Thinking about it, Andrew had no choice but to buy Matt: The guilt of not doing anything to save Matt would have eaten him alive, I’d wager.
-
I really like this passage, because it tells me Matt was not completely beaten down by his captors and the circumstances they forced him to endure. He may be battered, but that he can still appreciate the beauty before his eyes as he is literally sailing into the unknown shoes what a strong person he is.

Wishing you a very good Friday, tim. 🤞 xoxo

OH, absolutely, panicking is allowed. Andrew did an unlawful act, but he did it for the most right of reasons, because rescuing Matt was something only he could do. Given the circumstances, the proper authorities would have never found Matt. At least, not in time.

I know Doreen is a good mum and she loves her family, but these inner thoughts of hers leave me feeling disappointed. She seems to be feeling sorry for herself and not seeing the bigger, overall, picture. Andrew saved a life while putting his own at risk. That is no small thing that many others would not or could not do, because of the potential consequences this type of risk brings to the risker (yes, I’m pretty sure that’s not a real word ). What Andrew did might be foolhardy, but it’s also incredibly brave. He didn’t think about himself, but of Matt. He needed to be saved, no matter what. Poor Ahmet. He seems to be trading one prison for another. Even if there are no locks or guards, a prison is still a prison.

Andrew’s plans for Matt are showing his pragmatic and logical side, but that’s not his current reality. His thinking is actually very scattered, because he has failed to take Matt’s horrible physical, and no doubt psychological as well, state into account. I’d say, Andrew needs to get himself under control, so he can think clearly and choose all the correct options for himself and for Matt. I just love Robert saying “we” and not “you” when they’re discusding what should/needs to be done to handle the rather precarious position Andrew has put himself in. Robert has Andrew’s back no matter what, and that is a beautiful thing.

Is it bad this 1. Made me laugh, and 2. Had me (takes one to know on, lol) calling Andrew out for being a procrastinator? Granted, Andrew has been through the wringer from start to finish with this project. I’m sure, while interesting, a book tour has got to make one weary, not to mention I expect Andrew is thinking the talk with Tony won’t be easy. Though the “pep talk” with the parents, first, was probably a smart move. Also “fecking”, I still really like this word, and I’m happy you found a place for it here. Brings back memories of past conversations in the DiC it does. 😊 Kanaan is not just arrogant and nasty, but a player of the long game to boot. What a trifecta that is. Either that or he’s the spider and Ahmet is now the fly?

Wow, that really is cool. You eat so healthy maybe this is what’s happened with your vision.

I don’t think I’ve ever heard of eyes changing in reverse, but, never say never. Good luck with the tests, tim, and your BP being a good number (rate, level?) sounds like win to me. xoxo

Going through it, I see there is a lot to read, so going my going overboard isn’t likely to happen. Right now, I just want to check it out to see what it’s all about.
-
I'm going to give it go, so here's to it actually being helpful. *Fingers crossed*

@Mikiesboy Im reading through the Noom questionnaire and have come to the part about “mindful eating”. Being mindful is something I learned from you and @MichaelS36 Being mindful is something I have been striving to do, because I have come to see the personal benefits of thinking that way. Just wanted to say thanks for imparting that wisdom to me and anyone else who heeded it as well.

And the same to you, tim. 😊 It’s turning out to be a beautiful day, thus far, and with the forecast now saying no rain today. I think it’s going to stay that way. So, yay for sunshine and blue skies!
-
This poem is absolutely wonderful, tim. 🙂
-
Same here and there's no rain in sight for the next few days, so that's a bonus as well.

I don't think Ahmet means it would be worse for just Matt. Why would he care about warning Matt if there wasnt something "in it" for Ahmet? Then again, in this strange world who knows what Ahmet's thought processes are and why?

Love the conversation between Robert and Doreen. Its obvious they love each other and son, (both of their children no doubt) very much. It makes one believe everything will be all right come what may.
-
Given what we know of Matt's circumstances, I can say with surety that last bit is not true in the lightest. Mr. Black is a man of the worst kind.
-
Hopefully, for you as well.
-
The visual your words was absolutely lovely, tim. ☺️ Happy Birthday @kbois!! 🎂 🍨

We had some thunder, too. This type of weather pattern has happened before, but not in recent memory.
-
The sun is shining brightly, and yet it is raining. Weird…
-
Enjoy your time off!

******* 🤦♀️ Well, that was messed up. I just realized I quoted my own self rather than @Mikiesboy’s post. 🙄

My imagination tends to run amok in all directions, so figuring out what is coming is usually inevitable. No matter, the ride was greatly enjoyed.
