Uh,oh, he’s getting attached, so we all know what tnat means…
Amirite?
ETA: Well, that didn’t take long. Wrong, I am. Oh wells, better “guess” next time.
Poor Lonnie.
He's having a hard time finding his way. Just when he thinks he is going the right way, he realizes he' taken a wrong turn.
Even though he backed out of the "date" with Keve, I think he will be brave enough to try again with Keve.
I was giggling before Lonnie was, let me tell you. Loved that show!
I could hear the helicopter blades starting up, but I’m glad they “powered down”, because I don’t think hovering parents are what Lonnie needs right now. Still, they seem to have their hearts in the right place.
ETA: Gotta say, tim, your story has a nice easy flow to it, which is making it a pleasure to read. The serious bits and the lighthearted bits gel really nicely as well.
That sounds really cool, tim. I’m going to be on the look out for that now when I’m out for my walks. It was actually so warm out (61F), I wore my spring jacket.
Great start, tim!
I am completely hooked on Lonnie as a person and where his “new” life leading him.
I get the feeling his life and relationship with Leo, although technically over, will be of great help and comfort to Lonnie in the days ahead.
Leo is a lovely chap, so I do hope we get to “see” more of him.
PS: The scene with Stacy really tugged on my heartstrings leaving unshed tears in its wake.
Looking forward to the next chapter, so I hope it’s coming soon…
ETA: Just finished reading the other comments and found the answers to my questions:
More Leo and Monday, so yay on both counts!
Sorry to hear about your friend, tim, though I’m glad it seems to not be too serious (I hope).
Im sure she feels much better knowing her pooch is in safe hands.
The snow is disappearing nicely - thank you sun in a cloudless sky - so I think it will be all gone by tomorrow.
It’s 18F for me as well, but the sun makes it feel warmer, which I don’t mind one bit.
Hope everyone has a great day!
I’m hoping the sun will melt the lot of it, so I won’t need to shovel it.
This is the second time this year that it snowed right after I was able to wear my shoes rather than my boots on my walk. Natty is having a laugh at me, I think…
Write because you want to and not because you think you should.
Do what makes you happy even if that means building a barn in the backyard for you yak, and taking it for walks…you and your yak will no doubt be a treat for the neighborhood kiddies.
Just saying… 😘
My coat isn’t that heavy, so I was fine with it, but not needing my mittens was a treat, and still seeing daylight out the window when it’s 6 pm great, too.
I am a sheep/ram. Though considering I heard this zodiac phrase when I was nine “crash, bang, boom here comes Aries” I think I favour a ram… 😇
On a different note, it’s absolutely beautiful outside today, so I don’t see where tomorrow’s bad weather is supposed to come from.
Fingers crossed it’ll miss us.
