Oh, and I should mention, I’m really glad the human Farley encountered after his change was Nick. Nick is a good and compassionate soul, and I’m delighted their “love story” worked out in the end.

Why am I not surprised he’s not a “rest” type of guy? Today is a napping kind of day, though the rain has held off, so I was able to get my walk in.

Happy Thanksgiving to you and yours, tim. My mom has a cold as well, so we’re laying low this holiday weekend. No turkey, but a nice BBQ chicken from the grocery store as that’s one of my mom’s favourite meals. Wishing Mike a speedy recovery.

Are you there to treat your frozen toes? 🤔 jk, it’s 55F where I am and I just got back from the grocery store. Socks and shoes were a must but no jacket with short sleeves. Thank you sunshine!

Humidity is just about nil, but T-storms are still in the forecast (it’s been light rain so far), so I’m waiting for the sky to open up and the thunder to start banging. The cooler air is appreciated.

Can’t remember how long ago it was, but one time at work a staff member told a patient to use the staff lunch room microwave to heat her lunch. Hubby had apparently packed her lunch, so she wasn’t aware it was wrapped in foil (weird, I know). Anyhow, in the microwave it went, and yes, there were flames. Luckily a quick shut off and unplugging put an end to the flames. Something tells me tin foil is still not microwaveable…
