There was no school, it is Columbus Day! Naturally, Gary and I ran as usual. “You know, now you've seen Twoey, the gang should meet because Nels and Sam have some questions ...this way we can all talk together.” It made sense. We picked noon at Sam's house. It should give me plenty of time for what I needed to do this morning. I had to meditate. My emotions are pulling me apart right now ...no, ripping me apart! I can't even function anymore. I thought I had everything figured out after I f

Thanks Lisa! It was quite an 'emotional progression' for Ian, wasn't it. It surprised me how this little un-story hung together and even sort of had a beginning and an end!
-
Thanks CG! I realize Ian started out a little too needy, but Miles was the exact temperament he required. I'm sure we'll see them, here and there, from time to time!
-
Thanks AC! Sorry, but I couldn't resist ...although it takes me all day to simmer to the shiny consistency and deep flavor required, I do it annually. (luckily it freezes well) I think the boys are safe now. They needed the time to reach that flavor and consistency too, I guess ...hehe

Carlos! Dude! Great story!! I can't believe I never saw it until Thanksgiving week. But I ate it up faster than the turkey! I really devoured it and never felt bloated ...haha. You're characters came to life for me. Super enjoyable! Thanks for sharing it!

Thanks Defiance! It'll be a little lonely, not having those boys always rattling around in my brain Although, I have a feeling we'll bump into them from time to time
-
Thanks tim! It's difficult, but it was time. Maybe we'll bump into them from time to time once I discover someone else to spy on

Haha ...you're more than welcome!!

A beautiful chapter, Parker. Andy fits in with his new friends a little better. He gets more comfortable. Even this little bit is a major accomplishment. Zander is, he believes, a disappointment for his true desires, but the two are drawn to each other. As time goes on, it'll be more difficult to ever separate. Thanks for this one!!

January 1 [sharedmedia=gallery:images:12397] Shawn speared yet another perfectly cooked lamb chop. Pouring on an embarrassing amount of the Sauce Espagnole, he repeated for the third time tonight, “Ian, did you really prepare this entire meal by yourself? I never knew you were this good in the kitchen. Lamb with avocadoes, what an original idea!” Ian took a sip from the rare 1998 Borolo he had wheedled from his mother’s cellar. “It’s the least I could do to thank you Shawn. You were there for

A fantastic story Gee! ...In more ways than one, I guess It seems Craig's wish list was a touch larger than anyone anticipated. It sure made for a nice finish. Thanks for sharing it with us!

Week Six Saturday, October 11, 2014: Out of ICU
skinnydragon commented on skinnydragon's story chapter in Week Six Saturday, October 11, 2014: Out of ICU
Thanks Lisa. I guess the TV angle is a possibility, unless certain channels have been blocked. Probably your other argument is more likely. A several week old fabricated 'accident' is not any kind of news. They'd focus on the dad anyway, who is not known to Twoey. The biggest trouble is more likely Twoey/David in nature, especially if Defiance's conjecture is even partially correct. The visit looms as packed with unintended consequences -
Week Six Sunday, October 12, 2014: The Visit
skinnydragon commented on skinnydragon's story chapter in Week Six Sunday, October 12, 2014: The Visit
You sure got that right, Defiance! Twoey obliterates all David's plots and plans. He's done it from the very first day. How many plans has David made to deal with him ...hehe, unbelievable. He simply melts before Twoey, doesn't he. That being said, David prefers his head to his heart. So Twoey is no doubt a tad premature with his declaration at the end of the chapter. Who's going to win the tug of war? I recall Danny predicting it would be very difficult, and it wasn't written yet. Thanks for your kind words. Sometimes we forget things can take forever or the obvious gets nowhere when you're 15. I always try to keep it foremost in my mind while writing "Twoey." -

Hey CG! Thanks for the review. As usual, you spotted an important factor. We can see the gap between the boys from the last lines of each POV. Ginny is the only one who can bridge the gap. David's father is edging in the right direction, but soooo slooowly! He needs a slap upside his head. Only one person can do it. -

Thanks Parker! And yes, we can only guess at what a seismic event this visit was to David. It might be the opening his mind needs to rebuild himself. Unless, of course, something more shattering invades his thoughts -

Emotion sometimes forces me to stray. Gary and I ran this morning and congratulated each other for the good results we each had in Friday's races. “I'm going to spend the whole day with Twoey ...I'll text you from the hospital to let you know what I find out.” Before breakfast, I discovered my father alone, having a cup of coffee in the den. “Mrs. Messer is going to pick me up at 10:30 to spend the day at the hospital preparing Twoey for the tutoring I’m going to do, so he won't fall behind i

An eventful, but terrifying day. I'm worried about poor Andrew. I hope the boys can successfully pull this off, and that Dr. Cornish has successfully transported himself to oblivion. Great little action packed chapter Gee! ...And a little mind bending.
-
They have a suspect and a plan in motion. Although it is only a step in what Hunter wished to achieve, it is a necessary step, nonetheless. It'll be interesting to see how this plays out, and what they can do with what they get. Good going W_L. A great chapter. I felt bad for little Jesse.

Andy is getting caught up in the swirl that is Zander. He seems to be getting a little careless with it too. I think Zander is getting a little lost in the swirl that is Andy. Zander should invite him to the dinner rather than the party ...as if! The lawyer is not going to ignore the card. Not with Andy having his last name. Not if he's any kind of lawyer. Maybe it'll be a break for Andy in the long run. Great chapter Parker!

Thanks for the review Lisa! Martin was a bit of a surprise for Matty too! Maybe he'll keep Matty occupied for a while The annoying kid seems to be TRYING to be annoying, no? Why would anyone do that? -
It certainly was a chapter full of twists and surprises. It is what makes this story great. Calvert! Wow!! A fine chapter Mark!

All Craig and Joel's previous experience is paying off. How to hook up the generator to pump gas, what to be wary of, etc. Of course they are now in uncharted waters, dealing with a human being who will probably be hostile. Waiting to meet him in the next chapter! Good one, Gee!

Forgiveness and Stew 2 poems
skinnydragon commented on Mikiesboy's story chapter in Forgiveness and Stew 2 poems
Two more lovely poems tim! Forgiveness was raw and moving ...but ended in a good place. Stew was simply ...tasty! -
Well that was an interesting 'coming out party' wasn't it? If it was the single cloud keeping Casey believing he could lose his foster parents, then Jim cleared it in the best way possible. Jim and Carol are perfect for Casey. Now he has to confront James. Thanks for a great chapter Rustle!
