    I got busy this afternoon and took down four more sections of old fence. It was behind my apple trees in the side yard, and now I can mow around them. I was unsure, but now I'm glad I did it. My son says it looks much better.

    Same here. Last evening I sat outside and enjoyed a cool breeze. It's really comfortable this afternoon, but there is a air quality warning because of wildfire smoke from the north.

    Cut down about twenty more trees in my woods today. Opens it up for the more mature trees, and I have more pathways to mow. It looks good.

    I'm so glad you could see this, Stefano! This was always where the story was supposed to end, with moving into their new home, but I listened to the clamor for more more more. I felt fortunate there was a clamor at all, and I fully intended to take it further, but I also had this very strong urge to write new stories. I never should have taken that final break from Cards to do that. Not wrapping this up is something that haunts me almost daily. Still, I keep the faith that my muse will comply one day. No one can leave a review until that happens, and I think the story and readers deserve that closure, that feeling you get when you read the final moments of a favorite story. Thanks for bringing me back here, my friend. Your words are very kind.

If you are not aware, this was my first foray into writing, and while there are issues with the quality of writing, I am immensely proud of it. I hope you are enjoying the journey.     Well, that was unsettling. Have we met a psychopath, or a lost man with a delusion? Either way, I have no trust for Henry, and would worry for his cousin. Of course, we don't have confirmation Tony died, but it sure seems like he did, and it was premeditated. Ugh. You did a great job of freaking me out, author. Kudos for that. Cheers!
