Sounds like progress

Good morning, rick. Sunshine here with beautiful blue skies here right now and in the forecast through Saturday. Come Sunday supposed to get several rainy days - hope they’re wrong. As for how I’m doing? Been up for almost an hour, but just having my first coffee now. Eyes still not awake yet, so I’m getting off the device until they are. See you later and have a nice day. Never saw the movie, but I did watch the TV show. Sad to hear about Gene Anthony Ray. I can remember Leroy very clearly.

Second time I’ve seen ducks walking down the road. The first time was 1992 and I just opened the front door, and there they were - the pic I took then is the one on my profile page.

Just looked out the front window. What did I see but a momma duck and her babies crossing the front lawn. They made it across the street, but a couple of the babies had trouble jumping up to the curb. Momma was trying to encourage them, but had no luck. I was just about to go outside to assist them, but the neighbour’s daughter beat me to it. The family is back together now. Boy were they cute!

Good morning, rick. My morning started with putting out the recyclables and a trip to the grocery store. Before I could head out though, I had to check with Mr. Google and Youtube (thank goodness for instructional youtubers!) on how to to turn the four way flashers off on the car as I accidentally (as in how did I do that? ) turned them on. None of the knobs I tried worked. Ah well, I averted that crisis and was on my way. First time it happened, but I had to wait until a couple of people exited the store before I could go in. It pays to go early, because they do keep track of the number of customers inside. By the time I left, there was a line up of about five people waiting to get in. No wonder they have a long line area outside, because it’s got to be very busy in the afternoon.

Sorry to hear that, tim. Take time for yourself and go for a walk with Mike. I heard High Park is now open, so maybe other parks are as well.

Haven’t been outside as yet, but it’s sunny here. I’d send it to you if I could. Take care, and I wish a better day for you tomorrow, Fae.

It’s the same here, which is really nice to see. I didn’t have enough to take the cart to the parking lot, so I turned in my cart inside the store. They have someone standing by to sanitize it immediately so it can go back into circulation.
