Hey tim I’m doing good as it’s a sunny and warm day today. Plus, there were no Canada Geese having a get together on the road this morning, so that’s a plus. Last Monday, I was out, and about five (with more on the adjacent verge) thought hanging out on the road was a great way to spend their Thanksgiving. 🙄 I hope you’re doing well and having the same weather I am, because it is glorious. 😊 xoxo

Happy Thanksgiving to you and Mike and Dan, tim. xoxo as for me, it’s a quiet one this year.

It's good to hear you have family you can ride out the storm with. Stay safe and I hope all is good when you're able to return home.
-
Selling that fast is incredible. Congratulations!!

I'm awake when I should be sound asleep, but other than that I'm doing okay. I hope all is well with you, and that goes for the rest of the DiCers as well

@Mikiesboy I didnt realize this was the retelling of Homer's The Illiad (according to what I found when I looked it up) which I read over 30 years ago for a class at uni. Seeing as you liked this one, you should read The Oddyssey which is Homer's epic poem about Odysseus, the King of Ithaca.

That sounds wonderful, tim. I’m glad you and Danny were able to get away and experience a beautiful change of scenery. xoxo
-
I remember doing that a time or two..

Hey tim Be around as little or as much as it suits you. Take care, my friend xoxo

What is best for tim is the important thing. Sending good thoughts his way…

Happy Sunday tim!

Have a nice long weekend you three.

Mmm…. Sounds like a most delicious feast.

They had some of the walls as well. Some in really bad shape and some very much intact. It was something to imagine the people who would have been looking at those walls so long ago that I could see nearly 2000 years later.

I went to the Vesuvius exhibit at the ROM back in 2015, I think it was. Seeing all the casts they had of people and animals who were killed in the eruption was so sad. There was a sort of dignity and grace to the exhibit, though, which was good.

I’m so sorry for the loss of your cuddly friend, Dodger. I’ve been where you are now, so I can tell you grieving for your beloved pup is never wrong, no matter what else is going on in the world beyond our own lives.

Got it, and thanks for the “translation” because I don’t think my pondering would have led me to that conclusion. 👍🏻
-
Need to ponder this one. 🤔

It’s good to see you drown. No worries for being quiet and absent. Visit when you’re able. I hope your rollercoaster ride ends soon for your sake.

You’re most welcome, you are a pleasure to work with. As for the other bit? Yes, sometimes we just need to be brave enough to get out of our own way.

Well then, thank you @Wayne Gray, because this is a mighty fine title. Makes one stop and think about what it’s really saying as it’s quite the oxymoron.

Sold into Freedom Yet another example of your clever way with words, tim. These do make me smile, they really do. 😊

I chuckled when I read this. I this new side of Gwen. Then again, maybe it was there all the time, but something was holding her back from letting it out. Good on her for telling Matt to “not be the same” as her. Reading further, it’s plain to see She is “growing up”, and coming out of her own shell. It’s good to see. Really pleased Matt and Andy got there happily ever after. They both deserve it so much. Nicely done, tim. 😊
