Hello, all. Sunday was an awesome day, and yesterday was busy busy busy. My daughter's 1915 home is more than I could have hoped for. Everything is updated... furnace, wiring, plumbing, roof, etc... and it is in a really peaceful, well maintained neighborhood. Ten foot ceilings on both floors, and eight foot in the attic rooms. Such a cheery, bright home. The kitchen is massive.
As you know, I'm a strong believer in one on one relationships, so this made me a bit uncomfortable, but to each their own. That are happy, and that's all that matters. Cheers.
Thanks, Cane! That's nice to hear, but most of my reader messages are for more westerns.
I have a contemporary story mostly written (14/15 chapters so far), but I keep getting drawn away from it by life. That's okay, though, because the mental rest is doing me good.
Loved this, kbois. This read like a confessional, and I totally got it. Getting lost in words, and the writing of them, was a surprise that gives me great joy as a man of a certain age, and I don't have to explain myself to anyone. Well written... narration alone can be tricky, and you excelled. Cheers! G
The writing was excellent, Cassie, as per usual, but man, this was dark with a capital D. Somehow you managed to make the twist matter-of-fact as the truth was revealed, and that made it much more creepy, but palatable to this reader. Kudos to you... is it dark for me to say I enjoyed this?
