Awesome! I love your pictures!

Hi Clo! His name is Cha Yen. That's short for Cha Thai Yen, or Thai Iced Tea. Both the tea and the cat are ginger coloured. His only problem is that he talks too much, and if you talk back to him, he has to have the last word.

Little brother. There is nothing stopping you from fulfilling your dreams. SE Asian boys welcome people like you and me. I have a French acquaintance who regularly takes his motorbike on road trips visiting all the young men he connects to online. He even flies to the Philippine Islands and Indonesia to do the same. You may not be ready for retirement yet, but a two-week vacation might give you a year's worth of memories to....

Hi Albert! I don't have any problem now with the stomach. I was just telling Nick about a stomach problem I had a couple of years back. I have been busy as an editor/beta for Man and also for Dr. Sawzall. Also, making sure that I have a private life like you and Steve have. In addition, Aod and I are trying to introduce a new cat in our lives. Orange is having a hissy fit! Literally! They are finally settling down, but it has taken about four days for them to ignore each other. I figure another week, and they will start to play. How are you and Steve? Are you getting more orchids flowering?
-
I haven't checked in for a few days. I hope everyone else here is OK. Did I mention that Aod and I have adopted another cat?
-
I hope it's just a bad fly. I had stomach issues for two summers in a row, and the first one had me in the hospital for three days. I waited for over 10 days and then had to go to see a doctor. The second one was not so bad, because I went to the doctor after a few days.

Hi Nick! You would have loved being here. I'd love to party with you. I was one of the few non-Thais, but I felt part of the crowd and met many interesting new people. Thais love to have a good time. If you are having a good time, then they treat you as one of their own. How are you doing?

Hi Page! We are doing well. I have been living the life both Spike and Drew fantasize! Aod, I and friends went to a concert at a local venue. It is a large and popular restaurant with a stage and live music regularly. Last night, however, there was a special concert by a 'superstar' Thai pop group, Indigo. I got to eat, drink and be a fanboy. After the concert, we all got in line for pictures with the group. It was a fun night. Being in Thailand, it was not expensive. It only cost us $20 USD each for reserved seats, drinks, food and tips. I also worked on editing for Craig and DrSawzall. I love working with both, but especially Man. Hope you and yours are doing well!

I wish we all had more people like them and showed greater support and appreciation for the ones we already have. I also want to let you know, @Timothy M., that your work with Gary was one of the reasons I started working as a beta/editor. Thanks for the comment and your inspiring work.

I think both Myr's Darth Severus and your ghetto boys would make great prompts for stories. Myr's HP holding Draco's head would be a fun talking heads prompt.

The Major has a great reason to be happy. Jeff's absence is now explained. He's a good man. I wonder how he found out about The Major's money. Jail justice rendered the verdict and execution of Bill and his accomplice. I wonder who the source of information about the two criminals was. As busy as Beccy and Jim are, I'm surprised that they did not visit Jason, although where he is at now is a place that usually does not allow visitor outside of family. I hope Jason will be able to begin healing as he stays in the Child Psychiatric Unit.
-
I had totally forgotten the two major pieces in this chapter. Peter flirting with The Major was fun. I am sure that one of the attackers was Bill. I hope he and his accomplice are headed for jail, permanently!
-
Hi Albert!
-
Probably one of Harry's old ties from his first year.
-
Jason seems to be having the worst of luck. At least another paedophile has bitten the dust. I understand Ian's worry, but The Major was right. I only wish he had not run off and stayed long enough to hear Ian and Kevin's apology.
-
I quoted myself because I still have the same reaction to this chapter. I did read Lost Soul- The Ox a few days ago, which provides the backstory for the pictures. That is another heartbreaker. Harry and The Major's talk in The Baxter Boys has a lot more depth and meaning to me now.
-
I think I hate Bill even more after reading this again. He is an evil predator who basically poisons Jason. I suspect he would have raped Jason if not for Jason's reaction to the poison/drug Bill gave him. I hope he is caught and thrown in jail for a long time!

This short, stand-alone story and the sadness it contains reverberates in some of the core stories in The Boot Universe. The minute I read The Boot, this one story always comes to mind.
-
I decided to focus on the core stories in The Boot/Lost Souls universe and reread them. The most notable thing I learned was how much I had forgotten. 🥴 This story has so much background on the characters in @Mancunian's latest book, What Happened to the Baxter Boys. I am once again enjoying this story. I hope others join me.

In preparation for helping Craig on his project, I reread some of the prior stories to The Baxter Boys. I've read most of the stories, and this time, I focused on the core stories in The Boot/Lost Souls universe. The most notable thing I learned was how much I had forgotten. 🥴 There is so much background information to learn about all of the characters in this story.

With Myr's inspiration, I decided to try out my fantasy pair of matched Griffendors, Harry and Charlie. I got this on the second try with this prompt. Harry Potter and Charlie Weasley holding hands and looking at each other with love. Charlie is slightly older and taller. Realistic picture The hands still look messed up, but I've gotten used to that. I think the AI does it deliberately since it doesn't have hands and is envious.

Say Hi! to Morgan and Max for me.

Hi Page, I am good. Got an early start to the morning. I did some work on one of Man's stories and just waiting for him to wake up and send me feedback on it. I am also looking forward to going out to lunch and coffee with Aod. Hope all is well with you.

I think I need to amend my comment from last December. Ox and Sister Judy are forces of nature, but Sister Judy is the stronger of the two. I agree with @Summerabbacat that her rant at Ox should have been recorded and played back every time he steps out of line. I'm sure this won't be the last time the stubborn man acts out. It is great that he is going home with Ian and Kevin. They are his family now.
-
Ox is a wonderful enigma. He is a flawed hero, both tough and weak. Danny's life is improving, and the bond he shares with Kate and Steve seems to be growing. I hope they adopt him soon. Andy is too shy and needs to change his ideas about Chris. It is keeping him from getting to know Chris. I think there is a possibility for a good friendship between the two men. I am glad that Chris is becoming more comfortable now that the people at The Boot know the truth. Bill is a shit, and I can't understand why anyone would follow his lead.
