A very exciting chapter that cleared up the confusion I had in Chapter 2. Sprog exist in both the dimensions and not just Caleb's dimension. Therefore, there was no merger of Caleb and Simka. It does seem that the are fated to merge and mate however. It is also interesting that Sprog was sent with Counselor Harmon . I wonder why.

Thanks for the computer recommendations. I love my ancient Mac and was reluctant to consider a computer using the Windows based OS. ❤️

Glyph is a word that holds a lot of images for the historian in me. It is the foundation of writing in many ancient cultures that have caught my fancy. I like how it sounds when said aloud, and also the fact that is one of the few words in English that doesn't have a vowel. ❤️

An interesting chapter with great descriptions of actions and setting. It is very well written and flows without distractions. The only thing that confuses me is that somehow Caleb and Simka seem to have merged. How did that happen? Now you've set the hook @drsawzall I am just going to have to continue reading.

I like both the premise of this story and the introduction of the characters. There is just enough knowledge of the characters to make them interesting. Great start @drsawzall.

Hi Man! Hope your day has gone well!

Hi Bucket! Hope your day is going well! I loved the gif you gave to Drew. It fits the lovable, stinky little devil.

Thanks Aditus and Aaron for this Ask An Author interview. For me it is timely and revealing interview, since I am following The Cat Burglar and enjoying the tale very much! I liked the explanation of the vampire's gifts, since that is a feature of this story that has intrigued me. I did laugh a bit to learn that Aykut was based on Aditus' hairstylist. Aykut is a very entertaining character in the story. Thanks again to the both of you!

Hi Page! I'm doing fine. Aod and I are going out for a romantic dinner at a great restaurant tonight.

The hall felt interesting, creepy and oh so dangerous. Dorf's quick blink may possibly hint at his magic. It could be having luck when in battle, or possible precognizant revelation as split moment before something happens that allows him to react to danger more quickly. Both would be an advantage in battle. I'm guilty of over-using the word, especially on GA. I guess I need to have the thesaurus open all the time in a tab. 🤔 I wonder if Master Thorvil has noticed this as he flew over the forest. I know the forest looks the same from a birds eye view, but flying higher as Thorvil does might make the circular bare cliffs in the middle of the forest visible to him. The forest hold a lot of secrets of the ancients. I wonder if it is the only place that survived what happened to the ancients. If it's purpose wasn't warfare, what is the purpose for which this huge complex was created? It would seem that a complex that sent out missiles of warfare for the last 4000 years at a rate of 4 per day would have been noticed by now. That's close to 6 million missiles! Geert is fascinated by the machine magic of the ancients. When he does get the chance to explore them I hope he has some help. I'm sure that will make another interesting adventure.

Hi All! You sure had an explosions of comments last night!

That sounds a lot like Bridget in Circumnavigation. Not a good role model for you Drew! How are you, the family and the cats doing?

Kippy wants to do something different for the Fourth of July, but needs to consult with Charlie, Adrian and Ricky. You have to be careful what you wish for. Kippy gets something different all right, along with the rest of the crew. They get abducted by evil aliens in a UFO. This fun Fourth of July tale is filled with evil aliens and some awesome aliens too. Also, there is plenty of excitement as Charlie and friends travel the galaxy and trade with aliens in a place called Engris. This seems the right time to read this story considering it is the first Fourth of July story for the Booniverse, as well as all the recent reports of UFO that are on the news service. Have a read as you relax from the holiday.

Hi Aditus! I have to say I was more than a little surprised to see that you had posted a new chapter in this story. I am more than happy that you did. As always it was a great chapter. I was pissed at Konstantin for his total disregard of his duties to Kavan. Konstantin is a old and powerful vampire that knows what he should do, but totally failed in his duty to Kavan. I was surprised that Kavan returned the sword, but understood his reasoning. I'm not sure I care how badly it damages their relationship, because I'm not sure that a relationship with Konstantin is worth much. I'm sure that Aykut also understands. In severing his relationship with Konstantin, he also is severing it with Master Caspian. I hope there will not be negative repercussions for Kavan's brothers. It may be why Gideon came to Venice, to repair the damage. At this point I'm not sure that's going to happen. Kavan has proved that he can have a life in Venice, and doesn't need Gideon, Konstantin, or Master Caspian. All Kavan needs now is his brothers. Great writing Adi!

To be honest, my main problem is that I have to replace a Mac. I also want a big monitor, wireless rechargeable keyboard and mouse. Pricey! Especially if you want the oomph!

Drew doesn't appreciate the finer things of life like lava cake with love.

You two had me ROTF! I guess Doc Sawzall wasn't in a blue...cheese mood today.

Awesome news Gary! If those characters are pushing you this fast, I believe it will be great new story. ❤️

I need to consult with you and Gary. I've had my Mac for 12 years and I need a replacement. I too like a computer with oomph!

Hi Page! I'm doing well. I have been reading a lot lately. Promised Geron, a long time friend, that I would reread and review all the books on GA I haven't reviewed already. I also am doing the same for Ivor and Doc Sawzall. In between I have been shopping, cooking for the freezer, and tonight's dinner. Beef Burgundy for tonight, and ham and bean soup for the freezer. How are you, Morgan and Max doing?
-
Is Geron Kees precognisant? You might suspect that if you read this tale of a Valentine's Day that could have gone wrong. Fortunately the day ended perfectly! Poor Frit! Pip dumped him leaving Frit in the dumps and asking his friends Charlie, Ricky, Adrian and Kippy for help. Although a rare Valentine's Day tale by Geron, it is a very relevant story to our times of Covid, wars and political attacks on the LGBTO+ right now. It is a tale that will inspire and refresh your weary soul while providing some great fun.

I enjoyed the story Geron, but disappointed you missed a great opportunity. I was hoping that there would be a dance off between Kippy and Adrian again. It would have been spectacular! I'm sure the koulu students would have had their spirits rising as they witness the two dancing (not to mention other things). Are elf teen dances provided with chaperones? This is a very unique tale with messages that are of most importance to today!

I often reread great stories. This is one I want to read each Christmas. It is my favorite Christmas tale, because it is filled with love, romance and caring. Charlie, Kip, Adrian and Ricky met Max, and elf, last year at Christmas when Max helped Adrian's mom find a job. This year, Max has a big problem with the Big Guy and desperately needs their help. Santa is crazy and making big mistakes. Kippy uses some squish and Max some dreams to find out how to fix the problem.

I have read many Christmas stories in the Booniverse and beyond. However, this beautiful tale filled with the love, romance and caring tops them all. It is definitely my favorite Charlie Boone Christmas. On second or third readings of a story, I often catch many things missed before. The obvious one referring to the Rocky and Bullwinkle series made me laugh. However, I also noticed Santa's squish increased in control and power with each of the dreams. You were thinking ahead even from the first of the series. Marking this for another read at Christmas, or there about.
