  1. And he's a ginger. @dughlas likes gingers.
  2. Hey, all. Getting on site has been hit and miss for me today. Hope y'all are well.
  3. Sweet dreams, bro!
  4. Aloha, Albert!
  5. Woot! Congratulations, Terry!!
  6. Absolutely. I've always wanted my own earth mate. Vega is another mystery in a mystery right now. There is so much at stake here for both the boys and the pack. Both packs. We shall see what happens when and if contact is made. Cheers... G.
  7. Thank you, thank you, thank you. I love writing dialogue.
  8. Yeah, it was an exciting, scary, heart pumping chapter to write. Warren was indeed the hero again. His deire to help proved right as it happens, but he did take a hell of a chance. I honestly believe Kellar reached Reznick's neck in time, so he would have saved Tobyn. The only shot fired was Warren's, so Reznick wasn't quick enough. What mattered to Kellar, though, is that Warren got the credit. Yes, if Reznick had survived with the copper knowledge, their advantage would have been over. Thank you, sir!
  9. Thank you so much, Terry. Your words mean a lot to me. I'd forgotten this bit of writing. I do have my moments. "Nobody could ever properly describe the joining. It defied words. The profoundness of it wasn’t just sexual. It was emotional and spiritual to go with a chemical reaction of the physical. The earth mother had truly outdone herself." Yeah, she did!
  10. Elinor might be the leader, but Miss Sybil is the Matriarch of the pack. All of them rely on her for her knowledge and her wisdom. It's so nice to see her getting nudges again. I love how Kellar's mind works. He saw a potential hole in their theory, and found the answer. It was the thing he needed before putting anyone, especially Tobyn, at risk. Cheers!
  11. No worries, Terry. I appreciate anything I can get. Life happens. I love writing the special aspects of everyday living and mixing it with pivotal moments like what happened in this chapter. It is so rewarding when readers don't see something coming. Warren is a true hero, and is now fully and completely part of the pack. It should really help his confidence. And as far as the story, this new revelation is a really big deal! Cheers, my friend.
  12. A lot of readers devoured the story and didn't leave any or many comments. I could tell that by the chapter likes. Some readers only leave a like on the final chapter, and that's the only way I know they read the story, same for others who only leave a 'story like'. C'est las vie. Logan's tumor was serious, so it could take time. Kellar seems pretty confident, though. I agree Tobyn was wise in his approach to Clarence. This is the kind of thing he excels at. His diplomacy likely comes from watching his mother in action. Took me a while to get into the site today, so I'll make this quick. Cheers and thanks for sharing your thoughts, buddy.
  13. Thanks, Terry! Sitting on the Warren twist was hard for me. It was fun too, when the time came. This chapter came out exactly as I had envisioned long before I wrote it. While I appreciate Warren being so self-deprecating, it also kind of breaks my heart. He has a tough journey since he last saw Kellar, and yes the changes in him are quite shocking. Tobyn was only moderately successful keeping Adelin in check. Tilly needed the boost the boys gave her. Cheers, my friend. I have had a really busy evening with regards to writing and editing, and I am heading for bed.
  14. Or he farted. Hey, bro!
  15. Pffft! I am nothing like Drew. He is devil spawn.
  16. Bonus Buck...
  17. Happy Tuesday, all!
  18. Aloha, Albert!
  19. Couldn't agree with you more about this chapter. As much as Tobyn will always be Tobyn, we are seeing a clear change in his priorities, as you point out. He is no longer carrying the shifter world on his shoulders ... because he has Kellar... he has a partner in everything. True too, we are seeing the strength mates give each other, and why the earth mother knew what she was doing. I expect she was prescient when she created different races, and understood they would need their own strengths... their own magic. Cheers and thanks, Terry. I'm enjoying this revisit immensely.
  20. Did a first edit of my latest effort and I think the story works. 15,000 words. What a relief.
