  1. Congrats to daughter! Though I have to say: Graduation already? It seems like only yesterday was her first day - how time flies...
  2. I’ve seen this for other zoos from all over the world as well. It’s nice you get to see things you normally wouldn’t. Somewhat in this vein, Canada’s Wonderland is streaming what riding is like in the front cars of their rollercoasters. I saw it in a news article for something kids can do now, but I don’t think it’s new.
  3. Hi rick *waves* I had a pork chop and broccoli for dinner, which was very good. I love the idea of a casserole, though. Feels like comfort food. Enjoy it when it’s ready. Things are finally looking up because I’ve managed to silence my knee pain with the help of a heating pad. I hope this will last,.. *fingers crossed*
  4. Baseball sized hail? Wow... Hope that misses you, Fae.
  5. It is a bit gray, but I can hear the birds chirping, so it can’t be too bad out there. Aside from my right knee aching (thank goodness I’ve got fresh supplies of Voltaren and Motrin) I’m doing okay. I am glad you perceive a quick end to what is brining you down today.
  6. I hope you took the day, tim. Take care.
  7. Hey rick, good night and sweet dreams to you, too. Im taking it easy in wind down mode as it’s getting late.
  8. It’s nice when rewards are shared. Just saying
  9. I’m guessing your reward was a bike ride and not cross stitching? Just a guess, mind you. 🤔
  10. Good morning!!!! You a funny man, Wayne, a very funny man.
  11. It is sad, I’ve crossed paths with dogs during my walks, and it’s evident a lot of them are thinking as they strain at their leash “but mom/dad I just wanna say hi” A woman commented she sees this in her dog. Poor doggies, just don’t understand. When I was a teen and helping my friend babysit (it was summer, so the front door was open, but the screen door was closed) and wouldn’t you know it, there was a bark at the door. It was the neighbour’s dog looking for his pal to come out and play. That was almost 40 years ago, and I can still see that dog at the door. So yes, dogs do have friends. Edit: As for Brutus? I predict an exuberant reunion when the time finally arrives.
  12. It cuts off quickly, but I just have to show you this video of two dog pals kept apart for a month by the coronavirus lockdown. Dogs do feel...
  13. I was curious too, so I googled them. There’s quite a variety out there.
  14. Good morning, and thanks for the giggle (endorphins are good for you as you know).
  15. Excellent way of putting it, Mike. I was trying earlier, but it got wordy and complicated, so I had to leave it alone to ponder a better better reply.
  16. Good for you, rick. It’s early yet - working on coffee number two - so we’ll see what the morning is like after that’s consumed. It is very cloudy outside, but I’m hoping the promised sun will show itself soon.
  17. Forgot to give her a key to the new house, did we? Oops...
  18. I saw more than a few (more like a blizzard ) at one point. This world truly is upside down right now.
  19. And as it was snowing (yes, I said snowing) and windy today, no inclement weather to deal with. It sounds like your employer would be a winner in this scenario as well. I hope someone realizes that and soon.
