Hi All! Hope you are all having fun. Anyone want to guess which GA club has the most active members?

I sometimes speed through the first time I read a good story. I realized I had done it with this one. The gem I pick up reading this time is the outdoor fire with friends sitting around talking. It brought back great memories of doing the same thing year around. For a few years I spent time doing this with good friends at Christmas and New Years. Thanks for reminding me @drsawzall!

I wonder if a trip to see Flitch would provide information about Urvan or the forest?

The evening conversation with Rainey was a great way to give us more background on the prince and the people he loves. His inner circle of lovers is small and closely bonded in love for each other. It is also apparent that he cares for the people of his castle and takes care of them. I find it interesting that the prince find the fact of just sleeping as a way to bond with those he loves. Finding Urvan in that creepy forest will a challenge. If Urvan decides to be scarce, it may take a time. If Urvan thinks he can outsmart or over power Jamie, he may present himself quite quickly. If Urvan is smart, I think he might send some dangerous beasts or spells to test Jamie and Garvin. I hope that Wanda is there when they arrive and willing to help them. I am sure she will have her price for the services. Garvin and Jamie will have much to tell their master when he returns. I do have other questions. First, why did Flitch give Jamie the white pearl object? What does it do? The only thing I do know is that Geron's answers to these questions will be 1. and 2. .

I am glad that Richie, Tommy and Henry had a backup plan for the adoptions. It is a sad fact of our lives that there are many biased judges like this man who do not serve justice, but his own beliefs. That he had to be reminded of his duty to uphold the law spoke volumes about his competence. I was happy for the boys, Collin, Armand and the family. I hope that the way the judge treated the boys won't spoil their memory of begin adopted. I wonder if anyone in the judge's chamber heard a rocking chair.

Yep! He has earned a place in the Korner with the rest of us. Don't worry @Fanciful Soul. We have those and a lot more. We sneak out great whiskeys from kbois liqueur cabinet and always have hot buttered popcorn in big tubs for when @kbois and @Mrsgnomie get into a snark attack.

You just answered one of my questions Gary! I doubt anything you write will bore your readers, because of the authenticity of your stories. The overall genre may be the same like they are westerns or modern romance, but each has different genres like mystery, adventure or drama.

Hey Man, Having read your stories, I wouldn't use the word novice to describe them. You know I like them a lot. You are a skilled storyteller and are motivated to improve. That's what impresses me!

Gaydar seems to work well in this universe! I like the meeting with Flitch in the nether where Jamie and Garvin taught Flitch about the human aspect of sex as an act of love. The timing was also good as Flitch helped stabilize his lens by giving it a goal. That lens sure did it's job and help Jamie during the battle with Urvan and to get rid of the wraiths. Gavin's new ability was also amazing. I wonder if Gavin's new abilities are just physical or magical also. Are they limited to defending or will he be able to use them offensively also? As for why Urvan is focused on Sedwick, I think it is more than just lust. He also seemed in lust with at least Jamie and Jamie has power. We know that the Sedwick's retainers, Garvin and Getrell are also very sexy and desirable, but Urban said some awful things about the retainers. I also want to know what is the secret that Urvan is hiding. Too bad Jamie doesn't really know the secret, but at least he know there is a secret. I do like the three palace Mages, Kundun, Lestho and Pallin. I wasn't prepared to like them, but they proved their worth in the battle, and loyalty to the prince. The battle was quite exciting. I also liked Sedwick's description of affection when he rebuked Urvan.

Good Morning All! If I was greedy like you know who I'd claim the UK boy band One Direction! I'll leave them for Man, however. He needs some cute UK guys to run their fingers through his hair and say sweet things in his ears.

A short read filled with powerful descriptions that stir the emotions and almost overwhelms the reader. It is very much like a poem in prose form that describes the emotions of a young man's trials as he navigates high school, personal and family tragedies. I does leave the reader hopeful at the end. Excellent writing by @drsawzall!

Aod and I are doing well. Friday is party night, so yesterday and today we stayed home and did our chores. I went shopping and picked up ingredients to make a few different salad dressings. Store bought dressings are usually terrible, at least here. They have strange tastes that I assume come from all the junk added to preserve the dressing. Tomorrow we plan on going to get more of the wagyu beef for a dinner on Wednesday for our friends. Other than that, I have been reading a lot. I do need to work more on my poems.

Garvin and Jamie could seek out Flitch's help in the nether, or maybe the black lens would work. Of course that would too darned easy, so I guess we have to wait to see how twisted Geron's plot gets.
