  1. Thanks, tim, and thank you for adding the link for another site to add to my list.
  2. Okay, Ima going to need the recipe for this, because it sounds absolutely delish, and I have no idea what spices are required to make the beef spicy. Also, what type of cabbage do you use? Please and thank you for your attention to this matter. 😊
  3. In the wee hours of Sunday morning it is forecasted to be -9F for several hours. I’ll take snow over that any day, though I do think is snowing at.
  4. Yep, Ceramicais on mine as well. I love mine, too. It’s an interesting shape with all of its angles, which adds to its appeal, imo.
  5. Love the beginnings of the table runner, but OMG that bowl. Perchance is it made in Italy? 🤔
  6. ETA: Oops, @Wayne Gray beat me to it. And the inaugural recipe additiongoes to our very own @Mikiesboy
  7. Noted! My oven temp runs a little low, so I usually up the temp by 5F. Im sure it will be fine, but I’ll be sure to keep an eye on them while they bake.
  8. I was looking to try something new using oatmeal, and this looks like it is just the thing. Excellent timing, tim! xoxo
  9. I wish you all the luck in the world. 👍🏻👍🏻 You've got this @kbois!!!
  10. I hope you get the results you’re looking for. 🤞🏻
  11. I’m excited you’re excited. It’s going to be good, I just know it! As for the snow? I was out there shovelling it for nearly two hours (so glad it wasn’t too cold) to “get ahead of it” I did get I ahead of it, sort of. Now, if only it will stop…
  12. I’m thinking good thoughts your weather stays manageable. 🤞🏻🤞🏻
  13. So far my area has less than an inch, but blowing snow is continuous, so it looks as if more is coming down than it really is. I’ll be doing the same and shovelling in stages to keep on top of it all. Stay warm, tim.
  14. My area is saying 4-6 inches Sunday. I’ve got my fingers 🤞🏻🤞🏻this is one of the times they got the forecast wrong.
  15. Wishing you luck, tenfold!
  16. My neighbour has an electric shovel that enabled him to do my other neighbour’s (a double driveway) in about 20 minutes. I’m seriously looking at getting one myself. Just need to figure out which one. I’m posting an examples so you know what I mean — I Google best electric shovel Canada. https://ca.shopping-mentor.com/top/patio-lawn-garden/snow-removal-tools/snow-shovels/vl/electric-snow-shovels/?cq_acc=6897672676&cq_cmp=23402858805&cq_adg=189201059725&cq_term=electric snow shovels&cq_plac=&cq_net=g&gad_source=1&gad_campaignid=23402858805&gbraid=0AAAAA_zGFoWvYhRF_Az4aQWs4ql74XvWA&gclid=CjwKCAiAvaLLBhBFEiwAYCNTf4MO7wM0hgPY55aGBcebYCfPm5g4ouULORqpL9auZ4SLLaak35tDiRoC9UIQAvD_BwE
  17. I just got in from three hours of shovelling — mine and my neighbour. It’s all so pretty, but it needs to stop now. Like, right now. I know of someone who’s supposed to be arriving from NS today. 🤞🏻his flight wasn't cancelled. Now, it’s hot chocolate and huddle under a blanket time. The recycling trucks are getting through, but strangely, I haven’t seen nor heard a single snowplow today or last night as it usually wakes me up. I think staying home is in my future. Yours, too, I’m guessing… Stay warm, tim. xoxo
  18. Glad to see I’m not the only one with this affliction! Yesterday, I was sure it was Wednesday…
  19. These are really lovely and look like they may be fun to do. I went through a cross stitch phase in the very early 90s, but I don’t see doing it again, though I did enjoy it at the time.
  20. Sadly, my options are limited. The only one left is at the literal opposite end of town, and it’s gotten some not so favourable reviews. I think I’ll check out Michael to see what’s available - ie types and what they’re called - then check the online places you mentioned.
  21. I really like Michaels, which I could walk to when I lived in Toronto. It’s too far for that now. I can still walk to quite a few places, but living in the ‘burbs means there are a lot of places only accessible by car, because the buses don’t run frequently enough.
  22. Happy Birthday Cassie and Grandma!
  23. Dropped stitches were the big one for me. Luckily, my cat wasn’t a critic! 😂
