    I am too old for this crap. I just spent four hours getting a really heavy window unscrewed and unglued (hey, that describes @Drew Espinosa ). Finally got it loosened, and now the real work begins... but I am done for the day.

    Had another big tree cut down today that was near the house. It was a relief to see it gone, and well worth the money for the peace of mind it gives me. On another note, I found some rot on the bottom of a big window I built 35 years ago. Now I have another big job to do before winter.

    My last horse will be gone two years on Oct 22, and I just had a crying spell, missing her and what she meant to my life. It was triggered by a character on the TV show "Heartland" visiting the grave of his horse with his new horse, and I just lost it. There is this hole in my life, and I will never have a 'new' horse to ease the pain. One of the worst things about getting old. I'm fine... just being a sappy old man who misses 'Sky', his 'pretty girl'.

    @Valkyrie does a fantastic job of encouraging writers new and old to enter the anthology, and I was just trying to help her out. These anthologies are great for writers and the site, and deserve our support..

    Nothing wild and crazy here. It's a good job I finished up and submitted my Anthology entry because I am looking after my energizer bunny granddaughter for the entire weekend. Hey, writers, I wrote my entry over a day and a half, so there's still plenty of time to get on the Anthology train.
