  1. Don’t have any advice regarding the dog, but I hope your weather and your joints are better today, Fae.
  2. I saw that, and I’ve had those yummy meatballs, so Im going to try this. Now, if only they’d release the recipe for their creamy coleslaw...
  3. Oh, gawd is this sweet! Thanks for sharing it with us, A.
  4. The same can be said for you, as well, tim. I’d say we’re all here for each other, and that feels good.
  5. I’m like that with flies. For some reason, they are not on my “must be killed dead” list.
  6. Speaking of cats catching mice. I had a black cat (more like a dog than a cat personality wise) who woke me up one morning by getting right up close to my face. Luckily, he had the decency to drop the dead mouse on the floor before he said good morning.
  7. Truthfully, the thorough squishing came about because of the thought it wouldn’t be dead and would crawl out the tissue and escape. Yeah, I know, just a little bit irrational....
  8. Went to the grocery store for some fruit after senior’s hour, so eight a.m. There was frost all over the car windows with a temp reading of 3C (37.4F). Is it really the middle of April?
  9. Lucky you. Though I find squishing them in a tissue until they’re not mostly dead guite satisfying.
  10. I am, thanks tim. The only thing that really bothers me are centipedes (they’re in the basement) because they move so damn fast. What you’re describing sounds hideous.
  11. So last night on my way up to bed, I noticed a spot on the carpet (the carpet is dark brown, and I hadn’t put my glasses on at that point). Anyhoo, thinking I’d spilled coffee there earlier, I bent down to touch the spot to check if it was still wet. To my surprise, the “spot” scuttled away and ran under the TV stand. That’s right the “spot” turned out to be a spider that I swear was the size of a quarter with its long legs. Way to wake me up when it’s time for sleep. *sigh* Needless to say, the spider is still somewhere out there...
  12. rick, @Mikiesboy advice is good, and covers all the bases I think. Time to ponder the pros and cons of each choice.
  13. I hope tomorrow will be a better day for you, molly.
  14. Chicken n noodles sounds good, rick. As for me, I just got back from a walk and my right knee is aching something fierce. Good thing I have a nice supply of Voltaren cream on hand. Vegging now until dinner.
  15. A bit of cuteness to brighten your day... According to a local news report this went on for about an hour. Do you think the hedgehog was deliberately teasing the dogs for being stuck inside while he was enjoying the great outdoors? 🤔
  16. Just got back from a walk. Sunny but cold (41F, but feeling like 30F) same wind as you, but wind gusts only up to 27mph. On a happier note, I was pleased to discover my grade six teacher (best teacher I’ve ever had) has a school in my hometown named after him. He totally deserves that honour, imo.
  17. Oh, do tell. We can keep a secret. Promise...
  18. I hope your think gets it wrong, tim
  19. Leave a trail of bread crumbs...just saying.
  20. With the world being upside down at the moment, it appears Natty decided to add her two cents, eh?
