    Things are finally going right for shifters after coming close to extinction. A ghost town is becoming a vibrant community again. How it must feel for Vega to hear the sounds of children playing again. Once again, Kellar arrives at the right moment, and maybe he will shine more light into the darkness. Thanks, buddy.

    Sigh. it took a very long time for me to get to this point. I still remember the relief I felt that I pulled this unexpected story arc off. Sybil and Arthur still have a lifetime ahead of them. Tilly is a wonder, but so is Logan. They are a good match.

    Yes, a lot falls on Kellar's shoulders, especially with the prophecy, but he has Tobyn to share that load. You have it exactly right. Destiny requires some sacrifice... or should I say... acceptance. It is unanimous, and Vega has made the right choice. They will come into Morningstar as equals. Absolutely, Vega land will be part of Morningstar now, and I'm sure it will always come in handy for the united pack.

    I'm sorry, Terry, that I missed this and didn't respond. Yes, Tobyn has a huge effect on Kellar... they truly are a team. Glad you liked the speech. And yes, Arthur played his role beautifully. Appreciate the support.

    Kellar is beginning to understand the depth of his responsibilities. As humble as he is, he is a powerful symbol to these people, and he realizes it doesn't diminish Kellar the healer to accept that. We were all very eager to see Arthur and Miss Sybil reunited.

    I'm so glad! Arthur's story arc remains one of my favorites. He has a horrifying story to tell, but it was really touching when he remembered Miss Sybil was his mate.

    Woot! Thanks, Patrick. I love keeping readers on their toes for this first mystery of mine. It really was so much fun, but it was difficult too, to keep everything straight and not leak any information too soon. Sybil deserves to be reunited with her mate.

    I think the initial response from some Vega members would be to dig their heels in, but time has a power of its own. No, it is not a done deal, but it will depend on how convincing Clarence can be. I can't imagine leaving my little farm.

    I couldn't agree more, but shifters are traditional. it is going to be hard to uproot themselves.

    I think this chapter brought a new reality to everyone, especially Vega, who finally have a win. One more hunter gone! Bill has Kellar intrigued, so we can expect he'll try to help him. Lots unanswered about Cahlar, but we have a pretty fair idea of his significance. Delia is a keeper, and keepers always remember the histories. Cheers, my friend!

    The painting poses so many questions. What does it mean? Is it coincidence, or prophetic? Time will tell... maybe. I would say you are right, though, that Kellar is somehow tied to that wolf in the painting. You can bet it has shaken him to his core, this orphan kid who knows little about his lineage. Vega is paramount to the solution for shifters. Will they be ready for big changes?

    It's okay to be hopeful. This was another healing I enjoyed rereading. Kellar has done all he can, so the rest is up to Logan. It would be a shame if he isn't deserving of Tilly as his mate. I think these bestowed gifts are only for our fated pair, a part of their destiny.

    Quite the introduction to Vega. The fact there are five matches so close to Morningstar erases all doubt that the earth mother is in their corner. It's up to shifters how they use this assist to save their race. Logan is a prime example of the malaise, and the incredible damage it has done. Kellar has his work cut out for him, because Tilly's happiness is on the line. Thanks, Patrick!
