    Hey Gary, thanks for finding the story. It's a lot of chapters but at least it has a fixed end. I try to make it interesting and surprising (at times). But if you do stick with it, remember everything isn't always what it seems.

    Hey Lisa! Thanks for the review. You're right about Tommy's mother. Parker was probably being snarky or he forgot. I think David gave her away in chapter 4 or something. Yes David suddenly thinking about new friends is interesting. Maybe there's something about the old friends he can't face, or he's simply expanding his horizons. I'm always a little suspicious of him though, because his subconscious is usually trying to protect him. Maybe the old friends are too dangerous. Or maybe it's innocent. Matty sounds like fun to have as a friend.

    Thanks mitchelll ! You're right. He does tend to overthink a tad, doesn't he? Sometimes doing it causes more problems that one wants, because one's 'defensive' maneuvers can be misread by others.

    Hey CG! Thanks for the review. I don't think we can predict what that meeting will bring. It might go as you fear, or it might be surprising to our 'always in control' boy. What would he do if he were suddenly 'out of control'? That could be interesting.

    Thanks Defiance! I think you're right about David's mind. It has to be something like that. I think I mentioned a few chapters ago we were only getting David's POV, and shouldn't assume it was accurate. He has a powerful force pushing him. Call it his subconscious or any of the alphabet conditions we like to assign, SOMETHING is directing his actions. It's all consistent to him, but certainly questionable to us.

    A very satisfying holiday gift of a chapter, Parker! Thank you! Andy is being bombarded by situations he is totally unaccustomed to: Kids wanting to be friends, teachers praising his work, a teacher apologizing to him and his secret crush warming to him (in his eyes ...he doesn't know how smitten Zander is). It must be difficult to absorb it all. Now a couple of problems I see ahead. First, Zander has to find another scheme ...hehe. Also, those grades are probably going to be mailed home. I wonder what the lawyer will make of that? At least he'll see is new sons' grades are pretty decent ...haha! I see you have one more in the queue for us. Can't wait!

    The boys got past the first hurdle. Now they are there. What greets them? We'll have to see. Somehow I think the weaponry and practice may come in handy. Joel and Jamie? That was fun. OK, I can't wait to open that airplane door!

    Fantastic tim! What a treasure of a chapter. It was the best holiday present, all wrapped up and delivered to us. James continues to see what a devilishly interesting and loving guy he found in Faris, That was quite an accomplishment, pulling it all off! I certainly hope we get to peek in on the new couple from time to time! Great writing!

    A good chapter CG! The GA guys have a hunter killer robot, at least one, to play with. They went to great lengths to get at Ernst and, no doubt kill him. Falling-Leaf has no doubt that GA is in the midst of a massive plan of attack. I wonder what other toys they've collected and re-commissioned. We could jump from the last World War to the first Worlds War. More please CG!

    Well, that certainly shifts everything into a new gear! The addition of a pilot and a, sort of, scientist will improve the probability of this hail mary pass working. Soooo Gee, I gather we have a few chapters of action-packed adventures ahead! Can't wait!

    Thanks for the comments Defiance! The Twoey/David face-to-face. I can't wait either. Who will melt down first? The annoying little kid will enter David's world. Clearly ...we wouldn't be seeing him so much otherwise He'll be important. Martin surely seems to be enough to keep Matty occupied for a while ...at least until his straight side wins again

    Hey Lisa, thanks! OMG are you sure you're not a shrink? David and his sister ...we'll hear that story a little later David has every right to be creeped out by Burch. It's amazing David stays with Kathy at all. It's really inexplicable on the surface. Once again I think maybe the kid who is 'always in control' is actually being guided by his subconscious mind. The mind which has access to all those little secrets David keeps locked from himself.

    Thanks for the comments Lisa! Yes, Twoey is on the mend and David will soon be able to visit. That should be eye-opening! I think Gary is also aware of what Martin said. He probably witnessed the dance with Cal, but realizes his bff's fragile state and wants to approach it obliquely. As I recall, they boys never confront one another, but let time work things out. Gary likes to push it a little though.

    Thanks for the kind words Gary! It WAS a little more difficult, trying to get feeling and meaning inside the straight jacket of the pattern. I'm glad you liked the phrasing. That part took the longest to get the message across with all the restrictions.

    Thanks for the review CG! Sorry for the looooong meaningless unromantic unaffair between David and Kathy. But it'll have to take a long sweet time working its way out. Everything with David seems to work that way until he's slammed with an unavoidable realization. Everything else gets buried deeply into that powderkeg of a brain. Martin should give Matty enough stallions to keep him satisfied for a while. His 'goal' with David is a few months off anyway

    This was a fantastic and long awaited chapter Parker! Zander fleshed out. All his insecurities. I'm suspicious that this Monday is the day he comes out to his friend ...more reason for his mood, which Andy picked right up on. Andy showing concern for Zander. That's big!! The boys are locked into two classes and the morning shower room. It'll happen. We can certainly sense it coming. Who will break their shyness and insecurity first? A good question. All the money will be on Zander, but I don't know. I guess I usually bet on the dark horse ...hehe.
