Inspired by George Washington's sequel, Jake and Ben have decided to put the fun and games they read about to work. George decides to email them finally and that sets to boy off to prove they are not lurkers. Enjoy reading how they accomplish this as well as keep Ben's mother from interfering.

I hope you like the review @Geron Kees. I enjoyed reading about Will and Billy once again. I am curious about one thing. It seems like the guys had several gay friend in this and the other two stories before. I don't ever remember seeing them again even though they were delightful characters. Do you think they might show up again now that the boys have become men? Another curious thing to me is that there is less sexual contact in the story than in the first chapter. You also continue this in future stories. I am curious to know if there was a reason for this, especially considering all that happens in The Short, Short Prince.

This Boone Universe Halloween tale is a great story that highlights the growing bond between Charlie, Kippy, Adrian and Ricky. The characters continue to develop as they take up the task of helping a lost soul reunited with his life long love. Gruesome costumes, haunted house and a creepy setting are wonderfully created by Geron. Many elements found in future stories are introduced here for the first time. As most of the Boone stories, this can be read by itself and is easily read in a day or less.

The further adventures of Ben and Jake as the writer, George Washington, is spurred on by an email to write a sequel to his first story. Having spent two weekends with Jake, Ben and his father plot together to overcome Ben's mother's controlling behaviors. They are going to make sure Jake can sleepover with Ben the next weekend for more games and some after lights out fun. How fun!

Ben and Jake are two young teens chuck full of hormone when the discover each other. Bobby found Rover, Jake's lost dog, and returned it to him. Jake's family had just moved into town, so his mother thinks it is a good idea to invite Bobby for a sleepover. Of course, this leads to... There is great fun and humor to this vignette. Especially if you remember the usual disclaimers writers use about characters. Funny and steamy are apt words to describe this tale.

Give the Dog a Bone is the first short story written by George, a gay man that because of the times lived a straight life. With his family raised and his wife's death, he now indulges in writing a gay story online about a boy who finds a lost dog. There are unexpected results that no one foresees. Ivor Slipper writes this in third person marvelously executed to reveal two parallel stories. Great reading and fortunately for the reader continues in a series of vignettes or chapters. A well written and compelling tale.

The Rover's Return is a short vignette that starts a series of vignettes. It is a tale of a lonely man who starts to write a story after finding a dog. This is a very short, but sweet beginning. The author, Ivor Slipper, is a very respected author and his stories are well written with well engaging characters. This and the following vignettes/chapters create a wonderful tale of love and renewal.

Because this was a bit sadder than the first two I did remember a lot of the story. That Billy and Will will be united forever is wonderful.

I pity poor Drewdo. Pouring sugar in a wound keeps bacteria from forming by absorbing the moisture. He apparently can't tell the difference between the two and will probably pour salt instead. Stupid double posting!

Charlie, Kippy, Ricky and Adrian have a big problem. Adrian's mother was laid off and that means she may have to move somewhere else. Adrian and Ricky are miserable with the thought that their new love might end. The two boys share their sadness with their closest friends Charlie and Kippy, which set them all in search of a solution. Britannica Brain Charlie whips out the computer with hunt and peck Kippy at the keyboard in search of information. It's amazing what a simple typing error can do to an internet search. A typed in "help" in the search bar makes the computer act crazy as it lands on a weird site where they meet Max who assures them he can solve their problem. Thus begins a magical Christmas tale that will delight and entertain the most skeptical person. A wonderful read anytime of the year. Teenage angst at a minimum and fun at the maximum with a few erotic suggestions to spice things up. This is the second tale in the Boone Universe and well worth the read even in the middle of the summer!

I almost wish it was Christmas as I read this story once again. You have captured the spirit of the season with your wonderful words and ideas. I got some great laughs at Max's panic attacks when the boys smothered him with affection. It seems who you know makes finding a job simple if who you know is the big guy at the North Pole. I had forgotten that Pip and Frit were introduced so early in this series. I've been missing them lately and hope the make an appearance again soon. Thanks for the fun and memories. It has inspired me to set up a Christmas list of stories to read in December.

I'm so excited about rereading the Boone series again reading this first book! Looking forward to some happy reading this month.

Where to begin with Charlie Boone? Right here at the beginning of course. It's the Great Punkin Charlie Boone is the gateway into the Booniverse of holiday stories for Christmas, The Fourth of July and Halloween. All are filled with fun, adventure, love and really, really foreign places. Charlie, Kippy, Ricky and....a fourth member who they will meet in this tale are too old to trick or treat, so they decide to make their own fun. I had forgotten naughty these nice, cute, horny twinks could be or as inventive as they are in making the fun and sharing it with others. Join the many, many readers here how love and enjoy this continuing series. Geron is an excellent writer who know how to make me laugh and enjoy the magic of his tales.

This second..or third reading was even better this time around. It has been some time since I last started reading the Charlie Boone stories. I had forgotten how young and horny these boys were at that age. I also caught good laughs from things I had missed before like Charlie living on Karloff Drive. It was also delightful seeing the boys talents before they started to develop in earnest in later stories. I had a awesome time reading. Thanks Geron!

This could be a roadside overlook, or an extension off the back of a house built on the side of a mountain. Fire towers look much like the do in the US, but are made from metal.

Good times served with good food make the best memories. I'm sure the boys will remember their adoption more favorably after that wonderful meal. I make sense that the boys now want to go fishing in order to have another wonderful meal. It seems that Armand and Collin needed to be reminded that one of their duty of fathers to young children is to make sure the little ones get tucked in bed at night.

It would seem that the gruesome battle when they arrived at the forest was just the right circumstance Jamie needed in order to find a way to teach Geert the protection spell. The Dark Forest is definitely a place I would avoid. The sounds from the forest brings to mind giants, huge beasts, or walking trees. The four adventurers are developing a very strong bond which will be tested in the future.

Yep! This is definitely what it looks like in the mountains this time of year. There are many places like this in the mountains that surround the city.

Hey Page! Aod and I are doing well this weekend. Friday night out with friends, and Saturday in recovery resting and cooking only. Today we woke up early and have been planning for next week. The big one is getting new tires for the car. I hope they are better than the Michelin tires that are on it now. Those only lasted about 12,000 miles and cost a fortune!

Your post on Alan Arkin. Although it now seems the words were probably written by the little girl in the picture. That would make sense.

I love the poem @Philippe! You have a great talent in writing poems and puns.

Hi Albert! My condolences on the loss of your friend. I hope the weather is OK where you're living now. I really love the western themed pictures and horses you posted! Say Hi to Steve for me.

Hi Gary, That smoke has been going on for a while now hasn't it? I hate the smokey season here in Chiang Mai. This year wasn't so bad, but some years I have the same problem with breathing. Hope the fires don't last all summer.
