Drew.

    Chapter 6

There was a little of what they used to be in that interaction. There is a long way to go before they get even close to what they were though. Kingston is an average sized city, but in my world, it's a also a little smaller than that and the business core is downtown, so they would run into the same people on a fairly regular basis. Thank you for your review and your support, Drew

    Chapter 7

Zach is inadvertently making Jason look better. Luckily for Jason, Corey has also been working on letting go of his anger, so there might be a chance for friendship between them... something Jason probably never imagined he could hope for. Thank you for your review and your support, Robert.

Such beautiful imagery. I can almost smell the damp dirt and new life in my garden Congratulations on taking that first scary step and posting your first chapter. I think it's a smashing success

    Chapter 7

So that pitchfork is still handy then? I know you don't think Jason cared for the last 8 years, but I think he did. He made an effort to rebuild his relationship with his brother, and he has missed Corey, but he knew the guy hated him. His brother didn't discuss Pierre or Corey, so he left it alone. Not seeing them during those years made that easier to do. If they saw each other every day, who knows how things would have played out. Was that wrong for him to not try to seek out Pierre or Corey years ago? Perhaps, but it didn't mean he didn't care that he hurt Corey. Did he think about what happened every day? No... but neither did Corey or Pierre. Thank you for your review, and for hanging in, even if you want to string Jason up by his toenails. I appreciate the support

    Chapter 7

I love this. The negatives as it pertain to Zach were probably some of the biggest moments for Corey in this chapter. Seeing his ex, compared to someone he's considered reprehensible for so many years, would rattle Corey. Seeing Jason, the man, also helps him remember the boy he cared so much about all of those years ago. Thank you for another wonderful review, and all of your work helping me get this chapter ready to post.
