  1. Glad you’ve got it fixed, so you can resume working from home, tim. Be well, my friend.
  2. Pardon the repeated posts. My submit button had a malfunction...obviously. *sigh*
  3. Doing fine so far, molly. It was supposed to rain all day, but the weather is clearing - even saw the sun - so my day is looking up. Quiet can be a good thing for the soul. Take care.

  7. That sucks, tim. Hope the issue is resolved quickly so you can reclaim your day off.
  8. Good morning, rick. My morning started with putting out the recyclables and a trip to the grocery store. Before I could head out though, I had to check with Mr. Google and Youtube (thank goodness for instructional youtubers!) on how to to turn the four way flashers off on the car as I accidentally (as in how did I do that? ) turned them on. None of the knobs I tried worked. Ah well, I averted that crisis and was on my way. First time it happened, but I had to wait until a couple of people exited the store before I could go in. It pays to go early, because they do keep track of the number of customers inside. By the time I left, there was a line up of about five people waiting to get in. No wonder they have a long line area outside, because it’s got to be very busy in the afternoon.
  9. Sorry to hear that, tim. Take time for yourself and go for a walk with Mike. I heard High Park is now open, so maybe other parks are as well.
  10. Haven’t been outside as yet, but it’s sunny here. I’d send it to you if I could. Take care, and I wish a better day for you tomorrow, Fae.
  11. We’ve been doing that here and with the social distancing it’s working really well.
  12. I know someone who does this all the time. It makes for many moments
  13. Something I saw on the Weather Network, but had to find elsewhere because I can copy the links from the app. https://www.stalberttoday.ca/beyond-local/updated-sighting-of-white-grizzly-bear-in-banff-exceedingly-rare-2326924
  14. It’s the same here, which is really nice to see. I didn’t have enough to take the cart to the parking lot, so I turned in my cart inside the store. They have someone standing by to sanitize it immediately so it can go back into circulation.
  15. From what I’ve seen available online, these do look really well designed with quality material. The charity option is a definite bonus. Yes, for you and tim as well. I like that they are washable, and can be used with or without the filter. My mom hasn’t been going out, but I have done grocery runs right after senior’s hour when it’s quieter, cleaner, and quicker to get through the store.
  16. Thanks, Mike. Ordered a couple for myself and will show the site to my mom. She ordered two - from different sites - and the one that has come so far (an Etsy crafter) is pretty awful as it doesn’t seem like the wearer would be able to breathe properly with it on.
  17. The photos in this article are stunning. https://www.dailymail.co.uk/femail/article-8293075/The-winners-German-GDT-Nature-Photographer-Year-competition-revealed.html
  18. It just snowed a minute ago, but very lightly, so I’m hopeful it’s going to settle down soon.
  19. I think it was hailing at one point as well do to the size and shape of the “snowflakes”. It’s still windy, but the snow should be done now. And, oh look, the sun is out.
  20. Hi Starry Its 34 here but feels like 23 so says the Weather Network. Definitely too cold for May. Edit: Just checked the outside thermometer reading. It is 34F.
  21. No worries, tim. If more comes that will be good. If not, you've left us with enough to stir our own imaginations as to what comes next. I think what we're all saying in one way or another is you have given your readers a very magical (and not in a fantastical sense) tale that captivated our imaginations. You brought Dan, Artie, and even little Mallow alive in such a way that leaves us wanting more because they are interesting and intriguing. Whatever comes next is whatever comes next.
  22. I got back from my walk about 2:30ish. Just standing there taking in the fresh air, I saw them. They were sporadic and tiny (what you’d expect from a sneak attack ) but, yes, it was definitely snowing.
  23. I like how you phrased this Dugh.
  24. Good point, Parker.
